Lincoln Wayne, eccentric billionaire, proclaimed Prince of Gotham, adopted son of Martha and Thomas Wayne. Suffered amnesia at the age of eleven and was taken in by the Wayne. His life could've been one many could only dream about. That is, until, his new found family was...cut off. Lincoln had saw his adopted Mother and Father gun down by one of Gotham's average criminal, and had to live with that. At least, he still had his butler, Alfred Pennyworth with him, as he treats him like family. These days, it's been about a matter of weeks since Lincoln has returned home to Gotham City, and now he's living a reclusive life in Wayne Manor as Gotham's wealthiest son. But there's something that not many people know about Lincoln Wayne, and that's his nightly job. During the day oh, he may be a billionaire, but during the night... He's something even more. For the city of Gotham is infested with crime; the worst kind of scum imaginable. Gotham needed a hero, and not so long ago, it finally got one. A masked vigilante who's known to most of Gotham as the bat. He's shown the kind of Justice that the police can never muster. He was truly the hero Gothem deserved, the Dark Knight, Batman...
Alfred:"Sir, I know that you have been at it for a few weeks now, but have you at all had any second thoughts on how far this may go?"
Lincoln:"Gotham needs a hero, Al. What I'm doing is for the safety of everyone in the city."
As of right now, Lincoln is struggling to recover from the injuries he's had to endure for the last few nights. New threats have been rising in Gotham and some have even been going after his head...
Alfred:"You may be strong, but you are not invincible."
Lincoln:"I don't have to be. I know the risks, I'm willing to take them."
The memory of the last few nights flashed in Lincoln's mind as he strained himself. He's been dealing with killers, mercenaries, high class assassins. Tracking down the leaders of gangs that have been making their depute in Gotham...
Alfred:"Master Wayne, I hate to say this, but...what would your Mother and Father think if they could you like this."
That was a low blow. None of the pain he was experiencing right now would match to the pain of the mentioning of his late parents. The truth of it is...if Lincoln never had to be Batman, nothing would make him happier...
Lincoln:"Everything I do for this city...is in honor of them. If they could see me now, I doubt they'd see me the same way. But what I do...is to ensure that no one...will ever lose a loved one...because of some punk with a gun."
Suddenly, Lincoln got a signal on his phone, which just so happened to be a flashing bat symbol...
Lincoln:"Duty calls..."
With all that said, Lincoln heads down to the base of operations he had built directly underneath Wayne Manor. From what he knows about it, it used to be a place for hiding escaped slaves during the Civil War. But these days, it's the Batcave. To him, it felt like home, had everything one could ever need; an arsenal, custom made vehicles, a supercomputer, evidence room and a place to put his special suit. It's the kind of suit he wears on nights like this, when the city of Gotham needed its hero. It showed off his emblem of fear, making him a symbol that criminals should always be afraid of whenever they're out in the streets. Within moments, Lincoln suited up and became the Batman.
On the batcomputer, it should a disturbance happening at the Art Museum. No doubt, it must've been the gang of Oswald Cobblepot, otherwise known as the Penguin, the "Gentleman of Crime", and one of the rising Kingpins of Gotham's criminal underworld. Not only does he take to thievery, but Penguin wants to see himself as the Leader of Gotham's Black Market. He also use to be an old friend of Lincoln Wayne, or so Lincoln thought. Thing was that neither really did took to each other, and so, they had a bit of a bitter history going on ever since...
Alfred:"What would Cobblepot want at the Gotham Museum of Art?"
Batman:"What wouldn't he want is a better question. If he could, he would buy the whole the building for himself."
Alfred:"His obsession for ownership over everything will be his downfall."
Batman:"No one knows that better than me, Al."
And so, Batman got into his specially, custom-made car, the Batmobile. But before he left, Alfred had one last thing to say...
Alfred:"Can I at least persuade you to take a sandwich, sir?"
Batman:"Hmph. I'll get drive-thru."
And with that, the Bat takes off. Meanwhile, the Penguin's thugs were busy taking over the Museum...
Thug 1:"Alright! Take everything of interest for the boss!"
Thug 2:"But how do you we know what the boss is interested in?"
Thug 1:"Well, the boss likes to own everything right?"
Thug 2:"Yeah?"
Thug 1:"Well then, you already know."
Thug 3:"Let's just hurry up! I got a bad feeling the Bat might show!"
Thug 2:"Oh, come on. You actually believe in that? There's no such thing as-"
Without warning, something comes crashing from the windows above and it lands on the flow, looking like a shadow, moving swiftly without being seen and takes out everyone of the criminals with ease...
Thug 2:"(strained) ...The Bat.
Batman:"(Pick up Thug 2) Tell me where I can find your boss. Talk while you still can."
Thug 2:"Ugh...Don't worry. He's already on his way, freak."
With that said, Batman punches the criminal out cold and throws him aside, but then sensed a bullet fly by his head. Turning towards the museum entrance, Batman say a short figure wearing a top hat and holding a smoking umbrella in his hands...
Batman:"Cobblepot."
Penguin:"I figured you wouldn't let this slide, Batman. That's why I hired some extra help."
With Penguin snapping his fingers, another figure had then appeared, who seemed about the same height as Batman, wearing a black suit with red highlights and in his hands were a pair of electric shock gauntlets, capable of frying anything to a crisp...
Penguin:"Meet the Electrocutioner, Batman! He'll take care of you!"
Electrocutioner:"Gonna fry your sorry little a**!"
Batman:"Wouldn't be too sure about that."
As the Electrocutioner charges over to the Dark Knight, Batman does the same, but then jumps and does a flying kick on the Electrocutioner's face, knocking him out instantly. This left Penguin jaw-dropped and speechless, all that money he spent for this guy, wasted...
Batman:"I thought you only hired the best, Cobblepot."
Penguin:"This guy was supposed to be one of the best! What the heck?!"
Batman:"I suppose you shouldn't believe everything you see on adds."
Penguin:"Doesn't matter! You're not taking me alive!"
Pressing a button on his umbrella, Penguin was soon airborne as his umbrella soon turned into a propeller, allowing him to fly away. Deciding to not even try at this point, Batman brought out two batarangs and throws them over to the Penguin, destroying his propeller and making him drop to the ground...
Penguin:"(injured quack)"
Batman:"My work here's done."
After tying up Penguin and his goons, Batman fled from the scene and now found himself overlooking most of Gotham city. Standing on a gargoyle pedestal, Batman looked around the city until he found himself starting to sneeze...
Batman:"I guess someone's talking about me again. That's been happening a lot lately..."
It was then that the Dark Knight saw some commotion happening on the street. A street mugging, happening near Crime Alley. He hated that place, as it was a cruel reminder of why he chose to live this way. But as of now, a couple of common thugs were terrorizing a family in a van. And he was not gonna let them get hurt by anyone...
Batman:"I don't think so..."
