The Flash Reborn
Naruto in this story will be similar to Minato but with a twist. He will have wood release. I personally think he should have had it in the original series because if he is a reincarnation of Ashura and Hashirama had it as well. That should mean he should as well so in this story it will fix that. Also as for pairings it will not be naruhina. It will be Naruto x Ino unless someone had a better idea I just know I don't want naruhina I am still open on any other that yall can come up with
Chapter 1 A New Hope
As we start this tale of the legend that united all the lands under the banner of hope and peace. We must start with how it began with a young boy running away from a mob of villagers angry over something that boy could not understand. That boys name is Naruto Uzumaki and he like many kids of this era was an orphan, but unlike other kids this boy is hated by many in the village that he lived in. He was running because today was the day that the nine tales was defeated by the fourth hokage and his birthday. As he was running trying to get away he turned in a dead end ally where he was surrounded and scared.
Naruto- please leave me alone I did not do anything wrong
Random villager- You killed my wife you demon. You need to die
The villagers started to ignore his please and one with a knife charged at Naruto about to stab him. Naruto falls and puts his hands in front of him with eyes closed trying to protect himself. When a miracle happens the ground starts to rumble and wood shoots out to protect him hitting the man that was charging him. The rest of the mob stood shocked not knowing what had happened. As this was happing the boy still in a ball crying wanting this to stop and to his relief help had arrived will the villagers in dumb stuck on what happened. It had given the anbu enough time to find Naruto on lord thirds orders knowing what today was. The two anbu that arrived to help the boy where his most trusted anbu. They were weasel and dog. Dog went and grabbed Naruto and seen the wood sticking out of the ground and wondered what it was while weasel went and arrested and killed the citizens that tried to fight back. After that was done dog and weasel regrouped with one another.
Weasel- The villagers are delt with how is the boy
Dog- He is okay just looks like minor scratches and cuts I knocked the boy out so he did not need to see what you had to do.
Weasel-Good he is to young to have to see that. What is that wood sticking out of the ground? It looks like the boy created it to defined himself.
Dog-I do not know we will have to ask the hokage about this
After the conversation both anbu took Naruto to the lord third. They shunshin into the hokage office Dog laid the boy on the couch and knelt in front of lord third.
Hiruzen- Report
Dog- sir we found him and delt with the villagers that were attacking him. Most where arrested and sent to interrogation and waiting on your verdict the rest were killed.
Hiruzen- thank you dog and weasel you may leave.
Weasel left leaving dog and the hokage in his office. Dog wanted to talk with him about a thing he had seen and a request he had.
Dog-I have something else to report along with a request hokage sama
Hiruzen- speak
Dog- Hokage sama when I came upon the Naruto I found him in a ball with a wood pillar in front of him. It was unnatural in nature and look like Yamato's wood style but I don't know how he could have it.
The old man became deep in thought trying to figure out what he had seen could be what dog thought is would be. He then decided to pull chakra paper out of his desk and used it on Naruto causing the paper to become drenched on one side and turn to dust on the other( before you say that he could not do that because he was not awake he used special paper that would draw out the person chakra that they held not needing to push it though). Hiruzen began to be deep in thought. How could Naruto have wood style his father was not a senju and his mother was not either so how the old man thought.
Hiruzen- It aspires that what you seen is what you think Kakashi. The boy possesses wood release and to be able to use it in a way without hand signs means its on the level of the first.
Dog- but how his father and mother where not senju. While his mother was a Uzumaki being closely related to the senju clan that would be a stretch. Could it be the kyubi?
Hiruzen- I do not think so Kushina nor Mito possessed the ability after having the beast sealed in them. This must be natural from the boy. This makes things even more complicated about what to do about the boy. I just hope Danzo or any other village hears about this he will need more protection.
Dog- if I may hokage sama I may have a solution to that and it aligns with the request I have. I wish to adopt the Naruto. He would have someone to teach him and protect him. I also wanted to protect my sensei's legacy.
Hiruzen-if I let you do this you will no longer be able to be in the anbu you would be relegated to a jonin and off high-risk missions for a while.
Dog-If that is what it takes to raise and protect Minato sensei's child, I would give up a lot more.
Hiruzen- very well I will let you adopt the boy tomorrow. I will let Jiraiya know about what is happening. You may remove your mask Kakashi and come back tomorrow to pick him up.
The now named Kakashi bowed and left happy that he was finally able to help the only family he has left. While the old Hokage to a few puffs of his pipe hoping he made the right choice, and that Minato would approve of. What the two men did not know was that Naruto was awake and herd some of what they said. "the old man new who my father was and his name in Minato and his mother was Kushina" Naruto thought. But what was the worst thing is that the kyubi is sealed inside of him but how the boy thought. "I thought the beast was killed by the fourth hokage, is that why the villagers hate me and some try to kill me?" So many things were running though the boys head not knowing what was going on till he overheard that he was going to be adopted by one of the people that saved him. Everything else in his mind went on the back burner as he was finally going to have a home and a family. This made to boy happy and went back to sleep with those thoughts. Tomorrow would start a brighter future for the boy.

Chapter 2 Family
It is early morning in the village hidden in the leaves. We find ourselves with a eight year old blond boy named Naruto Uzumaki. He is laying in a training field panting after a long day of training. It has been three years since Kakashi has adopted him and his life had been much brighter and full of love compared to his old life. He still remembers the day it all happened.
Flashback 3 years ago
Naruto awoke in the hokage office, and it was early in the morning his guess being around 7. He looked around to find his gege at his desk doing the thing that he hated the most that being the true demon paperwork. Naruto sat up and said "morning gege". The old man looked to see the young boy sitting up whipping the sleep from his eyes. This put a smile on the old mans face and he said, "morning Naruto-kun did you sleep well I have a surprise for you". At the mention of surprise, the young Naruto fully awoke happy that he would be getting something. Trying to think of what it was reminded him of what he heard last night. Naruto then asked "is it that I'm getting adopted? I heard something last knight about the anbu waiting to adopt me". This shocked Hiruzen hoping he did not hear about the kyubi or about his father because if it is known that his father was the fourth hokage he believed assassins from iwa would come after the boy. "Is that all you heard last night?" Hiruzen said. Naruto did not want to tell him he new that his fathers name was Minato because he did not know who he was but he did know that the old man had reason from keeping it from him so he would not push it but research in on his own time. So, he responded with "only about how the kyubi is sealed inside of me. Dose that make me the kyubi and is that why they hate me so much?". This caused Hiruzen to get up and walk to the boy that had tears in his eyes he was revealed that he did not know about his parents but sad he could not hide the truth of the reason most people hated him for something the boy could not control. These people cannot tell the difference from the being that was sealed and its unfortunate jailer. "Unfortunately, Naruto that is the reason they hate you but know this you are not that beast. You should be considered a hero to this village for stopping the beast from hurting more people. Never think that you are it because the people have lost there way from what the fourth hokage wanted for you. Minato told me after he sealed it he wanted you to be a hero to the people" Hiruzen said. Unbeknownst to him he just connected the dots for the young boy as he looked up at the picture of the fourth hokage his father.
After that Kakashi appeared in a swirl of leaves happy to see the Naruto awake but confused as to why he was crying and looking at the picture of his sensei. "Hokage-sama I am here to pick up the Naruto. Why is he crying" Kakashi asked? Hiruzen lit his pipe and said " Naruto overheard us last night talking about the kyubi being sealed in him so I told him that he was a hero and that is what the fourth hokage wanted him to be". Kakashi was sad that he had to learn of the kyubi as so young and this way but it could not be helped. While he was in thought Naruto as he was continuing to look at his father's picture made a vow he wanted to be like his father and live up to his expectations to protect the village like he did. "Gege I wish to be a shinobi so I can live up to what the fourth hokage wanted and protect the people of this village. While they hate me now, I will prove to them that I am not evil and show them that he was right to choose me for this mission". This surprised both of them while Hiruzen just smiled Kakashi looked in respect and thought that his sensei would be proud of what he had just said.
Flashback end
As the now eight-year-old boy looked up he seen his adopted father come up to him proud eye smile on his face behind his mask that he wore. Since his declaration to them he has been training with Kakashi when he was not on missions. He was practicing his hummingbird taijutsu style that his father used and was his reason for wanted to use it so he could be like his dad. The fourth would be proud of how quick you are mastering his style Kakashi said. Naruto hearing this responded with "I hope so he is my hero who I want to be like" with the biggest grin on his face. Kakashi eye smile back at the boy and said, "you will get there but if you want to be like him you will need to master the sealing arts like he did you know". Naruto looked at him with a pout on his face saying "I know that Kakashi-niisan but I want to master this and chakra control first. It would be like running in two different directions at one time unless you have a way to do that. Kakashi then began to think about how what he said was true but then came up with an idea to do just that. "I have a jutsu to do just that how about I teach it to you" Kakashi said. This made Naruto jump up happy that he would be finally taught a jutsu and apparently this would help with his training. "Yesssss niisan please teach it to me" Naruto said jumping up and down happy. Kakashi looked at him and thought this boy is already like a sponge learning everything he could get is hands on. He already had near perfect chakra control even with how large his reserves are, and his fighting style is as good as it can be till he gets a little faster and bigger not to mention the fact the he already has learned the basic academy jutsu in a week mastering them in a month. So when he leans this and with his large reserves he will surpass his father in no time. "The jutsu I am going to teach you is called the shadow clone jutsu and what makes it special is that is a solid clone that when dispelled the knowledge would be shared with the user. Be warned though this is an A rank jutsu because of the chakra requirements for this that it could harm you if you don't have the chakra or the control to make them but seeing you, I think its perfect for you" Kakashi said. Kakashi then showed him the hand signs to the technique. After he showed him, Naruto then preformed the hand signs and said "Shadow clone jutsu" after that 50 clones appaired into existence. This surprised the jonin as he thought he could make maybe 10 but no he made 50 and he not even sweet. Just how much chakra does he have Kakashi thought. The third Hokage who was watching in the crystal ball to see the boys progress fell over seeing how many clones he made not believing his eyes. "Good job Naruto now here are some books on the sealing arts you can have some of your clones read while you and your other clones practice other things, but I would limit it to 2 reading and 8 with you because to many right now could cause you a lot of pain when they disperse" Kakashi said to Naruto. "Okay niisan thank you so much. Alright clones lets begin" Naruto said as his clones started to work while the rest dispersed listing to Kakashis warning. The said ninja then left to go speak with the hokage about Naruto and his training.
Kakashi appeared in a swirl of leaves in front of Hiruzen. Hiruzen looked at Kakashi and said "It appears that young Naruto had grown strong under you care. He may surpass all the hokage when he learns to master his other abilities". As the old hokage took a puff of his pipe Kakashi nodded in agreement with him. "I wish to maybe take him on some lower ranked missions with me so he could get some field experience and it would help me keep an eye on him" said Kakashi. This brought the hokage deep in thought about what to do. On one had it would help the boy learned about the life of a shinobi, but he was only eight years old. In the end he said " Verry well but the highest ranked mission he can go on with you is low b ranked missions and that is if you have another person with you understood". " Yes hokage-sama" said Kakashi. He was happy he could spend more time with him and maybe could bring him up to be a strong shinobi.
While all this was happening, Naruto decided to stop training for today since he was tired after all he had done. His nisan was right about the shadow clones could help him. After they dispelled, he gained all the knowledge that the two that where reading sealing arts where and found out that he had a knack for it. He had known why because it was in his blood his father was a Master of It after all he thought. As he was walking, he walked by a playground and seen other kids his age playing around having fun. He was about to leave when he heard someone say leave her alone. He quickly looked around to see what was happening and what he seen was the pretty blond girl standing in front of a crying pink haired girl while some boys in front of them where messing with them. This struck a nerve in him thinking on all the times he was bullied and did not like how the strong bullied the week. It was the strong job to protect those who could not protect themselves. So he decided to intervene when a punch was about to hit the blond girl and she closed her eyes waiting on the impact that never came. She opened her eyes to see another boy with blond hair she had not seen before holding the bullies arm stopping the punch. "You should not hurt innocent girls" Naruto said. The other boy pulled back his arm and said that he should mind his own business, or he would get hurt. Another said don't be a hero boy we are in the academy to be ninja. This did not faze Naruto as he stood in front of the girls to protect them. He looked back and said "don't worry I won't let them hurt you" with the brightest smile you could see. This brough on a blush from the blond girl. Naruto then slipped into his fighting stance ready for the boys the attack. One of the boys charged at he throwing a wide right punch in the basic academy style taijustsu. Naruto moved under the coming punch and launched fast and strong hitting jabs at the boy ending in a upper up knocking the boy out in no time flat he had hit him 10 times before the others could tell what happened. The other boys ran in fear of the blond boy not knowing how he did that and to tell their parents. Naruto then turned around and said "are you okay blondie" with a smile trying to be funny. The bond girl responded with huff "the names not blondie its Ino and if anyone in blondie its you". Naruto then responded " how rude off me my name is Naruto hope they did not hurt you did they princess" he smiled at her.
