Katsuki loved competitions. They allowed him to hone his trash talking skills, test out new intimidation techniques, ride the adrenaline high, and ultimately bask in the rush of winning. Even as a pro-hero, he made everything a competition if he could, and luckily, his girlfriend didn't mind.

Ochako was a wild spirit, despite her sweet exterior, and Katsuki was adept at activating her competitiveness with very little coaxing. When they had first started dating, they would compete over who could make the other blush the brightest, who could get Denki to shock someone first, or who could get Deku muttering the longest.

Their friendly contests always started in the same fashion. With a simple utterance of, "Oi, bet…" friends and family members would place their wagers. During these times, Team Uravity and Team Ground Zero apparel appeared seemingly out of thin air, which tickled Ochako to death. Katsuki would just roll his eyes and focus on the task at hand. The score of win-loss-tie was 59 Katsuki, 59 Ochako, and 20 ties. Ochako was craving that sweet 60th win.

The squad and their significant others had managed to secure a short vacation to a local beach. Ochako and Mina were sunbathing as the boys played volleyball. Even Katsuki, who usually hated sharing days off with people other than her, seemed to be enjoying himself, as was evident as he screamed at Eijirou to dive for the ball more. Ochako watched him from behind her dark sunglasses, appreciating the way his muscled torso moved in the sand. God? Thank whoever created volleyball and bless the other who brought it to the beach.

Mina giggled at her. "Girl, you have it bad." Ochako didn't even try to argue as she nodded toward the boys.

Katsuki and Eijirou were screaming in victory over Hanta and Denki.

"Of course I do," she responded with a shrug, "Look at him! It's so unfair how attractive he is. I mean honestly... It's amazing that I get anything done at all!"

"Easy! Put him back in baggy clothes and tell him not to look at you like he wants to eat you," Mina laughed as Ochako eyed her skeptically over the rim of her sunglasses.

"Yeah, right. That boy can't look anywhere but her ass. It's sad really," a new voice uttered boredly.

Mina and Ochako turned to see Kyouka walking toward them with Tsu following close behind her. They had wanted to look at a few shops while the rest of the group preferred to soak up the beach as much as possible. Kyouka tossed Mina a bluetooth speaker to set up and Tsu pulled more chairs over.

Ochako mused for a moment over how surreal this moment felt. Mina and Eijirou had started dating during their third year, becoming the first official couple of their class.

Next came Tsu and Hanta, which to this day, surprised most of their classmates. But they were both the beacons of honesty for their respected group of friends. It made sense that the two who kept the others grounded seemed to float toward each other.

Then came her relationship.

Two years after graduation, Katsuki literally bumped into her outside the grocery, making her spill all her freshly bought fruit on the concrete. He offered to cook dinner to make up for it, with the lame excuse, "I ain't about to owe a fuckin' favor to some round-faced nerd over some smashed bananas."

That was ten months ago.

Kyouka and Denki were the most recent couple, much to Mina's enjoyment after years of watching them pine after one another. The pink-haired girl had finally convinced Kyouka to go on one date with Denki, like a real, serious date. Denki had been a nervous wreck, of course, even coming over to Katsuki's apartment asking that Katsuki knock the jitters out of him.

"Dude, what the hell are you even nervous about? This is the girl you've been in love with since we were sixteen. This isn't the time to spaz out," Katsuki lightly punched Denki's shoulder, "Now get out, Pikachu."

Eijirou cried over how manly that short pep talk was for weeks after. But it worked, because the next morning, Denki changed his relationship status, and Kyouka scheduled a girls' night.

Casual rock played from the speaker, bringing Ochako back to the present. Realizing the girls had started talking about the shops they found, she resettled on the chaise, looking out once more to the guys. On her left, Tsu sighed blissfully.

"This was a great idea. The last time we were able to do this, Iida and Midoriya got called away."

"That's right! And it was in the middle of a game! Katsuki was pissed about it for the rest of the trip."

"He is always angry, Ochako, you're just used to it by now... But that time, Hanta was also upset. Hopefully this volleyball game goes well."

"Tsu, we're cheering on opposite sides here."

Tsu turned her head to Ochako for a moment before returning her attention back to the game.

"Are we? Sometimes you enjoy when Bakugou loses. I figured this might be one of those times."

Ochako sat up straight, offended that she would ever be accused of not cheering her boyfriend on. "What gave you that idea?"

"Every time he yells a curse, you smirk."

"He curses all the time! And I have always found it funny!" Her eyes narrowed as Tsu stared blankly at her. Neither one moved until…

"Oi, fuck face. You're cheating!"

Shit. Tsu smiled knowingly as Ochako's mouth twitched.

"Okay fine, I admit it's fun to watch him get riled up!"

"And yet when he says the same to you, you pout. Hmmm..."

"Leave me alone, Tsu. I don't need your sass right now." She flopped back dramatically as Tsu laughed.

"What's so funny?" Hanta asked, suddenly appearing and picking up Tsu's feet to sit at the edge of her chair. Tsu laughed again as Ochako huffed, nose pointed away from them.

"Bakugou is rubbing off on Ochako and she is pouting. Who won the game?"

"Fucking cheaters that's who. Even Eijirou says they cheated." A shadow looms above Ochako.

She cracked her eyes to see the remaining men starting to sit with their respective women. Eijirou pulled Mina off her chair completely to sit under her like she was in 'zero gravity,' while Denki sat on a towel near the top of Kyouka's chair.

And then there was Katsuki, who sat on his knees on the base of her chair, letting his body fall on top of her. This had to be karma for silently wanting him to lose.

"Oof! Oh my God. Katsuki, get off!" she shrieked, even as his heavy weight settled further against her.

"No. You're supposed to comfort me so I don't murder my supposed friends."

"You weigh a fuck ton. Get off of me, you dick!" Their friends laughed as she started smacking his shoulders repeatedly. He rolled his eyes but did as she requested, shifting his body down so that his arms bracketed her frame, his head resting against her shoulder and his face turned towards her chest.

"Damn Uraraka, you sound just like Bakubro. You need some soap, young lady!" Denki playfully scolds

She covered her cheeks as her face quickly turned the color of a tomato. Not only was Katsuki clearly content laying on her in front of all their friends, nuzzling her bikini clad chest, now she even sounded like him. Was she always crude like this?

"It—it's his fault! I just.. He corrupted me! Tsu, back me up here."

"Maybe with the language, but you've always had thoughts like these. You just whispered them under your breath until Iida would reprimand you. You even have a scar on your shin from a really good kick during second year when—" Ochako moved to hide said leg under Katsuki, but he caught her knee and held it firmly so everyone could inspect it. Sure enough, a faint, brown scar lay in the middle of her shin and the group howled in laughter again.

"Yeah okay we got it, Tsu. You suck."
