A/N: This deels with some adult themes, like underage rape and and teen parenthood. Again, I don't describe sex so you won't worry about this being mature to that level. But with all the Trigger Warnings, its mature for that. Also, in this fic Varian is sixteen and Cassandra is eighteen.

Prison... It led to everything. At first, he was simply uncomfortable in his cell with Andrew because the man was certainly bigger than him and could easily beat Varian up. However, Andrew didn't show any interest at the time to give him a damn moment of his time. Instead, he was there to comfort the boy when his nightmares and panic attacks occured. Call him ignorant, stupid, or inexperienced, but Varian latched onto Andrew. The terrorist, as much as the teen hated to admit it, reminding him of his father. Perhaps it was the muscles, simple red shirt and fur vest, which were similarities of Quirin.

Varian went as far as believing that Andrew only had his best intentions in mind. So when they took over Corona together with the other Saporians, Varian believed it would be a fresh start. Little did he know would things change for the worst so quickly.

Honestly, he should have seen through Andrew. The manipulation had been so obvious, but he was so quick to ignore it, that desperate for love and attention. It worked. Andrew seemed to give him affection, but it went too far. Way too far and suddenly, more than one line was crossed.

Varian's whole body went stiff as Andrew's hand traveled seductively down the boy's back. He didn't like it. It wasn't a friendly, buddy back rub. The intentions in Andrew's head was so clear just by the movements.

A shiver running up Varian's spine, he clamped his mouth shut. He learned vocalizing anything lead to things getting... well... spicey... very quickly. And right now, all he wanted was to work on his solution. So he decided to ignore it.

Being as careful as possible with his shaking hands, he began to pour a green liquid into a yellow liquid. Unable to remain steady, he spilt a little green liquid on his workspace. "Shit!" he muttered.

"You ok, buddy? That's your fifth spill..."

"Yes, just maybe a little tense," Varian replied, hoping Andrew would take that as a hint to let him be. Unfortunately, the man did not take the hint, and if he did, he deliberately ignored it.

"You're stressing yourself out. You should rest and go to bed," Andrew suggested.

Which would have sounded like heaven if Andrew gave him space. Usually, Varian purposely pulled long nights just until he outlasted Andrew to avoid sharing his bed. He wished Andrew would ask if that was what he wanted and not forced him into sex. He was beyond scarred by now, making the situation feel so much heavier.

Why couldn't he buzz off? Hell, why couldn't he let Varian even leave the castle? He was just in a larger prison and no one would save him. No one would lift a finger for criminal like him. He was sure Andrew was right, that he would be the only person to care about him now. God, why was the world so twisted and cruel? Could he not have a happy ending.

He was being foolish, he knew it. It was hard to reject Andrew when he was alone, when he had no one and no where to go. Rejection made things worse. Rejection led to Andrew giving the silent treatment until Varian was certain he'd go crazy without any other human contact. Then he'd have to beg Andrew to forgive him and then face the painful consequences of his 'actions'.

The first time had shocked Varian. He begged Andrew to talk to him and he apologized a hundred times until the man accepted. But Varian was then physically punished by Andrew for hurting his feelings. Punishments ranged beatings such as pushing, kicking, punching, slapping, and (as Varian referred to them as) butt beatings. Then Varian would heal, grow a spine, reject Andrew's wishes again and the cycle would restart. And Varian was getting extremely tired of it. He was tired of being blamed for doing wrong when it was all Andrew, but knowing this, why was he so quick to alway return to his abuser?

There was no question that Varian needed help, and he knew that. But Andrew said that he was all he'd ever had now. Varian made the choice to commit treason and, he supposed, this was the universe's sick punishment he would now live with for the rest of his life...
