Magic within a City of Beasts
This is a crossover of 'Magical girl Lyrical Nanoha' series and 'BNA brand new animal'. I do not own any of the characters from either of the Animes. Only the characters that I've created within my head, please leave a comment to tell me what you think of the story.
Prologue

In the beginning I thought I knew who I was...
I lived on Midchilda with people who I thought were my real parents. Midchilda was a world where technology and magic are combined and live side-by-side with each other. My parents and I were happy for we didn't have any worries or problems as we lived a normal life within our home. But that all changed when a group of men suddenly came to our house on the night of my 14th birthday. That was when my whole world came crashing down all around me when I found out that I wasn't who I thought I was. When they entered, one of the men grabbed my right arm and began to pull me away from my family. My parents begged for the men to let me go, while I cried out for them to help me. The lead man had smirked when my father threatened him and his men. The leader then revealed that I wasn't really my parent's daughter. I froze at what the man said before a hallow screen appeared before me as it showed my back ground story, and what I read had my eyes widened in shock and horror. The man revealed that I was actually the clone of my parent's original daughter, who had died in a car accident at the age of ten. After he said those words, my parents sadly turned away from me with looks of guilt on their features. I felt the overwhelming pain of betrayal as my 'parents' let the men take me away.
I was taken to a lab where those men and their scientists put me through horrifying experiments, which nearly drove me to insanity. But the experiments that they put me through soon pushed me to go beyond my limits. My magic, which was supposed to be at an average level, suddenly became higher than normal. The magic deep within my body soon burst out of me when I was being electrocuted at a dangerously high voltage level and caused me to fall unconscious. I don't remember anything else after the magic surged out of my body and caused that large explosion within the lab. After the explosion, I woke up and I found myself staring up at the storm clouded sky with rain falling down on me. All around me laid the remains of the once terrible lab that I had been trapped in for the last ten months. I didn't know how I survived the blast of my magical surge, but I was thankful that I was given a chance at freedom. With some difficulty, I was able to get as far away from the destroyed lab as possible. I hid in the forest to heal and be alone for a while. It didn't take long for my wounds to heal and I was given time to contemplate what I had gone through. After a time, I soon decided that I will never trust anyone again and that the only one I can trust...was myself.
I soon took part in street or cage fights to make myself stronger so that I could stand on my own two feet. It wasn't long after that, that I took up some odd jobs to earn money. Most of the money that I've earned was by helping people, like home movers or store owners, to either stock up or lift heavy boxes that carried important items or food. The other half of my money came from the street fighting or cage fights that I partook in my goal to becoming stronger. That had been my life for four years and I thought that it would continue on like that. But things quickly took a turn for me a few months later. I was hired by a shady group of men to help deliver illegal goods to the black market in the darker parts of Midchilda. The items that I would help transport were stolen weapons from different dimensions. The weapons were to be sold to the highest bidders on the black market. I wasn't really thrilled about what I was going to do at the time. Yet I couldn't really pass up the chance to earn the money that my employers had offered to me. It wasn't until I discovered a small and unusual item hidden within the truck that my life was going to change from living on the streets, to being transported somewhere that'll lead me down a new path in life.
