I'd like to say that this is my first serious evangelion fanfiction that I've posted; let alone written at all, and with that, there will probably be some issues here or there, so if you don't like it, I guess you can say something negative about it in the comments, but I'm open to constructive criticism for this story as well. There will be some changes here or there though, but then again, you probably already know that from the summery.

CHAPTER ONE: The End, And The Beginning Yet Again.

I am awake, again..

Rei opened her uncovered eye as the geofront shook, the angel stomped along the shattered city while destroying the defense batteries, several attack vtols shot at the angel, however, the large beast's eyes glowed red for a brief period of time, and then two large beams of red energy sliced through the vtols, sending them crashing into the ground.
After sending a large blast at the last battery of defense, sachiel jumped over the crater and smashed into the artificial forest in front of nerv's recognizable pyramid. And as the third angel walked towards nerv headquarters, a large cylinder rose up to the surface and opened, and out came unit-01.
The angel stared at the purple eva with disdain, and the third angel was going to annihilate this abomination.

"Shinji, try to imagine if you were walking." The blonde doctor ritsuko said into the microphone within the command room. Misato bit down on her nails while watching the live feed closely; she was clearly worried, and it showed, of course the bridge bunnies' loud orders didn't exactly ease her tension either.

"O-okay.. try taking a step..." Shinji whispered to himself as unit-01 took a single step from the cylindric container.

But as unit-01 attempted to take another step, it quickly fell over onto the ground, grabbing the attention of sachiel. The third angel marched up to the fallen eva and picked it up with anger.
Sachiel pulled on the arm of unit-01 with force; shinji grabbed at his right arm as the phantom pain ringed throughout his entire arm, and after a small amount of time, the right forearm of the purple eva unit broke from the force.
The ikari boy's face twisted with agony as the pain stabbed through his right arm, he could hear everyone in nerv HQ yelling multiple things all at once; sachiel grabbed unit-01 by the head and shoved it's left hand into the eva's head, and when it did, the purple beam emerged from the angel's left hand, punching against the eva's eye.

After several more punches from the angel's beam, unit-01's left eye shattered, and the purple beam impaled the eva's head, which then sent it flying into a building. A strange liquid sprayed from the mech's head as it slid down the building, the sight made misato gasp as the bridge crew scrambled for the pilot's vitals.

Am I dead, is this it?

The thought was the only thing in the black void that shinji inhabited for the time being, but it was quickly washed away as a large wave of warm energy splashed across the void and onto shinji.

Mother...

"Checking pilot vitals!"

"Brain waves are unstable!"

"Pilot status is still unknown!"

The command center was absorbed in a hurricane of noise as everyone tried to get a status on shinji, but it seemed rather impossible at the moment, but something would soon break the mold of what nerv thought was once impossible.
A loud ungodly howl rang from unit-01's resting place as the eva rose from the ground; the mouth guard opened, revealing two rows of mechanical red teeth.

"W-what!" Ritsuko exclaimed with a tone of uncertainty as she watched the evangelion unit roar, and then charge at the third angel; it's killing intent showed with how vicious it's attacks were. The eva grabbed both of the angel's arms and violently broke the both of them, and after breaking the arms, unit-01 howled again and smashed against sachiel's AT-field. Unit-01 punched the field repeatedly before digging it's fingers into the AT-field with rage, it eventually tore through the angel's shield. And when it did, unit-01 immediately attacked the core of sachiel.

Unit-01 slammed it's fists onto sachiel's core repeatedly while growling in anger: it's fists smashing viciously into the bright red core while the eva roared, the eva's assault on sachiel eventually ended when the third angel wrapped it's body around unit-01 and self-destructed, leaving a large smoke cloud behind.
The entire crew within nerv's fortress watched on in horror, hoping that the eva unit and it's pilot were safe; their hopes were answered when the purple evangelion marched towards nerv HQ, it's left eye missing, and the ruins of the city burning behind it.
