Sam held out his hand, and Dean rolled his eyes. "Come on, man, a bet's a bet."

"Yeah, yeah," Dean muttered. He pulled out his wallet to give Sam the cash he had when something fell out and hit the floor.

Dean sucked in a breath, but Sam leaned down and grabbed it. "Dude, is this a-?"

Dean snatched the thing from his brother's hand. "Shut up, Sam." He clenched his jaw when Sam chuckled.

"Seriously, you have a-"

"I said shut up, Sam!" He jammed it back into his wallet.

Sam crossed his arms but gave his brother a bemused grin. "Dean, relax; it's just a library card."

Dean didn't look at Sam.

"Dean, it's not like I think you're illiterate or anything. You learned your Vonnegut from somewhere, right? Just surprised, that's all."

Sam sighed, pulled out his wallet, and pulled out his own library card. It matched Dean's and was for the local one in town.

Dean looked at it, then at Sam. "Yeah, well, you're a nerd. I expect this from you."

Sam glared at him. "But seriously, when did you get yours?"

He ran a hand through his hair. "Um...dunno, a couple of months after we moved into the bunker?"

"We've had library cards to the same library in the same town for years, and we never saw each other there?"

"Must have gone on separate trips to town," Dean chuckled.

"Well, now we can just go together and save on gas."

"What, so I can watch you ogle the bodice ripper romances because that's all the action you've been getting recently?"

Sam ignored him. "Hey, we could start a book club. Invite Cas. I'd love to get his perspective on the classics."

Dean gagged dramatically. "Too much nerd energy. You're throwing off my aura." He stomped away from his brother.

"It's a date, then!" Sam called after him.
