A/N

Hey guys this is my first fic. I havent seen much great crossovers for these two fandoms so I decided to write my own. I also wanted to give some side characters a chance to shine. They are more powerful than in canon as I feel they could be developed a bit more. I don't own Naruto, BNHA or any of their characters.

Chapter 1- The Mission

Kakashi sighed as he read through Sasuke's report. Said shinobi patiently waiting for the hokage to speak.

"Well this could certainly spark trouble if this is left as it is." Kakashi stated as he slouched in his chair, already feeling older than he should.

"I could continue the investigation and look for more clues involving this device and what it does." Sasuke said looking at the device while doing his best not to let his eagerness to leave the village show. Kakashi however saw right through him and turned his chair facing the large window overlooking the village.

"I may have a different plan in mind and you may not like it but as Hokage and your former sensei I have to do what's best for my shinobi and that includes you Sasuke." He said slowly, side- eyeing Sasuke at the last part.

The raven haired teen sighed knowing it was about time Kakashi would put his foot down. He watched as his former sensei wrote something down on a blank scroll, summoned a chunin and gave them a scroll containing presumably the list of persons to be requested at the office. Kakashi then turned to Sasuke and pinned him under a serious gaze.

"You wish to do some redemption don't you? Well if that's what you wish for, leaving the village won't help. Also choosing to limit yourself by refusing the arm Lady Tsunade so graciously prepared for you is not helping matters either. Makes you seem a little ungrateful don't you think?" Sasuke winced and he continued, "You're probably avoiding the village so you won't have to deal with socializing and the criticism of others aren't you? Well if redemption is what you want it takes place here in the village. Prove to the people that you are no longer who they think you are. You're a hero in this war too so you need to show them that. But first visit Tsunade at the hospital and accept the arm. That is your redemption." Kakashi stated, looking Sasuke in the eyes. He allowed his words to settle in. After a moment he started again. "Sasuke," he waited until he had eye contact. "Make peace with yourself, don't run away. Running away won't solve anything, trust me I've been there. What you can do now is come to terms with the past, live in the present and move forward to the future. Also don't keep the people who are willing to be your friend waiting. You can go now." Kakashi watched as Sasuke left almost as if he was in a daze and sighed. "Well that's done he should be in deep thought for a while and he won't be leaving anytime soon. That should also keep Naruto and Sakura off my back for now. Then there's also this issue." He looked up as the shinobi he sent the chunin for, gathered in front of his desk.

"You called for us Hokage sama?" The shinobi in front, dressed in standard chunin uniform with long mesh sleeves tapered off at the ends in dark green fabric. The others standing dutifully and the sound of nails tapping lightly on the floor with a canine whine could be heard as they awaited orders.

"Shikamaru, Neji, Kiba, Shino you four will operate as a squad to complete this mission. The mission is to locate anything related to this device." Kakashi stated as he pointed to the device sitting on his desk. "This device is related to the Otsutsuki clan." The four shinobi tensed up at this. The copy nin felt a bit guilty at having to send them to do something relating to the clan that destroyed so many lives but it had to be done. "We do not want to have this device or anything relating to it in the wrong hands- people who disagree with the alliance or those who went rogue after the war. To prevent anyone else from finding out about this you will be taking this device with you in a sealing scroll. You leave tomorrow morning so take the rest of the day to pack. Pack for as long as you can. The mission may last longer than expected. Also take some time to say some goodbyes. You're all dismissed."

"Hai"

They shushined out the office to start packing and to visit some friends.
