Gorm.
Such a beautiful island, full of gorgeous flora, embraced by life-giving waters…
This is where Gormiti live. Truly magnificent creatures, whose powers can tremble the grounds and make the winds gust...
However, not all places of Gorm are safe, and not all Gormiti are friendly…
A volcano is a good example of that. Filled with ancient evil magic, in a shape of a screaming face… You could feel that there was something wrong with this place.
Inside of it, there was a Gormita. A very twisted, terrifying Gormita.
His tremendous, muscular body was in colors of magma and fire. His eyes – orange, burning with hatred. His teeth – big, sharp, in a dark shade of gray. His tail – incredibly strong, capable of knocking out even the toughest of enemies…
Magmion.
He seemed to be busy however, preparing something in hurry.
"I hope it does work," he muttered, as he looked at an object that he was holding sturdily in his hand. It was a plugged dark purple glass bottle, a pretty one, with a slim neck and a round body. It didn't appear to be very fragile, as Magmion's huge hand held it without it breaking.
Magmion then proceeded to seek for important things. The things that he needed for the ritual…
Oh, Lords of Nature will be in lot of trouble…
And that was a thought he liked.
Meanwhile in a small American city called Venture Falls, the day was warm, but a little windy. In a white house with blue accents and a blueish gray rooftop, two teenagers had to deal with learning for a test.
"Why Ms. Marlow has to always ruin our weekends?!" a White blonde boy with blue eyes and a funky hairstyle said in a really annoyed tone. "Like, we don't need to test our math skills every Monday!"
"Toby, this is high school," his younger brother answered, correcting his glasses. "You have to learn in order to go to college and have a—"
"I don't need any math equations in my life, Nick. All I need is video games and my bed. Who needs more?"
Nick just shook his head in disappointment. Toby was so… simple-minded. A little too much for his own liking.
Suddenly, they heard a knock. Interested in finding out who was knocking, the brothers stood up and went to open the door for their guest.
Or maybe two. Because it was their friends, Jessica and Lucas.
"Who's ready to learn some math?" Jessica pointed her finger at Toby and Nick, her voice so happy and full of energy as ever.
"I have some cake," Lucas stated, showing a white paper box with a handle as a proof.
The brothers just looked at each other, and smiling, they let their friends in.
"We did it boys!" Jessica cheered, holding a bunch of paper in the air. "All the review exercises done!"
The team gave each other a high five.
"So, what are we going to do now?" Toby asked, munching the last piece of the chocolate cake.
The silence filled the room. It was awkward for them, to say at least.
Finally, Lucas broke the silence.
"We have some time, so… maybe we should talk about something? I mean, we didn't really have time to, you know, talk a lot…" He smiled, but it wasn't a smile of happiness. More like, a smile filled with sorrow. His friends looked at his, their faces in a grimace of sadness.
They perfectly understood him. The high school life engrossed them a lot. They didn't have that much time to meet up like before…
"So, who will start?" Lucas asked, and a group cheered up a bit. They had a lot to say.
"Well, me and my team scored 3-2 against Feliciatown," Toby enthusiastically stated. "And I was the one to score the final goal!" He proudly announced his victory.
"Our history club was finally allowed to visit excavations as our school trip." Nick joined the conversation. "We has been waiting for this decision since the end of the previous school year, can you believe it?!" He was a little angry.
"Gina and I are working for charity," Jessica started talking. "We are collecting money for a local pet shelter."
"Forest Friends Association is going to plant some trees next week." It was Lucas' turn. "The mayor is going to help us. It's so nice of him." Lucas was visibly pleased by this information.
"But Lucas," Toby was confused, "every person is nice for you if they are doing all this ecological stuff!"
"Well, that's my nature after all!"
The friends laughed together at Lucas' pun. The laugh was loud enough to fill the whole living room with kindness and carelessness of their voices.
It was during this lovely moment that Toby realized something, and stopped laughing. Something not funny at all. They needed to talk about one thing. A thing that was really important, essential even.
"All that high school stuff is nice etc., but we need to address something." The rest of laughs stopped. Toby looked at his brother in all seriousness.
"Nick, what about the orbs?"
Lucas and Jessica looked at Toby in concern, then at Nick, as he took his bag and tipped its content onto the table. The group saw four colorful spheres made out of glass-like material, with white symbols on them, roll. They were visibly damaged, as you could easily see cracks in their structure.
"I tried to purify them in a sacred Gormiti spring, but it didn't work. Like all the other tries." His voice was downhearted.
"At least you tried." Jessica tried to cheer him up.
"Besides," Lucas said, "we don't need orbs for now. "Gorm is safe. At least for now."
The atmosphere became quite heavy, so Toby decided to step up. After all he was the clown of the group.
"So, how about listening to some music?" he said with a cheerful tone in his voice, smiling, and turned up the radio. However, instead of some fresh tunes, the radio was broadcasting breaking news. A masculine voice was reporting on a sudden cyclone that was roaming on the Atlantic Ocean. The group closely listened to the broadcast.
This situation reminded them of every time something bad happened on Gorm. And every time something bad happened on Gorm, it happened on Earth too. The only problem – why it didn't start in Venture Falls? Their city was always the first place to be a victim of the cataclysms that problems Gorm caused…
And made them worried a lot more.
"It's pretty weird that a cyclone suddenly appeared, isn't it?"
"Definitely, but you don't know the whole truth…" A high-pitched voice was heard by them.
The voice was very, very familiar…
They turned their heads around to see a small green lizard-like reptile with a long tail standing on a red couch.
"Razzle!" Toby was overjoyed to see his cold-blooded friend. In fact, the whole group was.
"We haven't seen you in a while," added Nick.
"Nice to see you too," answered Razzle, his voice showing his appreciation of the meeting. "However, I have a terrible news." His tone suddenly became serious.
"There's trouble on Gorm?" Jessica asked, full of concern.
"Indeed. Magmion is doing something terrible. Old Sage believes that…" Razzle paused, looking around nervously. The idea of such thing happening couldn't pass through his mouth.
Eight eyes locked on him, awaiting the answer nervously. They had to know. They had to know everything. The Gorm is in danger, the Earth is in danger! They had to take care of it quickly before it will destroy both worlds!
After all, it was their duty, their destiny to do that...
Razzle gulped, and finally spoke,
"…that Magmion is trying to bring back Magor and Obscurio to Gorm."
