Akito sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. He was a 12 year old boy with fair skin, wild red hair, and golden eyes. He was wearing sleeveless black shirt over a fishnet shirt, black shinobi pants with a weapons pouch on his left leg and a supply pouch on his right, red leg warmers, and black sandals. He had a Konoha Headband tied around his neck. "Did you really have to hit the guy?" He asked. "I simple no would've been enough."
The one he was speaking to was a 12 year old girl with fair skin, green eyes, and pink hair. She wears a redqipaodress — at various times either with or without short sleeves — with slits along the sides accompanied by a zipper and white circular designs. She also wears tight dark green bike shorts with a shuriken holster around her right thigh, blue sandals, and the standard Konohaheadband worn as a hairband. Her name is Sakura Haruno. "Oh shut up, Akito!"
Akito rolled his eyes. "Sure, more violence is the perfect response." He said as he shook his head. "You okay over there Naruto?"
"Yeah I'm good." Naruto said as he sat up. He has blond, spiky hair and blue eyes. His trademark characteristics are the three whisker markings on his cheeks. He wears orange shirt under a black jacket, black shinobi pants, and black sandals. His headband was wrapped around his forehead. "Geez, I just asked for a date."
"Well you should've took the hint." Sakura said as she turned away embarrassed. She knew it was over the top.
Akito raised an eyebrow. "What hint? The windup?" he asked.
Sakura's eyebrow twitched. "I'm sorry, okay!" she said.
"Well then." Another voice spoke up. "That was…something.
Turning to the door they saw a man with spiky silver hair that was slanted to the left, as single black eye was shown as he had the other covered by his headband. He had facemask that covered the bottom of his face. aflak jacket, dark blue pants, and a long-sleeve shirt. He also wears fingerless gloves with metal plates on the backhand.
"You're our Sensei." Akito deduced.
"Sharp as a kunai." The man said. "My first impression is…you're annoying. Meet me on the roof." Suddenly he was gone.
Akito raised an eyebrow. "Rude." He said as he stood up. "Welp, see ya there."
"Hey wait up!" Naruto called as he and Sakura followed.
-Rooftop-
Akito sat between Naruto and Sakura as their Sensei leaned against a rail reading a book.
"Alright, we'll start by introducing ourselves. I'll go first." The man said as he closed his book. "My name is Kakashi Hatake. I like some things and I dislike other things. My hobbies are none of your business and neither is my dream for the future. Whiskers, go."
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I like Ramen, Orange and Pervy Sage. My dislikes are hospitals and the time it takes to cook ramen. My hobbies are training, and gardening. My dream is to be the next Hokage! Dattebayo!"
'Simple enough.' Kakashi thought. "Red."
My name is Akito Yamamoto. My likes are cats, fighting, and books. My dislikes are coconuts, squids, and arachnids. My hobbies are training, smithing with my dad, and meditation. My dreams to become a legendary shinobi, so legendary my name surpasses them all!"
'Kid dreams big, I respect it.' Kakashi praised. "Pinkie."
"My name is Sakura Haruno. My likes are Sasuke-kun and medical ninjutsu. My dislike Ino-pig and rats. My hobbies are studying and practicing medical jutsu. I don't have a dream right now but I want to learn all I can about medical ninjutsu."
'A useful fangirl. New.' Kakashi stood from the rail. "Alright meet me at Training Ground 7 tomorrow at 9 am. Also, I suggest you don't eat breakfast. You might puke it up."
'No way in hell am I giving up the most important meal of the day.' Akito thought immediately.
Naruto mentally scoffed. 'It wasn't an order, so fuck that.'
Sakura put her hand on her stomach. 'No way in hell am I doing that. I refuse to go back on that diet.'
"So we start our start our first mission tomorrow?" Akito asked. "Or is it a training session?"
"Actually, it's your final exam before you're truly capable of being called Shinobi of Konoha." Kakashi explained, shocking the three. "Be warned, there is 66% Chance of failure. Fail…and it's back to the academy."
The three gulped as they suddenly felt nervous.
"And now that you're properly scared, dismissed." Kakashi disappeared once again in a swirl of leaves.
Akito stood up. "Alright! We're all smart enough to eat breakfast tomorrow, right?" He asked. His teammates nodded. "Good, now, we need a plan."
"How? We don't even know what the test is." Sakura replied.
"Well, whatever it is, there must be some form of combat." Naruto said with both fists pumped. "If anything, the way Sensei was talking I wouldn't be surprised if out right combat was the test."
"I guess you're right." Sakura said after she thought about it.
"So. planning time and I know just the place." Akito said as he smiled.
-Akimichi Restaurant-
The team sat at a table all with their own dishes in front of them.
"Alright, let's start with our skills." Akito suggested. "I'm pretty good at Taijutsu as I'm proficient in Strong Fist, I know a couple Fire and Earth Jutsu but nothing special. How about you two?"
Sakura went first. "I'm good in Medical Jutsu. Other than that, I only know the Academy Jutsu and some Taijutsu."
"I know some Wind Jutsu, Shadow Clones, and I'm pretty decent in Taijutsu." Naruto explained before he snapped his fingers in realization. "I learned trap making and fuinjutsu from Pervy Sage!"
"Fuinjutsu? Really? What level?" Akito asked. "Me too. What level?"
"Adept."
"Aww man, I'm still a Novice."
8Sakura cleared her throat. "Well as interesting as all of this is, can we get back to coming with a plan?"
"Alright, so it's three Genin up against a Jonin. The odds favor Kakashi." Akito said as he folded his arms. "We have 3 Elements, A medic, seals, and traps. That's more than most."
"We could head to the training ground and lay some traps!" Naruto suggested. "I have a good amount of Explosive Seals, Paralysis Seals, and Flashbangs already made."
"I can add on to the Explosives." Akito nodded. "Sakura?"
"Well Kabuto-san taught me the Chakra Scalpels, and some poisons recently." Sakura said as she showed her supply pouch. "I have some poisons made here."
"Excellent." Akito said with a toothy grin, revealing sharp fangs. "Alright, I have an idea."
-Next Morning, Training Ground 7-
Kakashi stood in front of his three students. He stared at them for a few moments as if evaluating him. 'Based on the three of them leaving together, I can assume they formed a plan together. This team just might be the one but let's see how they hold up.' Kakashi held up two bells. "The objective for each of you is to grab one of these two bells.,
"Two bells, three students. What's the catch?" Akito asked as he folded his arms.
"Simple. The one who does not get a bell." He paused for dramatic effect. "Get's sent back to the Academy."
"WHAT?!" The three students yelled.
"See? Simple." Kakashi said as he pulled out an alarm clock. "You have until noon. Begin!"
The three Genin disappeared from Kakashi's line of sight. The Jonin hummed in approval as he pulled out his book.
-With the Genin-
"What do we do now?" Sakura whispered to her teammates. "We didn't consider anything like this."
"We stick to the plan." Akito said
Naruto looked shocked. "How?! The plan was designed for all of us to pass! Not just two!"
"And all of us will pass." Akito stated without hesitation. "This is a psych out. It has to be."
"You might be right." Sakura agreed. "He probably saw the three of us leave together and thought this up to get us to turn on each other."
Naruto blinked. "Hadn't thought of that. So we stick to the plan and show his plan didn't work."
Akito nodded. "Now that we're still on the same page, let's go kick some ass!"
"Yeah!"
-With Kakashi-
The Jonin stood in the same place still reading his book. 'What's taking them so long? Did they already figure it out?'
"Dynamic Entry!" Akito yelled as he flew at Kakashi with a kick.
Kakashi simply leaned to side, causing the redhead to fly past him. Akito rolled as he landed and then immediately charged at the Jonin. Kakashi lazily dodged Akito's attacks without putting down his book. Akito attempted a roundhouse kick that was blocked, followed by an uppercut that was dodged. Desperate for a hit brought the same hand down for a chop, which was also dodged, and left a small dent in the ground.
'Hm, good speed. Strong too. Definitely Gai's teachings though.' Kakashi mentally noted before pushing the Genin away.
Akito clicked his tongue annoyance. "Alright, let's see how you like this." He said as he formed the hand signs for Snake and Tiger before slamming his fist together, causing them to burst into flame. "Fire Style: Blazing Fists!"
'Hell No. Not risking Icha Icha for this.' Kakashi thought as he put his book away. "Alright, let's see what you got."
Akito smirked as he charged forward. Kakashi was prepared to counter until Akito rushed past him, revealing Sakura right behind him with Chakra Scalpels active. The pinkette swiped at him, she missed as Kakashi jumped back but found himself losing balance as Akito's leg sweep connected with the back of his leg. Naruto ran up and jumped off Sakura's back to bring a fist down onto Kakashi's face.
"Got'em!" Naruto yelled in celebration before he realized his fist had connected with a wooden log. He landed on the ground and looked around for their Sensei before spotting him leaning against a tree. "Oh come on!"
"Please that's a schoolyard trick." Kakashi said.
Akito threw a combo of punches, launching fire balls at Kakashi. The Jonin jumped into the forest with Naruto and Sakura already in hot pursuit. The duo tried to land a hit with a flurry combo attacks but all attempts were met with blocks or evasions. Kakashi could see their teamwork was sleep as instead of covering each other's openings, instead widened the openings.
"Akito!" Naruto called out.
Above them Akito smirked as he made the Ram hand sign. He activated multiple tags with a burst of chakra. Naruto and Sakura jumped back as yellow smoke filled the area.
'What's this? Paralysis poison? Cute.' Kakashi said. 'Luckily I'm prepared for such a thing. Thank you Sensei.' He was about to counter attack when he found his movements were limited. "What?"
Naruto's laughter caught his attention. "Sorry Sensei but I heard Dad always found ways to help others close to him in anyway, including turning a simple mask into a filter with fuinjutsu."
"Good thing this poison sinks in through the skin!" Sakura finished with a wink.
Akito jumped down behind Kakashi. "Looks like we got you beat Sensei." He said.
"And what makes you so sure I can't escape this?" Kakashi said with a deadly tone.
"Oh, we're almost certain you can." Akito said before he jumped next to his teammates and showed him the bells. "But our objective is complete."
Kakashi's eyes widen. 'When did…? Wait, when he rushed passed me.' The Jonin's mind went back to the moment to see what happened.
-Mini Flashback-
Akito had rushed passed Kakashi. As his jutsu was still active, he had no choice but to grab with his teeth. His headband around his neck was loosened to hide the bells, so he carefully moved his head to hide the bells. When Kakashi was pushed into the forest, he deactivated his flaming hands and placed them in his back pocket before tightening his headband.
-Flashback End-
Kakashi chuckled with an eye smile. "Well done. However, I'm afraid you're celebrating too early." He said as he channeled his chakra through his body. 'I should thank Gai for this, maybe I'll actually respond to his challenge next time. Yeah, that should be good enough.'
The Genin gulped as they saw Kakashi slowly regained his movements. "You three have approximately 3 minutes and 45 seconds to return to your base, where started, with the objective."
Not needing to be told twice, The Genin took off. Each moved as quickly as possible but it was clear Akito and Naruto were faster than Sakura. The two boys nodded before Akito tossed the bells to Sakura. "Keep going. We'll hold him off and catch up with you."
"There's no way you two can beat him alone!" Sakura argued.
"We don't have to beat him. Just slow him down." Naruto retorted as he and Akito stopped. "So you keep going and we'll catch up!"
Sakura looked skeptical but nodded. Akito and Naruto prepared themselves as they felt a burst of Chakra.
"Here he comes." Akito said with a sigh.
"Well let's give him a deterrent." Naruto said with a smile.
Akito smiled as they both ran through different hand signs.
"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" Naruto yelled as he breathes out a stream of wind.
"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!" Akito said as he exhaled dragon shaped fire.
Kakashi's eyes widened as he saw both Jutsu combine into a giant dragon shaped inferno that closed it's flaming maw around him, creating a big explosion.
Akito and Naruto covered their faces from the wind and debris of the explosion. They hadn't expected the techniques to fuse the way they did. "Whoa." They said.
"Think we over did it?" Naruto asked in concern.
"He's probably had worst, just run!" Akito said as he turned only to receive a punch that sent him to the ground. He rolled along the ground before hitting a tree.
"Akito!" Naruto yelled before the wind was knocked out of him by a knee to the gut.
"If I didn't know any better I'd think you were trying to kill me." Kakashi said as he watched Naruto try desperately to breathe. Kakashi ducked, allowing a returning Sakura to fly over him. He kicked her in the stomach, sending her in to the air before she hit a branch. He caught her as she fell and saw she was unconscious. 'Need to work on her endurance.'
Akito pushed himself up using the tree he hit. He looked up at Kakashi as the Jonin reached for the bells. The redhead threw a shuriken, cutting the string holding the bells. He ran forward to catch the bells as Naruto charged to rescue Sakura. Kakashi suppressed a smirk as he threw the pinkette at Naruto, catching the blond off guard as he caught her. Akito fell victim to a palm thrust to the stomach, removing the air from his lungs, as Kakashi caught the bells.
It was at this moment that the alarm rang, signaling the end of the test.
"Would you look at that, noon." Kakashi said with an eye smile. "See you back at the field."
Akito growled as punched the ground. 'Damn it!'
-Training Field-
Kakashi stared at the three dejected Genin. Naruto looked down, Sakura is on the verge of tears, and Akito glared out off to the side, almost trying to light a fire with heat of his glare. "Well, you lost. What do you have to say for yourselves?"
"The bells are bullshit." Akito said.
"Care to elaborate?" Kakashi asked.
"It was never about the bells, was it? It was about us working together." Akito said.
Sakura wiped her tears. "You designed this test specifically to see if we turn on each other. If we can't trust our teammates, who can we trust?"
Naruto perked up. "We can't allow anything to break us apart. We have to rely on each other at all times. Being selfish at the cost of the team is unacceptable!"
Kakashi hummed before he chuckled. "Well, you've made my job easier and this a lot shorter. Congratulations. You pass."
Akito sighed in relief as Naruto and Sakura cheered.
"Now. We get to training." Kakashi said as his eye smile turned dark. "Someone needs to suffer for that Combination Jutsu.
"That was an accident!" Akito and Naruto yelled.
"No matter. Drop and give me 100." Kakashi said.
The three groaned as they got into position and began their push ups.
-5 hours later-
"It hurts to breathe." Sakura wheezed out.
"It is on this day that I, Naruto Uzumaki, have learned true pain." Naruto said as every muscle ached. He suddenly felt kinship with someone, he didn't know who, only that they lived in Ame.
"Yeah, that's my workout for the day." Akito said with a pleased smile.
"Glad you enjoyed it Akito, because you're doing twice as much tomorrow." Kakashi said as he stood over them with his book in hand.
"He's a damn demon." Sakura said.
"What was that?" Kakashi asked.
"That was some great training!" Sakura cheered nervously.
"I agree. Well that will be all, meet back here tomorrow at 9 AM. Dismissed." Kakashi said with an eye smile before he disappeared.
"So, we're all in agreement that he's a sadist, right?" Akito asked as he pushed himself up.
"Yep!" Naruto and Sakura replied as they did the same.
"Well, I'll see you guys tomorrow." Akito said as he hopped up. He winced as several muscles flared in indignation. "Son of a-!"
"Hey don't push yourself like that!" Sakura scolded him.
"I'm good. I'm good." Akito said through a grit teeth. He took a couple deep breaths and started walking, a slight limp in his step. "See ya!"
"Later!" Naruto yelled as he and Sakura waved.
-Akito's House-
"Dad! I'm home!" Akito said as he stepped into the room.
"There you are!" A man's voice yelled as footsteps approached. A giant of a man stepped out from the hallway. The man stood at 7 feet tall with tanned skin, wild red hair that reached the middle of his back and connected to a full beard, and pitch black eyes. He wears a long sleeved dark blue shirt that clung to his muscular frame, black cargo pants and geta sandals. His name is Tatsuo Yamamoto. "Where have you been?"
"Kakashi-sensei decided to get a head start on our training." Akito said tiredly with a yawn.
"Kakashi?" Tatsuo said with a raised eyebrow. "Silver hair, eye covered by his headband, and reading a book?"
"Yeah." Akito said with a yawn. "I'm going to get some sleep. Night Dad."
"Good night son." Tatsuo said as he smiled at his son. 'Well looks like it's just me tonight.'
-Upstairs, 20 minutes later-
Akito sighed as he dried his hair off, dressed in a t-shirt and black boxers. He got comfortable in his bed and stared at his headband. 'I'll make you proud…mom.'
His eyes closed as he fell into a deep slumber.
-Prologue End-
Hello my darling readers. It's been so long since I posted anything but honestly, I'm crap with money and this is the most I've typed in…well since my last update. Even then this was typed on my phone.
But enough about that. If this seems rushed…well it kind of was. I kinda blew past the test, the team assignments, and the OC introduction. But allow me to just list off a couple changes.
1. Naruto was, mostly, raised by Jiraiya. As a result, he's smarter but I'm gonna try to keep him as close to hyperactive Naruto as possible.
2. Sasuke is not the final member of Team 7, but don't worry. He isn't dead or evil.
3. Sakura doesn't start off completely useless. I honestly don't hate the girl, she was just poorly written
4. Kakashi isn't tardy. I know that's like his whole shtick but I'm making changes for a reason.
For pairings. This will not be a Harem. It will be Akito/Sakura. Others I'm still trying to figure out. I need ones for Tatsuo, Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi. Keep in mind, I care nothing for canon pairings. Just no Yaoi…at this time. Maybe in the future but just not now.

With this, I can make my readers more involved in my stories while hopefully making some extra cash on the side. This Quarantine is a pain on my wallet. However, any suggestions on what to offer patrons would be a big help too. No pressure though.
Finally, I'm going to keep trying this phone typing thing. Probably work on the next chapter immediately after posting this one. As I don't want to leave my readers waiting anymore. Wish me luck.
I think that's everything…WAIT! As it is, Azure Dragon Warlord's fate is up in the air as I've begun to look back on it and I realized. I have no fucking clue what I was doing. I had maybe one or two original things before it just copies canon. I don't know what's going to happen to it at this point.
