AVAST YE ED II: VOYAGE OF LOVE
Chapter 1: Rise and Shine!
It was a typical, late Summers day in the town known as Peack Creek. A town filled with many people, young and old, who were enjoying the last few weeks of their Summer Vacation.
"RISE AND SHINE, BOYS!..."A loud voice yelled.
In a certain cul-de-sac...or rather, a creek that is near it, three boys were in the middle of spending their last few weeks of summer in a special way.
These boys are Edwin Horace Jackson, Eddward Marion Smith and Edward Skipper McGee, otherwise known as Ed, Edd n Eddy.
No longer children, they are now 16 years old and enjoying a weekend camping and fishing trip. As in, they'd pitch up a tent in the nearby woods and spend the night there, and in the morning, try and catch some fish from the creek.
Right now, Eddy wanted to do the later.
"Come on, you two. Those fish aren't going to catch themselves..."Eddy said as he dragged his friends out of the tent.
"Eddy, couldn't we have done this at a more reasonable hour..."Edd said as he rubbed his eye.
"Aren't you suppose to be the on-time guy...besides, my dad told me that you have to get up early to catch the fish before they get wise..."Eddy said.
"Very well, but let me at least get dressed and have some breakfast first..."Edd said.
"Breakfast for Ed, now..."Ed said suddenly.
"Fine, ya whiners..."Eddy said, annoyed.
The sooner they got to do some actually fishing, the better.
And most importantly, he wanted HIS FRIENDS, to focus more on the manliness of the outdoors and not some DISTRACTIONS from back home that have been getting in his way lately.
But not this time.
Edd went back into the tent to change into a new set of clothes and Ed loudly munched on the chunky puffs they brought, as the boys began having breakfast in the great outdoors.
Away from the hustle and bustle of suburban life...and some distractions that will not be named for now.
Later
After breakfast, Eddy dragged his friends to his dad's motorboat, one who he had loaned to his son, on the condition that it will be returned in one peace.
"Oh my, Eddy. Are you sure that you know how to work this thing?..."Edd questioned as he eyed the boat.
Eddy nodded.
"Peace of cake. My dad and I used this all the time..."Eddy said confidently.
"I am still surprised that your father allowed you to use this thing, considering what happened last month when you-..."Edd was cut off when his friend waved his hand.
"I know, I know!..."Eddy cut him off.
He did NOT want to remember what happened last month that resulted with some damage being done to the backyard and him getting grounded as a result.
"Look, I already spent a week doing extra chores and my dad and I are cool now..."Eddy said to his friends.
Edd still looked unsure, while Ed looked excited.
"Dive captain! Dive!..."Ed said excitedly as he hopped in it.
"That's the spirit, Lumpy..."Eddy said, before turning his attention to Double D, who sighed.
"Oh, very well...just be careful..."He said as he got in.
Eddy then got in, went to the motor and grinned.
"This is gonna be sweet!..."Eddy said.
"Like May's gravy cakes..."Ed said suddenly and soon had a lovesick look on his face as he thought about the blonde girl and the tasty snack that she sometimes makes him.
Eddy heard this and frowned.
"Lumpy, I told you no talking about girls this weekend!..."Eddy yelled.
"But I miss her!..."Ed whined.
"You saw her yesterday and you'll see her again tomorrow but this weekend, it is us. No Kankers!..."Eddy said.
Edd, however, sent him a disapproving look.
"Now Eddy, Ed has every right to talk about her if he wishes. I understand the longing, for I still long for the embrace of my beautiful Marie..."Edd said, now sporting a lovesick look too.
"KNOCK THAT OFF!..."Eddy yelled, snapping them out of it.
For reasons that Eddy did not understand, both of his friends were dating one of the Kanker sisters. Ed was with May and Edd and Marie were an item. They spent every other minute next to those girls, laughing, giggling, going on dates and kissing them WILLINGLY.
It was sickening!
It was the main reason why Eddy planned this trip to get his friends away from them...and to get himself away from a certain red haired girl who won't leave him alone.
"We came here to do manly stuff such as camping and fishing, not talk about your Kanker girlfriends!..."Eddy said in anger.
"Eddy, I may have agreed to come here but I did not agree to be ordered around like this or to listen to you speak that way about my Marie..."Edd said sternly.
If it had been last year at least, Eddy knew that his friend would never say that but Marie brainwashed him during an experimental date, poisoned him with Kanker love and now, it she is all he thinks about.
Ed is no different and since he is the least intelligent, it didn't take long for him to submit to May after Edd submitted to Marie. In fact, it's been two weeks since they did their own "experiment" and it resulted in Ed acting head-over-heels for the blonde Kanker.
His friends had become victims to those harpies but not not him!
Eddy will NOT submit to a Kanker.
Not now, not ever.
"Just come on, the fish aren't going to catch themselves..."Eddy said.
"Very well, just as long as you do not speak ill of the girls..."Edd said.
"Yeah..."Ed agreed, for once, being coherent enough to pay attention.
"I will if you both stop focusing on them and start catching some fish..."Eddy said before turning to the motor on the boat and gripped it.
"Away, we go!..."Eddy said as he turned the motor on to full power and they zipped out of there.
"EDDY!..."Double D shouted as he tried to hang on.
"GRAVY!..."Ed yelled and laughed.
Eddy grinned.
"This trip is EXACTLY what we needed!..."Eddy thought as he kept moving at fast speed.
This is what his friends need to get their minds off those lousy Kankers and onto more important things.
Like him.
He had it all planned out, a weekend of non stop male activities such as camping, fishing, hiking and NOT thinking about girls at all and his friends should be out of it. It's totally full proofed and nothing can go wrong.
Unfortunately, the shortest of the Ed's, did not seem to understand that he just jinked himself.
