This is a Naruto x Nezuko story set in the Naruto realm.
'I wonder what's wrong with that mansion?' was the thought running in the mind of the young blonde, known as Naruto Uzumaki. The mansion in question was an old gigantic Japanese type mansion surrounded by a large stone wall. Moss covered the old walls showing many years of neglect. In all of the blonde's 6 years of life, he had never once seen anyone enter the mansion.
The villagers called it haunted and cursed by demons, which confused Naruto since they often called him a demon. "Could my parents be in there?" Naruto asked out loud on his hill. Naruto shook the thought off once he remembered what his Jiji said.
"Your parents died as heroes, Naruto-kun. They had many enemies so I cannot disclose their names." The Kage had told him. Naruto had no clue what 'disclose' meant but he just nodded along. The young Uzumaki cleared his thoughts once again and started walking to get some lunch.
*That night*
Naruto yawned and stretched as he sat up on... the cold floor? Confusion struck across his face, as he looked around. It was early morning from what Naruto could tell from the orangish sunlight showering him.
There were giant stone walls on three of his sides, on his fourth was a paper door. "That's like the door from Jiji's place." Naruto noted, walking towards the door. He noticed that there we're kanji lining the door but he couldn't read them.
The blonde opened it and walked into the place. Immediately upon entry, he was coughing up a storm from all the dust. Once his coughing fit was done, he decided to explore. Three doors were in his path, one in the middle and two on his sides.
After playing a little game of eeny meeny miny moe in his head, he opened the door ahead. As he stepped in, he studied the room, there was another door to the front but in the center of that room was a box about the size of Naruto.
Walking forward, he crouched down and opened the box. Naruto gasped in shock once he saw the girl inside the thing. A pink dusting covered his cheeks as he tried to wake her. "Miss. Miss." Naruto shook her.
Her eyes flew open revealing two glowing pink orbs. In less than a second, she was on Naruto trying to bite him. The boy of course screamed and started trying to pry her off. Whenever he couldn't he got an idea.
Naruto hit something behind him just as he enacted his plan. While falling through the paper door, he bit own into the girls neck with his sharp k9s. The second both of their blood touched the ground, the room lit up with a flash.
A searing pain flashed through both and they started screaming in pain while rolling on the ground. Four figures stood over the two in complete confusion for a few seconds. "Giyu, Shinobu, Zenitsu help the boy, I have Nezuko." A commanding yet soft voice spoke.
Naruto's skin felt like it was on fire until three sets of hands set him up. "It's alright, just take deep breaths." A feminine voice told him. Naruto's breathing settled just as his skin was burning. "Look, he has Nezuko's vine marks." A new male voice pointed out.
The Uzumaki looked down at his arms and legs noticing what looked like vines wrapping around his limbs in what seemed to be a protective manner. "Look at the marks, it's almost like Nezuko made him hers" The female said with curiosity.
"You know I can hear you right?" Naruto gazed up at the three crouched beside him. One was a black haired male with cold dark blue eyes. The female beside him had purple and black hair with matching purple eyes.
Lastly, the other male was a man with long blonde hair and golden dark brown eyes. "This kid looks like a mix of us three. He has Giyu's eyes, my hair, and Shinobu's..." The blonde joked before something clicked in his mind. "Hey kid, what's your name?" He asked.
Naruto looked the the man and puffed out his lower lip. "It's rude to ask for someone's name without giving your own." This caused the female to giggle up a storm before she went to squeeze his cheeks.
Using his unnatural speed, he moved out the way. The woman got a glint in her eye and moved after him at fast speeds. Naruto moved away again and before he knew it they were playing a game of cat and mouse.
"Shinobu, stop!" The black haired guy shouted just as she was about to grab Naruto's cheeks. The young blonde heaved in oxygen as the lady finally gave up. "Hey kid, my names Giyu Tomioka, that's my wife Shinobu, and the blonde idiot behind me is Zenitsu Agatsuma." Giyu pointed.
Naruto smiled at the proper manners of at least one of the people. Extending his hand he spoke, "Naruto Uzumaki, nice to meet cha." Giyu smiled back and shook the boys hand firmly. "Hey, guys it seems that Nezuko is stuck at her final form." The last unknown male said cradling his sister.
The three adults turned over to the siblings with Giyu dragging Naruto along. "I don't want to get near her, she'll bite me again!" Naruto shouted, making all of them stop. The one pulling him, quickly put him into a headlock.
"Oi, what's the big deal?" Naruto shouted, just as the others pulled their swords which he just noticed. "You said she bit you right?" Zenitsu asked, getting a nod from his fellow blonde. "Why isn't he turning?" The final man stepped behind the other two.
"It's because he is already a demon." An old sagely voice said. All turned to what seemed to be the ghost of an old man with a cane. "This boy holds the giant demon fox Kyuubi within him." The man said, gaining their attention.
"But animals can't be demons." Shinobu pointed out. "You four are from the time of demon slayers, that was over 10,000 years ago. Humans have evolved and new demons have been created." The man spoke.
Many questions were about to leave their mouths but the man cut them off. "You four have gotten here from a type of technique which raises the ancestors of whoever's blood is spilt on this floor."
"So from my guess, that blonde right there is an ancestor of you three. The girl is by my guess just yours." The old man pointed at the trio beside Naruto before towards the last man. "Just give us the entire rundown." Shinobu clicked her tongue.
*Five hours later*
The six of them all sat down in front of the spirit of a man, listening to the story of history. The man said his goodbyes before he faded away. "So, are we just supposed to start training Naruto and Nezuko?" The now known Tanjirou asked. "Can I just hug him for a little longer?" Shinobu asked, holding the young blonde in her lap.
All the others sweat dropped at her current actions. Once Naruto started telling his story, Shinobu's mother instincts kicked in and she ended up cradling the boy. A little after he stopped his story, he fell asleep in her arms emitting a small purr.
Nezuko, who didn't have her muzzle anymore, crawled over to the two while also making her size a little smaller than Naruto. The raven haired woman crawled into Naruto's arms and fell asleep.
Shinobu was shining brightly with happiness of being able to hold a child again. Giyu was out of character, pouting. The other two males just chuckled before building a plan about what to do. "If this is the old Butterfly mansion like the old man said, then we will be able to navigate it easily." Tanjirou pointed out, before standing up.
"Shinobu-sama, it would be best to put Nezuko and Naruto to bed before we start planning their training." The purple haired woman nodded before walking off. The remaining males started speaking about how their training should go.
*One week later*
Naruto yawned and stretched as he got out of bed. He felt a warmth on his chest, looking down it was Nezuko. The ravenette kept climbing into his bed during night time and she would just say "Naru warm."
Because of not speaking for a few years before she was put to a coma, she actually forgot how to speak. Naruto actually found it kind of cute but Tanjirou scared the hell out of him. The blonde once again took advantage of his speed to quickly replace himself with a pillow.
"You know I think that's a jutsu. It's called kimawari if I recall." Shinobu said from the corner. Naruto jumped at the sudden voice before turning to the woman. "Shinobu-san, can you please stop doing that or at least teach me?" Naruto asked.
A savage grin grew on her face, and she went to grab Naruto but her husband stopped her. "Let him get physically strong before teaching him any of your techniques." Giyu suggested. "Well, I wanna learn that so let's get going." Naruto beamed.
*Year later*
"Wake up Naruto-kun, It's time for the academy." Shinobu called down the halls to her 'son'. Naruto hopped out of bed and in a flash he was dressed. He had a black pair of pants, a white long sleeve shirt, and a pair of black sandals with socks covering his toes. Over the shirt was a dark orange hoodie. Not even a second later, he was in the kitchen sitting on a stool.
"Naruto-kun, Nezuko is stuck to your chest again." Giyu pointed out while leaning against the counter. The blonde looked down and sure enough, the girl was holding on for dear life underneath his shirt.
Naruto pulled his shirt up and unlatched the small girl from his chest. She grew to his size in his arms and tried to grab back on. Tanjirou walked up behind her and grabbed her by the scruff of her neck.
"Nezuko-chan, if you go get dressed for the academy in under 20 seconds then I'll buy you a whole bag of Konpeitou." The moment the sentence left his mouth, Nezuko was gone. "I still find it cute, she sticks to you like her life depends on it." Shinobu teased him.
The blonde blushed and quickly ate his breakfast. All of a sudden, Zenitsu appeared next to Naruto with an urgent look. "The Hokage is on his way to your apartment Naruto-kun, eat up so we can get there before him." The older blonde urged.
Naruto ate quickly hoping to leave before Nezuko got done getting dressed. He was unsuccessful once he felt Nezuko squirm into his lap. Ignoring the laughter from the adults, the Uzumaki looked down at her.
He studied her outfit and sighed, it was basically his outfit without a jacket and a pink shirt. "Nezuko-chan, I'll see you at the academy in a few minutes. Just let go of me please." Nezuko pouted and started forming words.
"I'll... see you. Naru-kun." She spoke slowly, melting every heart there. Once Nezuko was off his lap, Zenitsu grabbed his shoulder and covered them both in lightning. Moving at very high speed, they made their way to Naruto's apartment.
The elder blonde gave his 'nephew' a goodbye before leaving him at the apartment. Naruto waited for the knock on his door by sitting on the counter. It was surprising the cleanest thing in the apartment.
He passed the next few minutes by playing with the small dagger he kept on his lower back. He nicked his finger trying to spin it in the air but it closed up within seconds. "Probably not the safest thing to pass time." Naruto noted putting the blade away and hopping down.
He sensed the Kage and his ANBU a few feet from his door so he went ahead and opened it. "Hello Jii-chan." Naruto waved and received one back. "Inu. Weasel." Naruto waved at the roof above him.
After savoring the shocked expression on Hiruzen's face for a few seconds, he walked along. "Come on Jii-chan, we don't want to be late." The blonde urged. The two males set off for the academy which was only a few minute walk away.
"So how long have you been able to sense chakra, Naruto-kun?" Hiruzen asked. "I've always felt it but just recently did I actually pay attention to it." He answered. "You realize what that means right?" Hiruzen questioned.
"Yeah, it means I can become an awesome shinobi!" Naruto shouted, hopping up and down. The Hokage chuckled before settling the blonde down. "Where'd you get the clothes? They suit you." The elder asked.
"I uh kind of stole them." Naruto chuckled. He winced however whenever Hiruzen's pressure hit him, not KI but just a small flux of chakra. "And why are you stealing?" The Kage said. "Because everything they sell me is tripled in price and the food is rotten." The blonde answered.
Hiruzen dropped the pressure from Naruto but instead aimed it at the few merchants he saw passing by. "This afternoon, I want you to drop by my office and you're gonna tell me which merchants did what." The old man ordered.
Naruto nodded along as they passed through the academy gates. "Your classroom is 207, second floor. Please restrain from pranking your sensei." The man said, gaining a smirk. "No promises." Naruto yelled as he ran into the academy.
So it was time to start the road to becoming a shinobi.
