Caroline was fighting the flu when the twins were 6 – months old and everyone was over helping with Ken, much to Caroline's dismay but she loved it. Her family meant everything to her.
Perry was trying to give Caroline her cough medicine but her coughing made it hard, then Robert began screaming his head off as Sarah gathered him in her arms,
"What's the matter Robby?" She cooed softly as Robert calmed down a little bit as Ken smiled looking at the scene,
"He likes you a lot, Sarah." Sarah smiled as Robert fell asleep in her arms as they heard baby Paul's coos from the nursery as Ken gathered baby Paul in his arms as baby Paul smiled brightly at his Daddy. Perry walked out with a sigh,
"I think this is the worst flu Caroline's ever had." Della sighed; she knew that Caroline had an aptitude to have the flu at any time of the year, not just during the prescribed season.
"I never had the flu at all growing up. Neither did you Perry. I don't know where she got that."
All of a sudden baby Paul began crying as Della took him in her arms and one of the two warmed bottles and began to feed him while humming softly as Sarah began to feed Robert with a smile.
Brenda, Peyton, and Ken were keeping an eye on Caroline as she slept. Alexandra, Gertie, Helen, and the boys were working at Alexandra's house making homecooked meals for Caroline and the family at her house. Danica had Emma and Leanna at her and Isaiah's place to make sure that Emma and Leanna didn't get sick.
Once the twins were put down for a nap after they ate,
"Ken?" Caroline asked as they looked up seeing her using the doorframe as her support as Della rushed to Caroline's side and said seriously,
"Bed. Now." Caroline shook her head but as she took her next step, her knees out as Ken rushed to get Perry as he got Caroline to the couch as Caroline breathed shallowly,
"How are the boys?" Perry smiled softly as Ken nodded,
"No signs of sickness." Caroline smiled softly as she reclined against Perry as she fell back to sleep as the rest of the family worked to get her better while helping with the twins.
