Shadow'Feather owned by my friend, tessonna88 on Roblox

All other characters are owned by me.

I would use the actual other characters that were in the server we played in, but I never talked or got their permission, so I won't as it wouldn't be right, but I did keep the plot the same. The story is in Shadow'Feather's POV

"I never thought he would let his thirst for revenge blind him from what was truly important…"

– Shadow'Feather

My brown pelt and amber eyes reflected back at me through the water. I looked up slowly at the darkening sky, as I watched birds fly freely through it. I took in a breath before padding back to camp. As I walked, I saw my good friend Spider'Sight who was talking with Shadowclan's deputy, Shade'Whisker. I watched him run off with Yarrow'Belly shortly after their conversation.

As usual I saw our leader, Shattered'Star asleep in his den, that lazy mouse brain never gets up for anything. The deputy was just as lazy, always sitting around never going on any patrols themselves. I looked and saw the fresh-kill pile was low, so I went out to hunt.

Few minutes later

I was able to catch a shrew but that was it. My ears perked at a sudden yowl, I quickly dropped the shrew, and ran towards the noise. I saw Spider'Sight and Yarrow'Belly along with a fox. Spider'Sight was protecting Yarrow'Belly who laid unconscious and covered in wounds. I ran into a bush, making the fox turn its attention to me.

I saw Spider'Sight pick Yarrow'Belly up onto his back and sneak quickly away. The fox began snarling down at me, to which I quickly ran, and it gave chase. I avoided camp and any other cats I knew would be on patrol as that could lead to more cats being injured. I was maneuvering through trees and bushes to try to shake the fox, but it was smart and kept on my tail. I took in a breath and ran towards the thunderpath.

I ran right onto it, the fox not stopping as it gained distance. I then heard the telltale rumbling of the thunderpath, and the bright eyes of the monster. I quickly leapt off the thunderpath, and only made it by the fur on my back. I smelt for the fox but all I smelt was death, telling me the monster got it. I went back to camp where I saw Spider'Sight; but I also took in notice how angry he looked.

I approached him silently and sat by him.

"Hello, Shadow'Feather" He greeted.

"Hi, Spider'Sight." I greeted in return; earning a nod of acknowledgment.

"You seem bothered." I added.

"I am. I told Shattered'Star of the fox and he told me to kill it to prove my loyalty before he fell right back to sleep!" He hissed.

"The fox is dead, a monster got it." I informed.

"Good to know." Spider'Sight, said.

I saw Shade'Whisker walking by, slowly.

"If our leader and deputy weren't so lazy then perhaps this clan would be on their paws and not on the ground scrambling for food." Spider'Sight said, loudly.

"Excuse me!?" Shade'Whisker hissed.

I watched Shade'Whisker get right up in Spider'Sight's face.

"You heard me" Spider'Sight said, a smile on his face.

"Say it again." Shade'Whisker said, angrily.

"If our leader and deputy weren't so lazy then perhaps this clan would be on their paws and not on the ground scrambling for food." Spider'Sight repeated.

Shade'Whisker hissed and went straight over to Shattered'Star's den. I heard Spider'Sight snicker to himself, before Shattered'Star called for him.

"I'll be back." Spider'Sight said, before walking away.

I waited a few minutes before, I heard Shattered'Star yowl,

"Every cat old enough to stalk in the shadows come meet under shade rock for a clan meeting!"

The whole clan soon gathered beneath shade rock.

"We are here today for the trial of Spider'Sight. He claims Shade'Whisker and I are lazy." Shattered'Star hissed.

"You are, and I only stated the truth." Spider'Sight defended.

"Is that all you have to say?" Shattered'Star inquired.

"Yes sir, I meant what I said, and I said what I meant. You two are lazy." Spider'Sight said, angrily.

"Then I hereby exile you, if any cat here sees you in Shadowclan territory after sun-high they will have my permission to kill you! Leave!" Shattered'Star hissed.

"You will regret this Shattered'Star. I will make you all pay, dearly for this mistake." Spider'Sight promised with a hiss before bolting out of camp.

After Spider'Sight's trial, Shattered'Star dismissed us, and I quickly ran out to find him. I followed his scent over to Riverclan. I stalked into a bush nearby and listened to the conversation between Spider'Sight and Riverclan's leader, Dappled'Star.

"If you let me stay here, for shelter, food, and medical whenever needed then I will supply you with any information from Shadowclan you want." Spider'Sight promised.

"Hmm, that does sound like a good deal. Especially after hearing that they want war." Dappled'Star thought for a few moments.

"Hmph, fine. As long as you keep your end then we'll keep ours." Dappled'Star agreed.

"Splendid!" Spider'Sight purred.

Spider'Sight ran off, and stopped short at fourtrees, where I followed him.

"Shadow'Feather!" Spider'Sight purred, with a glad smile.

"Hello." I greeted.

"It's great that you're here, I need you for my plan." Spider'Sight informed.

"I know, you could never complete it without me." I said, with a smile.

"You are very right." Spider'Sight agreed.

"Alright, what's the plan?" I asked.

"I need you to help get inside information in Shadowclan, be discreet." Spider'Sight explained.

"Alright, I'm in." I agreed.

"Great! We start now." Spider'Sight informed.

We both ran back to Shadowclan, I entered through the entrance and Spider'Sight ran off to the side to our meeting spot. As I entered, I noticed a clan meeting was being held by Shade'Whisker. I quickly ran over to the crowd of cats, and I noticed they had their heads low in mourn. I turned my attention back up at Shade'Whisker.

"As Shattered'Star's deputy I must take his place as leader over Shadowclan, and I will pick my new deputy before I leave for the moonstone. Dismissed." Shade'Whisker announced.

I left camp and reported to Spider'Sight.

"What'd you find out?" Spider'Sight asked.

"Shattered'Star is dead, I don't know how he died but all I know is Shade'Whisker is the new leader of Shadowclan and that he'll pick his deputy before he heads to the moonstone" I informed.

"Excellent work, Shadow'Feather!" Spider'Sight praised, before getting up.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"The moonstone, of course. I need to pay Shade'Whisker a visit..." Spider'Sight purred, an evil flicker of light showed in his yellow eyes as he left.

I sighed and headed back to Shadowclan camp, where I just laid down in my nest, and fell asleep.
