Now that both Emilia and puck were dead and a frozen wasteland called the slums killing more, Subaru vows to destroy powerful monsters like puck in the future.

Subaru wakes up after saving Rem, Beatrice tells him he is cursed and finds out Rem is gone. Subaru realizes he has to reloop without waiting for Beatrice to finish telling him that he can live, Subaru runs off to the cliff and commits suicide.
