AN:This takes place/starts in the second summer
Chapter 1:
"See you later dudes." Wendy said as she walked out the door of the myseryshack's gift shop.
"By Wendy!" Dipper yelled, so she could hear it on the other side of the door. Dipper walked out of the gift shop and into the shack's living room.
"Heya Dipper.", Soos said, who was sitting on the recliner.
"Hey Soos, has Melody arrived yet?"
"No, she's coming tomorrow, she's probably going to start driving soon, or is she taking a plane? I can never remember."
Dipper sat on the ground next to the chair. "How long has it been since you saw her?"
"Oh I don't even know, it's at least been… I don't know, 2 months?"
"What are you doing for your year anniversary?"
"I'm bringing Melody to a really fancy restaurant, not as good as Hoo'ha's, but it's probably best we don't go there ever again."
"Agreed," Dipper said.
A few seconds later, Soos said, "Speaking of romancey stuff, do you like, still have a thing for Wendy?"
"You know what, I feel like I'm finally feeling like I'm getting over her." Dipper said confidently.
"Hehe, that's good." Soos said with a slight sigh.
"Soos, is there something wrong?"
"Oh, it's just that I've been thinking about it, and I actually kinda ship you two. But she doesn't like you, so I'm proud you're moving on." Soos said with a smile.
"Oh, thanks, I guess."
The next day:
Dipper and Mabel were walking through the forest.
"What are you trying to find today? A hippo with wings? Or maybe a leprechaun!" Mabel said.
"I'm not looking for anything specific. This is what you do when you're finding something to research, you have to find it first." Dipper responded.
"Oh pfff, I bet you're looking for a way to get a new voice!"
"Why would I get a new voice, nothings wROng with it" Dipper said with a voice crack. "And didn't I already do that last year?"
"I thought that was only a story"
"I thought it was real." Dipper said, now questioning what's real.
A few minutes later, they found a weird measuring tape in the middle of nowhere.\
"What is this doing here?" Dipper said as he picked it up.
"Maybe it can measure how long your life is." Mabl suggested.
Dipper turned it over, to see an upside down triangle, and a normal triangle touching on the points. "Oh! It's one of the time travel tapes. But what is it doing out here?"
"What ever happened to the time travel guy in last year's… bad thing?"
"Bill must have killed him with time baby."
"Maybe he dropped it or something."
"What should we do with it?" Dipper asked.
"I wonder if it works anymore with that big baby gone." Mabel said as she grabbed the device from Dipper.
"Mabel! What are you doing!" Dipper said as he tried to grab it back, but Mabel pulling it away.
"I'm just testing it." Mabel said as she pulled the tape a random amount and pulled it back.
"Mabel! Do-" Dipper started saying.
The twins disappeared with a flash.
AN: It was short but its just the first chapter. Next one should come out this weak, if I don't decide to be lazy.
