Zack Snyder's Justice League/Avengers

Hey guys it's chaoskeeten and I'm going to introduce a new story/crossover between two of the biggest comic book companies in the world. Marvel and DC comics. I recently watched Zack Snyder's Justice League and it's one of the best super hero movies I've seen. I've also rewatched Avengers infinity war and Endgame to understand the movies as well. Both Darkseid and Thanos are two of the strongest being in their respective areas yet many people would want them to fight against each other.
Personally they are extremely intelligent and deep down a fight would be pointless for both sides (side note Ik Darkseid would 9 times out of 10 would curb stomp Thanos in the comics. For the sake of this story I will be using the movie versions of the characters with equal strength and abilities). That got me thinking of a story where the Mad Titan meets the New God and helps him conquer earth to retrieve a special prize for both parties. The first 5 chapters will mostly be introducing and building up the story with Thanos and Darkseid. With that out of the way let's get into it.
Chapter 1: Titans and New Gods
XANDAR: MARVEL UNIVERSE 199999: year 2018
The last four years of this world history been filed with nothing but being the guardian of one of the most powerful objects in the entire universe. When Ronan the Accuser decided to invade the planet he held with him one of the Infinity stones: The Power stone. With it he decimated the Nova Corp and tanked a blast that could destroy a moon from a gun a certain furry criminal built. Had it not been for a human distraction that involved a "dance off". Ronan would have destroyed Xandar and then challenge Thanos. Instead the newly formed Guardians of the Galaxy killed Ronan and gave the stone to the Nova Corps to protect the stone.
Now fast forward four years later and the world is nothing more than death and destruction that inhabit the planet. Thanos; The Mad titan and a Mad Prophet came down with his massive ship Sanctuary II along with a massive Chitauri fleet to not only balance the worlds population but also come looking for the Power Stone to begin the Snap: once he has all six stones he can snap half of all life out of existence. A quick and merciful death for them. As he walks over to a nearby window to look over the violence and slaughter that he takes and nothing more then one more world balanced out. One of his adopted sons began to speak yet preach to those who still live and yet also to the dead. "Hear me and rejoice. You have had the privilege to be saved by the Great Titan. You may think this is suffering. No. It's salvation. The universal scale tips towards balance because of your sacrifice. Smile. For even in death you have become children of Thanos." As he finished giving what many few are alive in the room a cold chill down their spines.
The leader of the Corp: Nova Prime Irani Rael; looks over to see her fallen people lying on the ground with various different blood coming out from them he stares at a armored warrior who carries on one hand a double bladed sword and on another a orb that houses the power stone. "I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail nonetheless. It's frightening. Turns the legs to jelly. I ask you, to what end? Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now it's finally here. Or should I say, I am here." As he holds up on his left hand a empty infinity gauntlet with a smile on his face, The Maw is handed the orb to begin opening the contraption. Thanos looked down at Nova prime and placed his hand on her shoulder in comfort. "You have my respect Nova prime, all the slaughter, violence, and conquest will be over soon. With all six stones I can simply snap my fingers. When I'm done half of all Xandarians will still be alive. I hope they will remember your bravery and courage." As he walked over to The Maw, he sees two of his other children come in. One that resembles the Hulk but dumber and armed with a arm blade and a chain hammer and a woman with curved horns at her head and armed with a staff and two swords as a alternative weapons they bowed down to not only their master, but to their father.
"Have you opened it yet Maw?" As Thanos finished asking his question the maw finished opening up the orb with his sorcery and begins to levitate the stone with his magic as he slowly bowed down to his father and master. "My humble personage bows before your grandeur. No other being has ever had the might, nay the nobility, to wield in his hand the infinity stone. Power now lies in front of you." As Thanos puts his sword away he reaches out his right hand to grab the stone, ebony maw let his magic go and lets the stone make contact with the mad titans hand. In a instant pain and a constant growing in power was all Thanos felt before he can put the stone in the gauntlet.
Yet he battled through the pain and started to move his left hand where the gauntlet is at. The stone began to slowly move out from Thanos right hand before it connects to the gauntlet as a surge of power finally began to as a pulse of power came through. Thanos looked down on the gauntlet where the power stone is and saw the stone glowing in front of him. "The next stone is on Asgard. Odin no longer is alive to challenge me anymore. Ready our forces we move there to collect it." As his children bow down in unison a fourth one enters the room where the others are. Several Sakaarans soldiers came in behind him along with the Chitauri and Outriders. "My lord, we rounded up the remaining civilians across the world and split them in half. I await your order to balance this world." As Corvus Glave ready for his fathers will, Thanos himself for the brief moment considered just destroying the planet for not only robbing him of this great prize but also for what his former ally tried to do. Despite the violence that Thanos had done and will do isn't personal, nor fueled by vengeance as many would think of him as. Instead he only desire the stones to simply "save" the universe of overpopulation and draining the limited resources that the universe has. He also doesn't want any more worlds to suffer what he had to go through on his home where he's the last of his race. "Do it. Once it's done have our forces pull back and make ready to leave. It's time to pay a certain trickster a visit."
"My master, Does the so called "god of lies" rule Asgard in his place? Surely with the army he has in his command it will be a bloody and might I add a costly one." Said the Maw. "Asgard stands no more. It's people driven away due to Odin first born unleashing Ragnarok. The god of thunder now has the tesseract with him though now in a space ship and all of his great protectors are no more. His troops personal guards all gone, and more importantly Mjolnir is destroyed. All he has left is his brother and his people protecting the stone." Said the Mad Titan. With a simple hand jester The Maw ordered his brother Corvus to have half of the population gone, yet safe the other half to regrow and not be in the situation as their father was in.
Once everyone was back on board Sanctuary 2 along with an entire armada of Chitauri command ships he walked over to the bridge of his ship to begin the hunt for the space stone. "Status report?" Said thanos as he sat on his floating chair [the same chair from the first guardians of the galaxy movie]. "All of our forces are accounted, and we're beginning to track the stones energy signature." Said Proxima Midnight. "All of the stones have Gamma radiation that will occasionally leak out from time to time. Weather it was over use or the welder using it recently. Though also make sure you double check the initial signature, because there's only one other that can emit Gamma radiation, and he was last spotted in Sakaar." Said Thanos as he begins to move the chair away from the view point of the bridge he notice one of the scanners is going off from his chair. He pulls up the information regarding it and saw something was building up a lot of energy several miles away from his ship and his fleet. Ebony Maw was also with him as he began to use both is sorcery and his deep understanding of science to figure out what's going on with these energy signature. "Sire it not Gamma radiation but something else. It appears to be gathering strength and…" before he could finish his theory a portal started to form not far from his fleet. At first it started out the size of a small truck, then it grew to a size of a aircraft carrier, then to a size of the Empire State Building, finally to the size of a small moon in a span of three minutes. It then starts to pull the fleet into the portal as Thanos and his top commanders and his children try to avoid it. "Reverse our current course!" Said Thanos As he used the space stone to enhance the engines power. "That portal is pulling us in with stronger force now, and from the looks of things it's artificial. Who ever created this portal must be on the other side." Thanos pondered for a moment as to what or who would want to face his entire legion or himself. He also wondered if this unknown being could have a use for him or information.
"Continue our current course and divert power to engines, life support and shields. Whoever open this portal up clearly has some interest in our crusade to tip the cosmic scale back to balance." Once he issued his command the rest of the fleet obeyed his will, though most had some small traces of fear coming out from them. Regardless of the feeling is, once Sanctuary 2 first entered the portal a white flash blinds them for a moment and then as it showed it vanished.
Thanos was the first to recover from the brief moment of blindness but what he saw next was something he heard from some religious people from a ancient planet during his early years of blood, violence and slaughter. A planet that looked like the living embodiment of death of despair, a world that was for a lack of better terms a living Apocalypse. As he gathered his thoughts the Maw also saw the hellish world and began to wonder if they had died and now facing the sins and judgment of their so called crusade. He began to pull up any information that he can to bring to his father and master. After a couple of minutes of digging he began to present Thanos with little information about this place. "Sire, it appears that not only have we traveled to another universe, but also we traveled back into the past. More precisely the year 2016!" Said the Maw who in his entire time spent with Thanos and his siblings, this is the first that he didn't have a proper answer or logical one to give to his lord. "Impossible!" Said Thanos with confusion and some anger onto his word. "Sire there's more, the planet that we're seeing is also has life but not in a traditional way. Countless beings either working or being transformed into something else. All I've so far been able to decipher is two words." As Corvus began to pull up the alien text from the planet and putting up words that closely relate to the two words. Once it was done it translated into more of a praise to this planets supposed ruler or god or a war cry. Thanos was first to notice this and promptly said those two words as more of a sign of respect and to answer who brought them to this strange hell world: "For Darkseid!"
And that's a wrap for this introduction of this story. This took longer to write due to the amount of work I've been getting but thankfully I have some time off to start working on my old works plus create new ones.
