So, I did not expect to be back this soon. But, uh, I've been rereading CoHF and I wanted to make a Clalec version of Clary's "dream" (or vision, if thats what you wanna call it) from when the gang first arrives in the demon realm. (AKA Edom.) This is going to be a loose representation of the original dream, and I tried to make it as unique as possible. I didn't want to copy Cassie's work and make it Clalec, that's boring. (And also unfair to Cassie Clare, the author of the Mortal Instruments.)

Hope y'all like it... Enjoy!

Clary POV:

The gang walked through the portal, a swirling sensation of colors.. They knew that on the other side they would find Sebastian, but the rest.. that was unknown. Still, they walked through - knowing that what they were doing wasn't just for themselves, it was for all Shadowhunters and Downworlders. All of Idris. All of the rest of the world, too. On the other side of the portal, was nothingness.. a black abyss - she was unaware that her eyes were closed - that swallowed up the entire space around her, creating the illusion that she was all alone... until Clary opened her eyes..

Clary found herself at the Institute, admiring herself in a mirror with Isabelle standing behind her, smiling a loving smile that warmed Clary's heart. Clary, herself, was also smiling, but she couldn't quite say why she was. She was wearing an absolutely beautiful pale gold ball gown, gold being the color for marriage in Nephilim culture.

"Wow.. Clary, you look so beautiful." Isabelle said. "Alec is going to love it."

"Alec..?" Her own voice sounded like an echo, like it wasn't real. Strange.. she thought, what's happening today with Alec...? "What do you mean, Izzy?"

It's your wedding day, Clary. You and Alec have been in love for 3 years now. A small voice whispered from inside her head. You've been waiting for this day ever since you first met Alec. You always knew he was the one for you.

Isabelle looked confused. "Clary.. are you alright?" She seemed genuinely concerned for her friend's wellbeing. Her look of confusion turning into one of both slight confusion and slight sadness.

Clary frowned. "I'm fine, Izzy.. it's just I can't remember what's going on today.." She sighed. "Can you remind me?"

Izzy nodded, the same expression still clung to her face. "Your getting married today, Clary..."

Clary gasped. "To Alec?!"

Izzy nodded.

Clary felt horrible inside. "How could I forget that?" Clary couldn't even remember Alec proposing to her.

Izzy shrugged. She smiled softly at Clary. "Don't worry about it, Clare. You'll still do great today."

"B-but.. I don't even remember Alec p-proposing to me, Izzy." She stuttered.

"Oh, Clare.. it was an absolutely beautiful proposal from what you told me.. How could you forget? The sc..."

Isabelle's voice faded into the background as Clary desperately tried to remember Alec's proposal... that's when the small voice came again. It doesn't matter how he proposed, Clary.. just that he did, right?

Clary pushed away the voice. It did matter how Alec had proposed. As Clary searched deeper into her memories, her head began to ache and she felt as if she were slipping away from reality. Her legs started to buckle out from under her and she reached for the other girl's arm to steady herself. Her hand went right through, and Clary fell onto her knees, too weak to stand.

"Clary.. are you alright?" Izzy's voice was an echo and her face was starting to blur.

"I-i don't know.." She looked into her friend's eyes... or what she thought were her eyes.

"Stay with me, Clary." Her voice began to fade away, and the image of Izzy blurred even more. She noticed her bending down in front of her and Izzy's hand reaching out to grab Clary's. And even though she thought she saw their hands meet.. she never felt it.

"I'm trying to, Izzy.." She managed to force out. Clary was slipping away and out of the dream that the demon had implanted inside her mind. The same demon that spoke to her once more, desperately trying to keep her in its clutches... Clary, focus.. listen to this voice. Stay with Isabelle. The demon's attempt failed, however. And Clary felt her body come back up to the surface and back into the real world...

Clary found herself staring up at the sky, but not the sky of the world she knew. It was a deep red, dark enough that Clary could tell that it was nighttime. Even darker clouds hung up above and the sun.. well, from what Clary could see, there was no sun.

The events from the Seelie Court suddenly came back to her, and Clary immediately knew where she was. Snapping back into focus, Clary looked around for the rest of her friends. When she saw that none of them were near, she set out to find them.

Haha, I know it wasn't that good.. or that long for that matter, but I still hope you all enjoyed. Bye guys!
