Chapter 1: Sent to Remnant
Bastion Misawa, former student of Duel Academy was in bad shape. He was coughing, he had bruises everywhere and even his bruises had bruises. He knew he had a temperature and he was bleeding from one arm. His clothes were basically rags, his hair was long and tangled and his stomach rumbled with hunger. How he got in this state was sad. He'd run away after Dr Eisenstein dueled Jaden and he'd asked to be his apprentice but he'd rejected him saying he needed to graduate first. Bastion was devastated at this. He couldn't go back, he had contacted Duel Academy before going Eisenstein's lab and had cancelled his last year there. His uncle who supported him had been furious to receive the call and had called him stating that Bastion was on his own from now on. He was after all just turned sixteen, no longer a child, he could make his own way in the world from now on, so he was told.
Bastion knew his uncle hated him, ever since he had found out that his parents had left Bastion the majority of their money and very little for his uncle he'd hated him. Bastion could get the money but only once he'd turned twenty. Bastion had gone on to work full time at a blacksmith's for a month, learning the trade and trying keep up with his education until the smith died from a car accident. The money he'd saved up was gone quite quickly, partially due to being robbed of half of it while in an alleyway and spending what little he had left on food and water. He'd been unable to find any work except the lowest of the low after that and he refused to lose what precious little honour and dignity he had left by lowering himself to do things like that.
He'd been beaten up several times by punks in the back alleys, simply because he was an easy target. One on one or two on one he could handle but a gang of six and another gang of four about five days later was too much, especially without anything to eat and a lack of sleep. He didn't even want to mention the other three tough guys that had beaten him up as well. One of them had had a knife, which was how his arm was injured.
Bastion stumbled, he'd been walking for what seemed like forever, from an estimated guess he'd been on the streets for about a month and he knew that he was sick and slightly malnourished. He finally collapsed in an alleyway, the world was cruel and no one cared enough to help… Well, almost no one…
An ash-pale girl wearing a cloak watched from her post in another dimension entirely and she frowned, her name was Raven, and she was half demon and half human. A boy with his potential needed to be saved, the fools of that earth didn't realise with they were basically throwing away. Time to help. She started scanning the other dimensions, trying to find the one that he could best fit into and grow to his full potential. It took a while but she stopped at a world that was going to have a lot of trouble in the future. She gave a tiny smile, he would do well in this world. Raven waved her hands and in a flash of light Bastion Misawa disappeared from Earth and reappeared in Remnant in another flash of light.
Glynda Goodwitch was passing by when she saw the light and ran over to find Bastion. She knelt down and placing her hand on his forehead, found that he had a raging fever. "My god, how did this happen?" she asked herself.
Raven knew Glynda would need answers and so she sent her a note explaining Bastion's situation. She also pulled a cheeky and sent all of Bastion's money over as well, alongside his birth certificate.
"Poor boy," said Glynda after reading the note, "You, MR Misawa are coming home with me," and using her semblance she lifted him up and carried him back to her house. Raven smiled ever so slightly. She knew that he was in good hands now. She had done all she could…well, she could have healed him, brought out his semblance, brought his body to its physical peak but that would deny any bonding experience with Glynda. Well, it was time she let things happen on their own, but that didn't mean that she wouldn't be watching him.

Glynda entered her house quickly with Bastion levitating right behind her. She placed him on her couch and then ran to get a cold cloth and medical supplies. She also got a pair of scissors and upon returning cut away what remained of his shirt and pants, leaving him only in his boxers. Glynda's hand was over her mouth in an instant upon seeing Bastion's bruises and everything else. She grabbed her scroll and made a call,
"Hello, this is Dr Pink, how may I help you?" asked a woman in her early thirties with pink hair in a high ponytail, blue eyes, fair skin and a bright and comforting smile.
"Angela, it's Glynda, I need you urgently. I have young man of sixteen here in my house, he's got a fever and is undernourished. I'll explain everything later. Get here now, please!" said Glynda's voice, sounding urgent and worried.
"I'm on my way, is there anything else you can tell me?" said Angela, instantly starting to gather her medical supplies as she was talking.
"Yes, he has bruises and a large cut on his arm, it looks infected," replied Glynda.
"I'm on my way now. I want you to give him a bath before I get there, it'll make it easier for me," said Angela, as she was grabbing her keys.
"Alright, I do it now. Thank you Angela," said a slightly happier Glynda.
"Don't thank me yet," she said grimly before cutting off the call.
Glynda sighed and closed her scroll, turning to Bastion and sighed again, before putting a cold cloth on his forehead and then turning and going to run the bath for him. A few minutes later she levitated him into a hot bath, making him groan and flinch as the hot water washed over his wounds. Glynda winced but set to work on cleaning him. She called Angela afterwards, asking if she could buy Bastion a pair of pyjamas and a set of day clothes.
"Of course Glynda, think nothing of it. Just give me his size and I'll get them for him," said Angela. Glynda promised to pay her back to which Angela agreed.
Glynda then turned back to the hurt teen that was still in the bath. She winced at seeing all the bruises and the cut on his arm was bleeding slightly. She levitated him out, covering him with a towel and drew another bath for him. This time she got any remaining dirt off and washed his hair. By the time she was finished Angela had arrived.
"Glynda!" she called.
"The door's open, come in!" she called back.
Angela walked in and quickly made her way to where she'd heard Glynda's voice come from. Her eyes widened when she saw the young teen laying on Glynda's bed with blanket over him. She could see right away that he was in bad shape, the flush on his skin and the sweat on is brow told her a lot and so did the few bruises she could see. "Alright, what happened?"
Glynda just handed over the letter that Raven had left with her and Angela soon had the gist of the situation. I didn't matter to her that the teen was from another world, he was still a teen that needed help and she was bound by patient confidentiality to never reveal anything without his permission. "Alright Glynda, first things first, put these on him," she said, handing Glynda a pair of black boxers. Quick as wink Glynda did as she was told. Now Angela could properly tend to Bastion while preserving his modesty.
2 hours later
Angela sat down in one of Glynda's chairs in the kitchen, gratefully sipping at the mint tea that had been shoved into her hands. It had taken a lot of effort and her healing semblance to fix Bastion up.
"So what's the news?" asked Glynda, she had been working on Bastion's new room while Angela was healing him.
"I've gotten rid of all his bruises, disinfected and mended the cut, there will be no scarring; I made sure of it. I've used my ultimate technique 'Full Healing' to clear up any and all infection and any other diseases."
"What about his fever?" Glynda asked anxiously.
"It's broken thanks to my using my Fever Break part of my semblance. His malnourishment is something that only you need to help with plenty of healthy food. He should wake up by tomorrow morning feeling better. I insist on at least a week of bedrest and then I'll be back for another visit. He can go out into the garden for an hour each day, the fresh air and sunshine will be good for him. I've given him his vaccinations as well and that's all for now," said Angela, finishing her tea.
"Thank you Angela. It's good to know that he's going to be ok," said a relieved Glynda.
"It is. Oh, one more thing. I took the liberty of scanning him to check if he has the potential to use aura. He does and it's a lot. Train him well and he'll be quite a force to be reckoned with. Take care of him Glynda," said Angela, standing and packing up.
"Thank you for everything Angela," said Glynda. "I'll treat him as my own son," she said with a smile and Angela nodded with a smile of her own at those words. The two friends hugged before Angela left and Glynda went upstairs to her room. Using her semblance she got Bastion into the room she made for him.
Bastion groaned a little bit and slowly opened his eyes to see a beautiful blonde woman with green eyes looking at him in concern. "Where…a…am…I?" he croaked and Glynda smiled, he was going to be alright.
"In my house, in the world of Remnant, another dimension entirely," she replied.

So that's the first chapter. Please people, this is nothing but a figment of my imagination that I wanted to write. If you don't like it, don't read but no flames please. It's fiction and it's meant to be fun. I promise this will stick to the RWBY timeline.
