Prologue: The Mission
[East north specific 10:45 PM]
This was no ordinary day, far from it.
This could've been the day the world ended, this could've been the day the world changed forever, this could've been the day where war would be the only lead for earth.
They had one shot at it, to end it all with no one even knowing that it happened.
They were going to get out of this clean and they made sure that no one would survive or live to tell the truth to the public.
Deep down into the ocean, about 2,992 metres deep, a heavily armed Submarine was about to launch their secret weapon on their target.
The submarine was full of people, or at least things and creatures that behaved like people. Various animals, objects, foods, humanoid things that didn't even resemble humans at the 1st place and much more. If someone was there, they would begin to question their sanity and their own lives, it was that crazy.
One of the creatures, resembling a giant peanut accompanied with arms and legs, with 2 deer like horns, a face that basically looked like 3 holes, 2 for the eyes and 1 for the mouth. He also wore an officer like suit with various medals and high-ranking signatures and to top it all off, he wore a small beret on top his head.
He was staring at an SDV. (Swimmer Delivery Vehicle.) which was ready to launch at any moment and he was going to be the one to give the order.
"Ready for launch in….3….2…1-"
"WAIT!"
The countdown stopped.
A small figure rose on top of the SDV, dressed in all black and wearing a diver's mask with an oxygen tank on his back.
The peanut officer along with many other bizarre creatures stared at the figure waiting to hear what he wanted to address just before they could send him off.
It must have been something important, no one would stop a countdown this important, or maybe…
"I forgot my lunch box!" The figure addressed.
Everyone, except for the figure, groaned in disappointment and frustration as they were anticipating something important that the figure wanted to say.
The peanut officer gave him a glare and then pressed the button for launch against the figures wishes.
And so off he went.
The SDV flew off with such a force that the figure could barely hold onto the safety railings. And of course, he couldn't do much but scream at the pressure and speed of the situation.
Eventually, the SDV slowed down and stopped since it had reached its destination.
The figure was dizzy but still was conscious enough to know to let go, and with the help of his water slippers he had managed to swim towards the surface.
A few minutes had passed and the figure had made it into the bases underground facility.
Once he got out of the water, he laid himself down for a bit, trying to relax himself from what just happened.
He took off his snorkel and his fins but still kept the rest of the diving equipment.
With little force inside himself, he managed to say a sentence.
"Why did I agree to this mission at the 1st place…..."
[Jr High Force HQ 7:23 PM]
A small blue cat was inside a medical room and was told to wait. He didn't get much of a chance to react what so ever, the special forces practically broke in to his house and forced him to come to the HQs without even explaining what was going on. It also didn't help that he was only in his underwear and the place he was in wasn't really known for having high temperatures.
One slightly positive aspect was that he wasn't waiting alone, his company though was unusual to say the least. A ghost girl with an emo haircut was in the room with him, most likely waiting for the same thing as the cat did.
For a while, there was no word to be heard outside the breathing of the two. The ghost decided to start a conversation with the him.
"I heard a lot about you." She said as she floated towards his position.
He instantly turned his head to meet her gaze and tried to put on a cool guy act.
"Really? Well, what awesome stuff did you hear then?" He said while putting his palms behind the back of his head and crossing his legs.
That small feature irritated the ghost girl a bit but proceeded to continue the conversation.
"I heard many things. Such as you saving the world twice, stopping an unidentified evil and I also heard that you were one of the high-ranking soldiers despite your age."
The cat's smug level was pretty high by now, he pretended to check out his nails so that he could appear as a professional to her. He even mumbled a few ´´Aha, yep, I'm awesome. ´´ to say the least. The ghost girl ignored every single attempt he made to appear cool and continued.
"What I don't know though is your name."
He stopped what he was doing at stared at her, not expecting her to ask this.
"Well?" She asked him with curiosity.
In just a frame, the cat got in a stereotypical hero pose and shared his name with the ghost.
"Feline, Solid Feline." He spoke with a made-up manly voice.
She didn't give him any response at first. „I meant your real name, not your code name."
He changed his pose in to dramatic one.
"I don't have a real name, I'm a nameless person." He spoke in a deeper voice.
The ghost let out a small grunt of frustration and then moved towards a shelf where she took a folder from a desk. She floated back at him and read to him what apparently was in the folder.
"It says here that your name is Gumball Senicourt."
He immediately dropped his cool pose and stared wide eyed at her.
"Wha, where did you get that?" He asked melancholically.
"It's the government genius, they practically own this stuff."
Feline was of course annoyed by her statements, although very true, he did not enjoy his life as "Gumball" one bit. The only benefit he had was that he was alone with no one to bother him or to tell him what to do.
"Any who, I prefer to be called by my code name, I never liked Gumball anyways." He told her while crossing his arms.
She raised her appearing a brow. "You should sit back down on the bed; I have orders to make sure you stay in place and not go anywhere." She semi ordered him, being bossy wasn't really her character trait but orders were orders.
Feline headed back to the bed without any resistance on the way. He wasn't really scared of her, even though she was a ghost, he did it mostly because he wanted to.
Even though she didn't know too much about him, outside of what she heard, she did know a lot about someone else who he also happened to know. She was pretty sure that Feline knew this person better than anyone on the planet, he and that person did share a special bond, or rather a unique one. And she had been dying to remark that to him.
"You look exactly like her."
Felines eyes widened. ´´Her? what is she referring at? ´´
He turned his head again to face her and noticed a small grin on her.
"Whose ´´her´´?" He asked.
"Big Puss."
She said that name on a normal tone but to him it was like a loud thunder had crossed the ground and electrocuted him half to death.
His wide eyes were now only half opened, why did she have to remind him about Big Puss anyway? He hoped that she would stop at that, but no.
Although it was clear as water that Feline was irritated at the moment, she didn't stop there. She opened the folder again and read out loud another document. "Parent name: Nicole Senicourt. It says here that you're her offspring."
His irritation only grew as he was getting reminded at the fact that he was related to her, let alone that he was her son.
"Be honest, you must feel very lucky to be related to such an incredible person, right?"
He had to take a deep breath before answering that. "You. Have. No idea." He exclaimed with a twitching eye.
"Also, I am aware that she passed away a few years ago, I'm sorry. You must feel pretty lonely ever since her death."
Instead of getting more provoked Feline instead almost busted out into laughter at her words, mostly at the "you must feel pretty lonely," bit.
"Who are you? and why do you keep bringing up my late mom?" Feline asked and she didn't hesitate to respond.
"I'm Dr Carrie Krueger. I was part of the gene therapy clinic and they offered me a place in this mission."
"That doesn't answer my question-well maybe my 1st question but not the othe- Wait, you said mission?" He stopped midsentence and began a new one.
Carrie nodded in response to his question.
Gumball got irritated again, this time however it wasn't about his mom but simply cause of the fact that Carrie said the word: ´Mission´.
He got practically jumped out of the bed and rushed towards her position angerly.
"What mission!?" He shouted right Infront of her face. She was taken aback by this as she hadn't expected him to get this angry. Although he could do much to her since she had the benefit of being a ghost, she was still rightfully shocked at him.
She was about to say something in a stutter before the door of the room opened.
The moment Feline saw who was standing there, he let out an amused chuckle.
The person that had entered wasn't smiling when he saw Feline but he wasn't mad either. It's good to see an old friend after quite a long time but he wasn't sure if Feline was feeling the same way.
"Hello Feline."
"Colonel Patrick, I knew you were behind all this." Feline said with clear annoyance but couldn't resist smirking at him.
Patrick smirked back at him knowing that Feline didn't have any hard feelings. "Yeah, sorry if the boys were a little rough on you, but it was very important to bring you here as soon as possible." Said Patrick.
"I don't know what you want with me, but I heard that she said something about a mission and all I know is that I'm officially a student now and don't need to do any missions for you any longer after Zanzibar."
Carries eyes widened slightly. "Zanzibar? What are you two talking about?" asked Carrie as she gazed towards Patrick.
Patrick put up his arm signalling for Carrie to stop. "Nothing doctor, just get the needle." Carrie nodded in response and went to get a needle.
"Wait, WHAT!?" Feline asked fearfully. And so that his fears were confirmed, Carrie returned with a sharp needle ready to be injected in him.
"NOOOOOOO!" Feline tried to make an escape but Patrick had caught him and held his upper arms tiddly so that he couldn't move. However, he had to be injected by one of his arms in order for the serum to take effect. Patrick warped Felines right arm with his and stretched Felines left arm so that Carrie could inject him.
Meanwhile Feline was screaming bloody murder at what was about to happen to him and he didn't make it any easier for the other two because of his loud screaming and he constantly tried to kick his way out.
"Hold still and stop screaming! It won't last long!" Patrick tried to calm him down with no success.
Although holding and trying to keep Feline calm was hard, having to eject him in such a state would prove challenging, since Carrie had only one shot at it and Feline needed to be injected before he was sent off. (Weather he wanted to or not.)
She carefully injected the needle into his wrist vein and with that, his shouting became about 3 times higher and louder. Both Patrick and Carrie closed their eyes as his screaming was a torture to sit through. She almost considered stopping the injection midway but thankfully the needle was empty, which meant that the injection was done.
She pulled the needle off of his vein and Patrick let go of him. He was panting heavily and even teared up a bit after the act, but he quickly wiped the small tears off and calmed down again. Patrick and Carrie had a little trouble believing that he had calmed down this fast as they gave him a stare.
"So, where were we?"
The colonel sighed and proceeded to continue. "Alright listen, there's a very important misi-"
"Lalalalalaalala I'm not listening!" Feline abruptly stopped him midsentence and made fun of the whole situation.
Carrie abruptly punched him in the back of his head so that he would stop. ´´Ouch…. ´´
"Feline, listen." Patrick spoke. "The world needs you more than ever, you're the only one who can accomplish this mission." Feline turned around so that his back was facing Patrick's gaze, signalling to him that he wasn't interested or wiling to them, no matter how high the risk may be. "And I promise you, if this goes well, we will never bother you again."
He still didn't glance back at him and continued starring into the wall.
"Please Feline, its much worse than anything else we faced thus far. If you don't want to do it for us, I understand, but people will die if you either don't succeed or don't go at all at that mission." That now caught his attention.
Truth be told he didn't have any friends nor did he particularly care about the wellbeing of others, but even for a selfish 12 YO the thought of innocent people dying was a big deal. After a few moments of thinking he sighed heavily and finally turned his gaze to the colonel. He gave a small nod, which Patrick took as an acceptation for the mission.
"There's a base we have on Alaska called Shadow Void island." The colonel began explaining the issue.
"Shadow Void?" Feline repeated in a question. „So…. what's the issue?"
"There has been a rebellion there, lots of soldiers defected with a terrorist group and have taken control of all the nuclear weapons that we had there." Patrick explained.
"Ouch, didn't know you sucked that much at soldiering around." Said Feline mockingly while chuckling at his own joke. That easily annoyed the colonel.
"Ugh…anyways. The terrorists said that if we don't give in to their demands in the next 24 hours, they will launch a nuke."
"Demand's?"
"Yes, they demand that we give them the remains of a corpse that they need….and they also demand a couple billion dollars." Patrick said that last sentence in a mumble.
´´Ah, money, of course. If you are gonna take over a nuclear base and demand a corpse, why not even ask for a couple billion doll- wait, a corpse? ´´
"What corpse?" Feline said his thought out loud without even realising it.
Patrick sighed before telling him about the corpse, because he knows that Feline would get emotional in one way or another.
"They want… Big Pusses corpse…."
Feline didn't say anything, he simply stared at the colonel in disbelief. As if he didn't have enough surprises for one day…. ´´My mom's corpse? How the, where did they, why!?´´
"Allow me to explain." The colonel said. "They want to use her remains to get some of her DNA and use it to make evolved next gen soldiers."
Feline couldn't believe what he was hearing. Why her genes? Why not his!?
"How is it even possible to mix someone's DNA with someone else's and have such results!?" Feline half shouted his words out. It wasn't everyday where something like this would happen Afterall.
"Have you ever heard of gene therapy? It's not impossible to mix someone's genes with others." Carrie remarked Feline.
"And how do you know that?" Said Feline as he pointed straight into her face.
"I already told you, I was part of the gene therapy clinic!" Carrie shouted, "Weren't you listening!?"
Feline thought for a moment and decided to provoke her as payback for injecting him and irritating him with talks about his mother. A harsh gin formed on his snout, "Oh, I'm sorry, but I only listen to living things."
Carries face instantly fuelled with a bowling hot red as a response. "You idiot! HOW DARE YOU- "
"-ENOUGH!" Patrick interrupted Carrie. Both she and Feline gazed towards him. "Both of you stop arguing, we don't have much time left! If we don't do anything in the next 19 hours the terrorists will use the nukes and there will be no way to cover it up!" Patrick specifically gazed at Feline before finishing. "So, stop arguing and listen." Both did so, rather reductively but still.
"Anyways, the thing is that most of the defected soldiers are next generation genome soldiers and already share strong genes. It's unknown from where those other genes came from, but now they want to use your mother's genes as well."
All this talk of Genes and DNA and whatever else was beginning to get into Felines head.
"If they want her genes so bad then why don't they just take mine? I'm literally her only living family! And my DNA is fresher anyways."
Patrick slightly chuckled at Felines question. "1st, You know it's easier to catch dead person then a living one, right? And 2nd, We latterly had to hide you and set you up for the mission before they could track you down and use your DNA instead." The colonel finished.
Feline thought for a moment and figured out that Patricks excuses were good enough. Or at the very least convincing enough.
"So, is that all?"
"Yep."
"Let me guess, you want me to go there and stop the terrorists from launching the nukes?" Feline took a guess since it was pretty obvious what it would be about.
"Well, yes but there's some other things you need to do."
Feline groaned in frustration hoping that that would be it, but fate wouldn't make this night a walk in the park for him. "Proceed…."
"You have 2 mission objectives." Patrick began. "1st, you'll need to save the Darpa chief Larry Needlemeyer. And the president of ArmsTech, Gaylord Robinson. Both are being held as hostages. And secondly, you're to investigate whether or not the terrorists have the ability to make a nuclear strike, and stop them if so."
´´Simple enough. ´´ Feline thought to himself. "How will I get there?" He then asked.
"We will approach the disposal facility by sub. Then we´ll launch a one-man SDV. When the SDV gets close enough, dispose of it. From there on you'll have to swim your way there."
That seemed to be all there was to the mission. "All right, let's get this over with- "
"We are not done yet." This was just getting ridiculous at this point; how much more did he have to know?
"Whaaaaat?" Feline said in a voice that resembled at whiny teen.
The colonel half grunted at his reaction. "You have to know; 6 soldiers of the Jr High force are involved in this terrorist activity. The same unit you were once part of and the one I was commanded."
After finishing his sentence Patrick went to get some documents that presumably had info about those rogue soldiers.
Patrick handed over to Feline the 1st document and began explaining. "Psycho Jötunheim. An old woman but her psychic ability's make her a very dangerous foe."
"Psycho Jötunheim?" Feline asked dramatically.
Patrick ignored his question and handed him over the second document. "Sniper Cloud. A pretty maiden yet a deadly sharpshooter."
"Sniper Cloud?"
Patrick again didn't answer and simply moved on to the next file. "Decoy Clayton. A master of disguise, he can fool anyone with his shapeshifting ability's."
"Decoy Clayton?"
Patrick sighed at Felines need to repeat every single name in question form, as if he wasn't listening to such short sentences. "Vulcan Jamie. Giant and dangerous.", ´´Here it comes…...´´
"Vulcan Jamie?"
Carrie was getting annoyed at the cat at this point, so she took matters to her own hands. "You know that repeating words or names in question after someone clearly said them in front of you is a sign of autism right?" Carrie said rather harshly.
"Autism?"
Both the peanut and the ghost facepalmed themselves stronger than what it was necessary.
"Ouch." They both said.
"Ouch?"
Neither Patrick nor Carrie commented at his last question. Patrick just got the last paper and gave it to him so that they could get this over with. "And Revolver Spinzelott. Specialist in interrogations and a formidable gunslinger."
"Revolver eat my cab?" Feline had somehow managed to get the name wrong, so his question this time was worth answering.
Patrick cleared his throat, „Revolver Spinzelott."
"Revolver kiss my butt?"
"Revolver Spinzelott!" Repeated Patrick ad he slammed his fist on a nearby desk.
"Revolver Ocelot?" (Hehe :3)
"REVOLVER SPINZELOTT!" At that last time Carrie had joined him.
"Revolver…spins…. a lot?"
"Close enough." Patrick didn't want to deal with this anymore, so he let it slide.
"And finally, in charge of them all, Jr High Forces squad leader…"
A small dramatic pause followed before the camera zoomed into Patrick face while the room got somehow darker.
"Liquid Feline."
Felines face went from a noninterest one to a rather shocked one.
"Huh?" That wasn't the answer they expected. "Wait, I'm Feline!"
"You are solid Feline; he is Liquid Feline. He has the almost the exact same code name as you do." Patrick was glad that he could give out a normal answer rather than a stupid one.
"Hm, he must be pretty good then! Can't wait to show him who's boss though." Feline said as a smirk formed on him.
"You will definitely come across one of them, and the best choice to deal with them is to….., "Patrick briefly stopped before continuing." …take care of them."
Feline got a bit mad at Patricks last words. "I'm not a hired killer." He said sharply.
"That wasn't an order, it was a tip."
For a while, they stared at each other both knowing what killing meant for Feline. With the acceptation of having to kill in self-defence which was quite often, as far as he knew there was only one person, he had killed in cold blood… and Patrick knew how much it had affected him.
After the awkward staring contest, Patrick turned his back on Feline and faced towards a map of the island that Feline would soon investigate. "When you get there, I will contact you through the codec. As usual this will be a top-secret black op, weapons and equipment are OSP. (On-Site Procurement.)" Patrick explained further detail.
"Of course, just like every other mission." Feline half groaned.
"You are the best of the best, I'm sure that you can make it." Patrick tried to reassure him.
"Whatever…. Can you get me some clothes now? I'm getting cold." Feline said while shivering.
Carrie had given Feline a suitcase that contained what seemed to be various Armor parts. They were all on dark or unimaginative colours like dark blue, black and grey. "Here you go."
Feline wasted no time and quickly put on the suit, it had a metal like hard chest plate and 2 straps held his entire Armor together. To top it all off, it also had a bandana, Felines favourite head accessory. He went near a mirror and took a look at himself, admiring how nice it looked on him and doing several snobby poses.
"Nice suit but how will this protect me from the temperature? I mean, I guess my body is safe but what about my face, hands and feet?" Feline asked at Carrie specifically.
"Don't worry, we got you covered. Remember that shot I gave you?"
Feline cringed and shivered at the painful moment that would forever traumatize him. "Yeah?"
"It contained nanomachines that will allow your body to survive at low temperatures. And the suit itself is specifically designed for low temperature places; this is why the chest plate is so hard."
"Oh, all right. Is it gonna be permanent?"
"It will last for 24 hours at most, believe me its more than enough time for you to finish your mission." Carrie remarked him. "Also, be aware that your suit has a small camera which will allow me and the colonel to see what's happening, that depends however if we get a good view. Also, if it gets jammed, we won't be able to see anything."
Feline nodded in response to her. "Are we ready to go?" He was just about getting tired with all the exposition and no action.
"Wait Feline, there's one last thing."
"What is it now!? Another person I gotta deal with!?"
Patrick sighed before explaining. "Not exactly." He said while taking off his beret. "My…daughter was on the island during the take-over. She was just recruited at Jr High."
Felines eyes widened again. "You have a daughter?" he asked Patrick in a surprising yet shocked tone.
"Yes, she's about your age. Listen, all I'm asking is for you to save her as well."
"Is this another objective?" Feline asked while raising a brow.
"It's a favour. Please Feline, she's the only family I have left, you are the only one who can save her at this point."
´´And the hero gets the pretty lady. Sounds good to me. ´´ He thought while smirking. "All right, I'll try to look for her."
Patricks frown disappeared and a smile replaced it. "Thanks a lot Feline."
"No problem colonel." Feline answered and looked around, making sure they had everything. "So, when are we leaving?"
[East north specific 11:00 PM]
Feline still laid on the ground and tried to take a few quick breaths after a very unpleasant send off to his mission. He quickly looked around to absorb his surrounding's and he saw a few guards roaming around the small hallway he was in. There was also an elevator that appeared to go up while making red alarm noises. The noises were probably added so that the soldiers there would know if something was spouse to use the elevator or not.
What he didn't notice is the person that used it, he couldn't see too clearly but he could make only one feature clear: Pink. He then used a small ear plug to use the Codec and put in the frequency 140.85.
[ENTER CALL]
Feline: "This is Feline, can you hear me?"
Patrick: "Loud and clear. Did you arrive safely?"
Feline: "If by safely you mean that after a horrible send off by my own team, then yes."
Patrick "Yeah…. sorry about that, but we couldn't waist anymore time."
Feline: "Whatever, there some guards out here, I'll call you again after I have dealt with them."
Patrick: "All right, good luck."
[EXIT CALL]
Feline tried to sneak attack a guard but something unfortunate happened.
SNEEZE
"!"
Every single one of the guards was now aware of Felines presents and went straight into him.
"SERIUOSLY!? I JUST GOT HERE!"

One of the guards started firing at feline and he just barely managed to avoid the bullets. He quickly tackled one guard down to the ground and threw his weapon towards another. He punched one right in his guts and threw the last one towards a bunch of boxes. He quickly tried to make an escape but to his surprise there were even more guards there. He had to think fast of a way to hide and a way to take care of the guards.
He miraculously thought of something, something that had saved his life in situations like this many times before, he would hide in a cardboard box. And….it worked. Do to the fact that the facility was already full of boxes and that the guards weren't really too smart, Feline had managed to escape attention.
After the guards had basically forgotten about him, he was out and was ready to kick their butts. In a span of 5 minutes, he managed to take care of them all. Some by knock down and others by snapping their necks in a quick fashion.
"Well, that went well…." Feline said out loud and went towards the elevator that had returned by now as he had expected. What he hadn't expected was another guard, but he didn't last long anyway.
He got inside the elevator and pressed the "Up" button to go up. (Of course.)
He took a deep breath before talking to himself some more. "So far so good, I managed to get pass these guards and no one even knows I'm he- "
A loud alarm echoed throughout the entire base, just like it had done before when someone used the elevator. The alarm though was a dead giveaway…´´…fantastic…´´
They were now aware for an intruder.
Feline decided to take off the remaining divers gear that was on top of him. He took of his mask, his oxygen tank and lastly his BCD. He took one final breath, knowing that this would be his most important mission and he was ready.

The elevator reached the surface, exactly where Feline had to be. He scanned his surroundings and surely enough it was all covered in snow. To be exactly accurate he couldn't really see much at his current position outside of a few trucks and some containers so his next move was pretty clear, but needed to be done carefully.
He moved out of the elevator and hid behind a container and reached for his codec for another call.
[ENTER CALL]
Feline: "It's Feline, I made it to the disposal facility."
Patrick: "Excellent Feline. You still got it."
Carrie: "Hello Feline, It's me Carrie. How's the sneaking suit?"
Feline: "I'm nice and warm but man, I'm having difficulty moving."
Carrie: "Well, it is specifically designed to protect you from Hyperthermia. You are in Alaska Afterall."
Feline: "Thanks a lot captain obvious, are you sure though that it will last?"
Carrie: "Don't worry, the suits have already been used and tested by the army. In fact, the genome soldiers you will be fighting are using it right now."
Feline: "All right, guess I'm safe. Say how is that diversion going?"
Patrick: "2 of our helicopters are making their way towards your location. I'm sure that the terrorists will be distracted."
Feline: "Cool, guess that everything is going fine- Wait, what's that?"
Feline took a small pick behind the container he was behind from and saw a relatively large field full with soldiers, tactical weapons, cameras and…. "A hind D?"
There appeared to be a helicopter landing zone with a hind D on it, it was probably ready to go fight the diversion forces. But what was more serial than that was the fact that around the gunship, there was a figure wearing a brown cote and talking to some genome soldiers. There was something off about the figure, first of all, he didn't have any fur on top of his skin, it was merely pink and- wait, no. He did have fur, but it was pink. ´´Why pink? ´´
Feline: "Hmm weird."
Patrick: "What is it?"
Feline: "There's a figure right next to a helicopter, his a little weird looking. He appears to be wearing a trench coat and he appears to be an animal like me, but with pink fur for some strange reason. Is that that Revolver spins a lot guy?"
Patrick: "I don't think so, we have a small account on him and he doesn't have any hair to begin with."
Carrie: "Wait, you said pink fur?"
Feline: "Yeah?"
Carrie: "I think that that might be Liquid, he is described as having pink fur."
Feline: "What? The same guy that has the same code name as I do is pink? HAH! What a loser!"
Carrie: "What's wrong with pink?"
Feline: "Ah please, we all know that it's a girly colour and it's also that guys most identifying feature? He won't be a problem at all."
Carrie: "Don't be so cocky, otherwise you'll end up pink in the end too, because I'm sure that he will shave you to death if he caches you."
Feline: "We will see about that soon enough, it's not like you will die waiting. HAH! Get it? Because you are a ghost!"
Carrie: "…"
Patrick: "…"
Feline: "Awwww…"
[Frequency 140.96 enters.]
?: "WOW! I can't believe it's you!"
Feline: "Huh? Whose said that?"
Patrick: "Oh…. sorry, I didn't get to introduce you two too each other. There's one, more person who will be joining us in this mission. She is the one who designed all of your equipment. Now, let me introduce you to…..."
Sarah: "Hello Feline! My name is Sarah! I'm a massive fan of you and I'm looking forward to guiding you throughout your mission!"
Feline:" …."
Sarah: "What's wrong?"
Feline: "Nothing, it's just I never expected a world class designer of military stuff to be so…unique?"
Sarah: "Aww you make me blush!"
Feline: "Ehehehe, yeah…"
Patrick: "Ok, listen carefully. You can use your radar as long as you are not seen by the enemy, I'm afraid that it gets easily jammed."
Sarah: "And if you want to, I'll be here to record your mission data!"
Feline: "Why would I want that?"
Sarah: Ohhhhh, no reason…..."
Feline: "…´´Weirdo´´ Guess I'll contact you whenever I'm feeling lonely."
Patrick: "Don't forget Feline, you need to arm yourself with any kind of weapon you can find around here. Excluding your suit, you are practically naked."
Feline: "Wait a sec, why did Carrie strip search me in the 1st place? Why couldn't I just use what I have? Seriously it's like you want me to fail."
Carrie: "Well, if you make it through this, I may let you do some strip search on me."
"…"
Feline: "…. I fail to see how that would work."
Carrie: "Yeah…...´´Why did I say that…."
Feline: "Good thing I still got my lollipops with me!"
Carrie: "How did you- "
Feline: "In my mouth, AND stomach."
"…"
Carrie: "Why would you even need Lollipops in this mission?"
Feline: "You never know. ;D"
Patrick: "Alright, enough chatting. Call us anytime you need anything, but for now try to get inside the building and rescue the Darpa chief."
Feline: "All right, signing off…."
[EXIT CALL]
The cloaked figure left alongside with the chopper thus lifting one weight of felines shoulders, but the place was still full of guards. However, thanks to his previous encounter with them which was just a few minutes ago, they don't seem to be the smartest at their job, despite their genes. ´´I guess strong lineage at the end doesn't mean anything. ´´
At that sentence he suddenly was reminded of his lineage. Specifically, the one with his mother. Even after her death everyone knows about her and praise her. ´´ If only they knew…. ´´
Feline always hated to be compared to her, everyone practically saw him a shadow of Big Puss rather than his own person. Although he did manage to prove himself successfully at the past, his reputation was nowhere near hers. And by the looks of it, it wouldn't change any time soon.
He may have been her only son, but he was nothing like her, nothing.
However, that didn't matter right now, what mattered now were his objectives.
´´Rescue the hostages, and prevent a nuclear launch. ´´
He took one final look at his surroundings, Alaska never looked so cold and miserable as it did this night. He had hoped that the mission, despite its importance, would end quickly. But considering the size of the base and the enemy's he would be facing; it was clear that this mission would be anything but quick.
"This is gonna be a long night…..."
A/N
And that was the prologue.
Now…. you may be asking…...
"WTF IS GOING ON!? WHY IS GUMBALLS LAST NAME SENICOURT!? WHY IS NICOLE DEAD AND CALLED BIG PUSS!? WHERES RICHARD!? WHERES ANAIS!? WHERES DARWIN!? WHAT IS HAPPENING!?"
And youll be totally right to ask all this. Let's just say that a lot of these questions will be answered later down the line and others will be answered in different ways.
I know this prologue is mostly exposition and the plot didn't really move that much but trust me, it's better to make the prologue full of exposition and have some context rather than randomly finding out what's going on while the story progresses.
If I'm not mistaking chapter 2 should be out in public as well, so if you liked this chapter, then you can go straight ahead to the second one.
Stay tuned! :D
