Chapter 1- Shattered

"HOW IN THE WORLD!" Screamed Alya Cesair. She was blaming marinette over something dumb and Lila had Planned it.

"I- I didn't do it...I swear!" Marinette said looking at her friend.

"LIAR!!" Alya said. She pointed her finger at Marinette spatting words that probably shouldn't of been said.

Lila was watching it all.. and did she like it. Marinette was finally going to loose..and very sweetly.

She made sure that her plan was ideal..and very believable.

"I have proof!" Lila said shyly as she looked at Alya.

Alya stopped to look at her.

"You do?" Alya said..amusement plastered all over her face.

"Yes..", Lila pulled out her phone to reveal a picture of Mari stepping on Alyas phone.

Marinette felt like her whole life shattered. Lila, was a fake..she edited that photo very well to create her reality.,and it was happening.

Alya didn't waste anytime..she turned around to face Marinette and pushed her.

Marinette, being the clumsy girl she was fell on the ground..terrified of what was going to happen to her. Everyone circled marinette and Alya..intending to see the show happening before them.

Suddenly, Nino ran Into the circle..pushing students out of the way. He grabbed Alya who was temporarily kicking marinette in anger.

"WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" He said shacking his girlfriend. Alya's face softened and then she began to cry..tears spilling out of her eyes and onto her boyfriend. She knew it..she went crazy on her best friend..over a stupid phone. She didn't know that Lila was changing her completely. Marinette was curled on the ground. She put her hands over her face as tears spilled down her face. Lila smiled in amusement..this was going way better than she expected.

And to her disappointment Adrien came running in pushing people aggressively to get to his best friend. Her crouched next to Marinette telling her to open her eyes and look at him..but she didn't..she didn't she was never that afraid in her whole life. Her and Alya weren't as close..since Alya dissed her for Lila out in the blue. Lila didn't even have to lie for that to happen. Mr. Damocles and Ms. Bustier rushed to Marinette helping Adrien lift her off of the floor and into the nurses office. Students began to leave to their classes amazed at seeing the most kindest girl beaten up for something she didn't do. As Adrien, Nino and Ms. Bustier were watching over Marinette I the nurses office waiting for her parents to arrive..Mr. Damocles solved the problem to as Lila was lying. Marinette didn't know that so many people cared for her..cracking the case that Marinette wasn't in the locker room the other day. Alya was heartbroken..she felt like lashing out on Lila..she felt like killing her..but the last time she tried that..it didn't end so well. She betrayed her best friend..giving her only bruises..and a shattered soul.

Adrien couldn't believe the damage Lila caused. He hated Alya, for even daring to touch Marinette, for even doubting her too. Nino didn't waste any time breaking up with Alya. He knew that she needed help..he told her that he'd wait for her when she had herself situated..which was ideal. Alya wasn't the same..Lila was responsible for that.

20 minutes later..Marinette's parents brought her home to help her out. Alya and Lila were suspended for a week..which wasn't enough to Adrien..but it worked. When Marinette got home her parents easily made her tea and snacks while she was in bed.

Tiki was worried, she knew that marinette turned the other cheek..but she knew that she should've defended herself. She was going to be alright.

40 min later

Marinette woke up to a soft nock on her window. She opened it to reveal a certain black cat. He gave her a soft smile as she let him in her room.

"Hey princess..u ok?" He asked.

She gave him a week smile, which only seemed sorrowful, and sad. He frowned pulling her up so she she could look at him.

"I'm ok..I'm fine", Marinette said. There was no way Chat knew about the bruises on her arms..which she easily covered up with a long sleeve shirt.

He grabbed her arm pulling up her sleeve to reveal the bruises. He never thought that they would get so dark..but they did. She quickly pulled her sleeve back down in embarrassment. Chat lifted his head to see a crying Marinette. The young girl rubbed her arms as she rocked back and forth..she was breathing heavily..shaking her head not knowing why she was feeling this. Chat knew..he knew she was having a panic attack. He quickly brought her head to his chest giving her the biggest hug he could give. He soothed her, rubbing his hand on her back.

"Breathe..just breath", he said. She began to follow his instructions as the panic attack went away. She was going to be ok. Minutes past leaving a snoring Marinette on the bed. Her hair had covered her her face leaving a flustered cat. He gently placed her down on her bed. As he was about to leave through the balcony window, he moved Marinette's hair to see her face. He never realized how beautiful she was, WAIT WHAT? he thought to himself. He left through her window quickly..afraid to admit his feelings. Tiki watched from behind a photo of Mari and Chat..smiling to herself. This cat was already falling.

2 Days later

"She's in PAIN!" Adrien yelled back at his father. Gabriel wasn't letting Adrien visit the Dupain Chang girl for nothing, he knew that she was innocent..but he was curious as to why the boy loved the girl so much.

"I understand but you have a photo shoot and I need u to be ready", Gabriel said harshly.

Adrien stood his ground..he crossed his arms in a pouting manner. He walked up to his father giving him one of his death stares, which reminded the designer much of his late wife. He gave in..letting out a breath..and turning his head.

"Fine, but only for an HOUR" he said.

"THANK YOU FATHER!" Adrien said. He grabbed his bag and raced to The bakery to meet up with Nino, Kim, Alix, and Mylene.

"You know he likes her", Natalie said walking over to Gabriel.

"Yes, he is great friends with her", He said while he sorted through this designs on his computer.

"I meant it as in a very lovingly way, Gabriel...you know that", she said. She immediately powered off his computer, giving him a stare.

Gabriel turned his attention to her..giving a smile.

"I know my son loves this girl..and I intend him to", he said

"Why isn't that?" Natalie asked.

"She's suitable to run the company..why else?" Gabriel said turning his computer back on.

Natalie smirked..Gabriel was finally getting the idea.
