I took inspiration from the Halloween quests and story on Grand Cross, the Seven Deadly Sins' gatcha game!
I wrote this little thing (sadly I didn't have much time for a more elaborated story!) for an early Halloween, and to celebrate my 1 year writing about Merlin and Escanor! I published my first fic on the 28th of October last year… wow! It has already been one whole year! :O
I'm so grateful to have found the courage to begin writing about them! For that I have to thank Bertaz first, because she gave me the push that I needed to leave my shyness behind and dive right into these new and unknown waters! Thank you so much girl! 3
Along this journey I met so many people and was helped and inspired by them! We talked, and discussed, and cried, and got angry, about our dear Escalin ship!
I'm so grateful to everyone that has ever read, followed, liked and/or reviewed my fics! You were always able to put a smile on my face!
I won't list all of you because I'm sure that I would forget someone at the moment "^^ but I have all of you in my heart! 3
I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart!
THANK YOU! 3
A LITTLE HALLOWEEN ADVENTURE
"M-m-miss Merlin! You d-d-don't have to…"
"Hush Escanor, and stay still! We can't have you not attending the festival."
"I c-c-can attend in my u-usual clothes!"
"No, no, dear Escanor. You couldn't enjoy the festivities to the fullest any other way, so you have to dress up accordingly."
"...m-must you be t-t-the one to d-dress me u-up?!"
The Mage chuckled in amusement and gave him a mischievous smile, her eyes glinting.
"Of course, you gave me no other choice."
She was enjoying teasing him too much.
The poor Lion sighed in defeat and let her do as she pleased without further arguments.
Arthur had invited the Sins to celebrate Halloween at Camelot, he had prepared a great festival that would last three days, and was very proud of this achievement.
Everyone had to be dressed up like some kind of monster or something that had to do with them, but Escanor had been too shy and embarrassed to come up with anything, leaving it to Merlin to find something for him to dress up into.
"There, it's done. You look handsome."
She seemed quite pleased with her work.
The Lion looked himself in the room's mirror and couldn't help but grimace a little: she had dressed him as a demon butler (*coff coff* Kuroshitsuji *coff coff* Sebastian *coff coff*) so he was wearing some normal formal clothes and white gloves, with the addition of a pair of black bat wings, a black tail, and two black horns on his head. It could have been worse, but he couldn't really call himself 'handsome'.
"I-if you say so.."
He wasn't too sure, but she seemed happy with it.
"Of course I say so! You can be my demon butler."
She said that with a lascivious smirk, winking seductively, and making him blush all the way to his neck.
She was dressed like some kind of devil, some very, very sexy kind of devil, if he had to be honest: she was all in red, red horns, red bat wings, red twintails, one red boot that stopped just above her knee and the rest of the leg was 'covered' in a fishnet stocking, the other feet had on a red high heel, and a see-through stocking that stopped at her mid tight, red very short shorts with a belt with a heart on it, see-through gloves from her high arms to her wrists, linked to her middle fingers, and a red top that barely covered only her breasts and that formed a little cape on the back, and with a pale heart sketched on her left breast.
Escanor didn't know if he was meant to stare or not.
"Y-you're a...uhm...b-b-beautiful devil."
He managed to say that, blushing furiously and looking shyly away.
Merlin chuckled again.
"Oh but I'm not just any devil, my dear Escanor…"
She leaned to the side to catch his gaze.
"...I'm a succubus."
She gave him a flirty wink, and chuckled again at his gobsmacked expression.
"Come on, or we'll be late!"
She took his hand and almost dragged him to where the others were waiting for them.
The other Sins had taken very seriously the dress code: Meliodas was a vampire, Elizabeth was dressed as an exorcist's nun, Ban was Frankenstein, Gowther was a black cat, Diane had dressed as a werewolf, and King was the pumpkins' lord.
They reunited with their fellow companions and began walking around the town centre to participate in some games and to eat the delicious sweets.
Escanor found himself having fun and enjoying the day with everyone, they were also able to see Arthur a couple of times, and to talk to him, but he was very busy monitoring the festival so he didn't have much time to stay and chat with them.
In the evening they noticed that the people were beginning to go back home, and they found it strange, until the young king explained to them that it was an old tradition to lock themselves in the night of Halloween, so that the spirits wouldn't come inside the houses, attracted by the people, and torment the living.
The Sins were on their way to the castle when they suddenly spotted some ghosts flying around, and other strange creatures. They decided to make sure that nothing suspicious was going on, splitting in two groups to investigate from where all these monsters came from and to subdue the most dangerous ones.
Merlin, Escanor and Gowther were searching for the root of the problem, finding out that a group of mages were casting some very nefarious spells, calling the spirits and attracting the other creatures. They confronted them immediately, but the mages took them by surprise, casting a spell towards them, it would have hit Escanor but Merlin put herself in front of him, taking the hit in his stead.
For a moment it seemed like the magic hadn't had any effect on the raven haired woman, but when she turned towards the Lion, he could see that something was wrong: her pupils were dilated, her cheeks were flushed, her breathing was irregular and she was looking at him as if he was her favorite prey.
"M-M-Merlin?...!"
He was only able to say her name before she all but jumped on him, making him fall and landing on top of him.
"Perfect. Escanor, take care of Merlin, I'll take care of these mages."
Easy for Gowther to say!
The Lion looked at the woman on top of him, she seemed even more flushed and was breathing even harder, the look in her eyes had him blushing all the way to his neck and more.
"Merlin…"
He tried again, but was interrupted by a moan from her that silenced him immediately.
"Escanor... you look...very...delectable…"
Her voice was deeply sensuous, and she was licking her plump lips. He could just barely swallow.
She moaned again and began rubbing her body against him, while her hands began travelling everywhere.
"M-M-M-M-MERLIN!"
He was trying to stop her, grabbing her upper arms, but at the contact she just moaned more, and a lascivious smile sprouted on her lips.
"Oh Escanor… don't be... afraid… I just want to... Eat. You. Up."
The last words were whispered directly in his ear, punctuating every word by a kiss or a lick on his jaw or neck, finishing with a little bite on his earlobe, where she then sucked on it.
He could only shiver at her ministrations, swallowing hard trying to focus.
She wasn't herself! He had to remember that she was under some kind of spell!
The way she was moving against him, her body pressed to his, wasn't really helping his situation, instead it was making it harder, way, way harder..!
He forced himself to not think about all that, trying to limit her movements as much as he could.
It was a very difficult thing to do!
"I subdued the mages."
He had never been happier to hear Gowther's voice.
"G-good! N-now we have to d-do something about MERLIN!"
He practically shrieked her name, grabbing her travelling hands and trying to stop her from rubbing herself against him.
"I found out that the spell will end on its own once the person acts all the way like the monster of its costume."
The Goat went on explaining, placidly as always.
Escanor felt a chill along his back, realizing that Merlin was acting like a succubus, and to act like one all the way would mean…!
"G-G-Gowther! We c-can't let her d-do that! P-p-please, do SOMETHING!"
This time he shrieked from a bite on a sensitive part of his neck, followed by a long lick of a tongue.
She seemed to be enjoying herself and he would lie if he said that he wasn't... but it wasn't right!
Gowther tilted his head on the side, mousing about the situation for a moment.
"Okay, I'll try to turn her back to normal."
Escanor saw him getting into position.
Wait… right now?!
"G-G-Gowther! Wait…!"
"Sense Opener!"
As soon as the light arrow hit the Mage, she immediately stilled. The Lion couldn't see her face because she had it still pressed to his neck.
He waited a few seconds, but she wasn't moving, and he was beginning to worry.
"Merlin?"
He could feel her shiver, and then slowly she sat up, her hands on his chest and her legs on either side of his hips; she was looking down at him as if she had just woken up from a strange dream and was still trying to make sense of it.
"Merlin, a-are you alright?"
He still had his hands on her upper arms, and squeezed lightly, trying to take her back to the present and give her some form of comfort.
"...uhm…"
She seemed quite out of it, but quickly shook her head and her eyes became more focused.
"I'm… fine."
She was a bit unsure, but at least she was herself again.
"Mission accomplished."
Gowther made a triumphant pose.
The Lion was still looking at the Boar, making sure that she was really alright, while she was looking away from him.
Was it him or were her cheeks a little red?
Finally she looked back at him with a little embarrassed smile.
"I'm sorry Escanor."
"D-don't worry, i-it wasn't your f-fault, you w-weren't yourself!"
She looked to the side with a mysterious smile that he couldn't decipher, and then raised up, then helped him too, and he thanked her, smiling.
With the mages neutralized, the spirits and creatures were easily disposed of, but all these clean up took the better part of the night, and when finally the Sins came back to the guest room in the palace, it was almost sunrise. The women were given the three beds in the spacious room, while the men lay themselves on the floor, and Escanor decided to rest beside Merlin's bed, as if guarding her.
When Arthur went to wake them up a few hours later, the Sins were deep in slumber. The young king was amused by that, seeing them sprawled all around the room, but when he noticed his mentor and the big man resting beside her on the floor, immediately his smile turned mischievous, and an idea plopped in his head.
They were both laying on their sides, facing towards the other, the Mage wad on the edge of the bed towards him, they seemed almost to be sleeping as near as possible to the other; maybe it was unconscious for them, but Arthur thought that all the more they needed a little 'push' then.
With great effort he managed to wake King just enough so that he could convince his sleep deprived mind to help him, using Chaestifold they managed to lift up Escanor's growing body, and to deposit it on the bed beside Merlin, facing her.
He was the safer choice, the young king knew, from the stories that Merlin had told him, that he was a very heavy sleeper, while she, although very exhausted, was surely more guarded than him.
After their accomplishment, Arthur thanked the sleep-flying Sin, who probably was thinking to be dreaming, and convinced him to go to sleep again.
Turning again towards the other two Sins he was left surprised and grinning like a fool by what he saw: it seemed that the Mage had unconsciously felt his presence behind her, had rolled around to face him, and had instinctively curled up against his chest, soughting out the warmth of his body; he, on his part, had all but circled her body with his arm, effectively embracing her against him.
Arthur didn't know if to laugh or roll his eyes at the cute but amusing scene.
How was it possible that their subconsciouses acted more sensibly than their wakeful sides?!
They should take the hints!
In the end he decided to let the Sins sleep for a few hours more, but he absolutely wanted to be there to see their reactions when the Boar and the Lion would wake..!
He was sure to be teasing them, especially Merlin, for a long while about that!
"Those two really need to make a move soon!"
And that's it! :D
