Welcome one and all to the newest entry into my long running Intros series! This is one I've been waiting to do for a long time, but since I have made a personal rule in my update sessions forbidding the same franchise from appearing twice in a series of 5 stories, I had to sort of detox from the series with a few other stories. But now, we're back, in one of the most iconic fighting game franchises of all time. We're back, in MORTAL KOMBAT!
That's right, Mortal Kombat 11 is finally getting the Intros series treatment. But this time, I'm going to do things a little differently. Since this is the 6th entry in this series, with at least two more that aren't sequels to existing ones in the works in the background, and that's all I'll say for sure at this point, I need to mix up the formula. So we're bringing back the grouping system from the Injustice and MCU Intros, though it won't be by faction or into Hero and Villain packs. Rather I'm going to group certain characters together based on a commonality. More on that in the next chapter.
As well, I'm going to mix up how I handle DLC to these games. Normally, I throw them all in at the end, but this time, it's going to change up. This time, all DLC characters who are part of the Mortal Kombat Universe: Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, Fujin, and Sheeva; will be scattered through the chapters where they make the most sense. And then all the guest DLC characters: The Terminator, Spawn, Joker, and Robocop; will be put in at the end of the characters but before the usual endings to these sorts of stories. Got to mix things up every now and again
