Hi everyone CR here with my first ever story and first time writing in general. Wrote this after being inspired by the works of The Kross Kings and FlameFox for this crossover. I've got a good plot idea for this story and hope to see it through. Hope you all enjoy.

Long ago Since the Beginning of Man many tales of greatness, morals, strife, conflict, pain and war have been passed down, cultivated, and spread. These tales are many, among these stories are tales about two brothers. For the Egyptians it was Anubis and Bata, From the tale of christianity is Kane and Abel, for ancient Greece there was Cleobis and Biton, for ancient Rome Romulus and Remus and many many more. This story however is about two different brothers and starts here in America state Virginia.

October 10th 1993

Richmond city Hospital

In one of the hospital's delivery rooms a baby's cries could be heard.

"Congratulations Mrs. Dickson, it's a boy." The attending Doctor congratulated while the accompanying nurse proceeded to clean and wrap the newborn in a blue blanket.

In the delivery room bed lay an exhausted yet happily smiling woman in a hospital gown with blonde hair, dark gray eyes and pale skin. The exhausted mother was Samantha Dickson. The now named Mrs. Dickson reaches out for her newborn son. "Can I see him please?"

"Of course mam." The doctor waves to the assisting nurse to bring over the child. Carefully the nurse puts the baby in his mother's arms. Mrs. Dickson looks into her baby's ocean blue eyes full of love and care. The doctor waits silently for a minute before getting the woman's attention. "Your husband and son are still in the waiting room mam. Would you like for us to send them in now?"

Mrs. Dickson doesn't even look away from her baby to respond. "Yes please." She asks while she rocks her baby slowly in order to lessen the child's cries. Within minutes her husband Jacob Dickson, a man with tan skin, brown hair, dark blue eyes wearing squared glasses in a red buttoned shirt, blue jeans and boots walks in carrying their 2 year and 2 month old son on his shoulders.

"How are you holding up Samantha dear?" Mr. Dickson asks as he takes their eldest child off his shoulders while looking at the newest addition to their little family with the biggest smile he had.

"I'm fine honey, just a little tired is all." Mrs. Dickson looks to her husband and older son and an idea comes to mind. Happily smiling Samantha Dickson gestures to her husband closer while adjusting their new born son so as to give both the father and their now eldest son a better look. "Look Chad, come and meet your new baby brother." Mrs Dickson says as her eldest is brought in closer.

Jacob Dickson happily watches as he puts his first born on the bed next to his wife and leans in close to look upon his family. "Your a big brother now, son." Jacob says happily and excitedly. The young toddler looks at the baby in his mothers arms with curiosity. "Bwaby bwother?" Toddler Chad says in wonder leaning closer to his mother and new born sibling.

Watching this scene play nearby the doctor approaches once more gaining the parents of the new family of four's attention. "Pardon Mr. and Mrs. Dickson, but if I may ask, what is the name you wish for us to fill out on your newborn son's birth certificate?" The doctor inquires holding a clipboard with said document in hand ready to be filled.

Samantha and Jacob looked at their now sleeping baby then up again and looked to the doctor. "We had discussed it before when we found out we were going to have another son and decided to name him Nathan. Nathan Dickson." Samantha Dickson states proudly.

Series of timeskips

1 week

After a few days having the new baby home in their small two bedroom home Jacob and Samantha after putting both kids to bed, stay up in the night to discuss what their next move was to be. Unbeknownst to them that the choices they make and the success they get would change the course of their lives and their children's.

4 months

Young Chad sat still next to his baby brother watching as his parents were packing boxes. Not sure what to make of it turns his attention back to watching his infant sibling waddle about.

2 days later

The Dickson family drove following the moving truck to their new home in a small town called Cleveland. Once they arrived at their new home they would also come to meet their neighbors, a couple by the name McKenzie. Who they would later learn where expecting a baby of their own early next year.

3 year timeskip

Much has changed in Chads young life from the birth of his baby brother, the move to Cleveland, meeting the McKenzie originally just a family of 2 turned 3 with the birth of their daughter they named Rachel and now he was going to become part of a super cool kids organization kids next door or KND for short. How this happened is a long story but the gist of it was this.

Flashback 3 days ago

Chad, his brother Nathan and the Mckenzie neighbor girl Rachel Mckenzie had been taken to the park by their respective mothers to spend time outside and make more friends. For a time all was good until Chad heard some commotion and chose to leave Nathan and Rachel behind to investigate and what he came upon was a group of slightly older kids around ages of 8-10 years old battling a giant sized bully with some kind of paddle like weapons made of wood and other random materials.

The fight was almost over but before the kids could finish and subdue the giant it swatted one of the kids into another who had been shouting orders. This left the other remaining kids to lose focus long enough for the bully to recover and start taking the others out in a similar fashion. Now the kids were the ones in trouble as the bully seemed to get ready to body slam them and flatten them like a pancake.

Chad felt compelled to help them escape such a fate and swiftly looked around spotting some discarded metal jacks, a yoyo and one of the paddle weapons close by a plan was formed and chad took action taking a hand full of metal jack and putting them in his pocket he next grabbed the yoyo and weapon holding each in one hand and ran towards the bully.

Bully POV

This was it, the debut of the young knd villain soon to be known as BIG Brother was drawing to a close with a victory. The mission from the super villain adult known as Father was going to end with success. All he had to do was play as distraction while Father had the Ice-cream men pull a raid on the neighboring KND ice cream storage base and that was it and it was nearing completion the actual defeat of the neighboring operatives was just a bonus.

But before the BIG Brother could perform his new signature body slam he felt a sudden tension on his arm the giant kid turned his attention from his would be victims and looked to his side having only long enough to see a small kid flying at him with one of the discarded weapons in hand before the trigger was pulled. Pain and darkness flooded his senses before his consciousness left him.

End POV

Chad stood still letting what he had just achieved sink in before rushing over to the now recovered yet gobsmacked kids.

Flashback end

That was the day Chad learned of the KND and was later recruited. Now here he was about to leave for his first day of training all he had to do was go meet up with the same KND operatives he saved and they would be escorting to and back to their training base.

Only thing delaying him from that was having to sneak away from the McKenzie house. Reason why he's at the McKenzie residence is because both their parents were out to work their mom as an assistant dentist, his father working at some lab because of this they'd asked Mrs. McKenzie to watch over the two boys with pay of course.

Scanning the living room Chad made sure the coast was clear then dashed to the door turning the knob ever so gently.

"Chad?"

Looking over his shoulder Chad spotted his 4 year old brother in the middle of the room. "Where ya going?" Nathan inquired his head tilted to the side in childlike wonder.

"Nathan, don't tell anyone i'm just going out for a bit i'll be back." Chad stepped out as he opened the door. "Can I come?" Nathan asks, getting closer to the door.

Pausing for a moment Chad pondered what he say. "Next time okay? Just cover for me and i'll bring back some cookies for you on my way back. Just go and play with Rachel."

Nathan's eyes lit up at that before nodding and running back to the McKenzie's backyard. With problem avoided Chad made haste to the start of a great adventure.

This took me a while but im glad to get that out of the way. Planning to do a reading/watching of this too soon and it may hold a few key hints to some spoilers if you read closely. I'll be doing my best to try and update regularly but first see how this goes.
