A school for outsiders – Miratim
In this story, there are two Previews as will be explained. One for Switzerland and the wbwl story.

A long time ago the whole world lived relatively peacefully. Though a country in the middle of Europe had a problem. That was Switzerland. A small country with a small number of people.
In the 18th century, they had a dark Lord with about the same ideals as Voldemort, just without the Horcruxes.
The main idea was to not let Muggle-Borns into the magical community. So, when this dark lord Erich Herzog, came to power chaos befell the Land.
Erich Herzog not only banned Muggle-Borns from entering but also used a dark magic ritual, where their magic was bound. Squibs were also thrown into the muggle world.
The problem with this was that they were not getting new blood. The purebloods, of course, refused to have anything to do with muggles. If one was found to have any interaction with muggles, muggle-borns and squibs were at best banished from the wizarding community. Half-bloods were also a rather rare thing since on could practically only interact with purebloods.
On another note, before this happened, the swiss wizarding community was thriving with a count over 2 million wizard and witches. Most light families fled when the deaths started to happen. As Switzerland is a country with four national languages it was easy to move. Most people fled to Germany, Italy and France only a few went to Austria or Lichtenstein as Austria had strong ideals, just like Switzerland and in Lichtenstein, it was hard to even gain Citizenship.
Over 1 million wizards and witches had already fled in the first 10 years. That was over half the population. And then the banishment of muggle-borns and squibs it went down to about 300'000 still an incredible amount.
The biggest problem was that the wizarding world was trying to get rid of Erich Herzog, so he lost people in the war against not only his people but also the other countries. The greatest problem though was when the Leaders of Great Britain, Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Lichtenstein, Germany, Norway, Poland and Italy joined together and created a dark ritual, where they closed the borders around Switzerland, so no known magical could go in or out. People could leave if they did not hold the ideals of the old regime anymore. (The whole magical community was warned, and a huge wave fled Switzerland leaving barley any families left. With that, the magical community of Switzerland wasn't getting any supplies anymore and eventually died out with the last witch to die (with knowledge of the old ways) in 1987.
The conditions for reopening Switzerland was a witch or wizard to be born in Switzerland (has to be muggle-born) go to school in either Hogwarts, Beauxbatons or Durmstrang and then come back completely open-minded and build a school for the magical. They also could not have any intentions to rule. So Switzerland was left untouched for ages.
