Chapter 1: Yet another recap

Dear Diary

It's me again, Star Strong.

A lot has happened these past few weeks.

Dad is still defending people and trying to bring justice. Mom is still trying to work on our relationship and we have spent more time together just the two of us, by having brunches, spa time and shopping together. She even brought my little brother Pierre and I am glad to spend time with him. He's getting bigger and is still a sweet kid. I still have hope that he won't grow up into being a clone of Jean-Puke or my nasty stepsister, Colette the Terror.

Yeah, Colette is still a pain. She is still trying to steal my boyfriend, who thankfully still can't stand her and who loves me.

In addition, a lot of major things have happened, such as my quarter-versary with Danny, where some things were forgotten but worked out in the end, me getting sick on Danny's birthday, us babysitting Pierre one weekend and we protected him from some jerk I will not mention and some other stuff as well but I wanna talk about the most important one, which is us celebrating our first Valentine's Day together.

While it started out wonderfully...well, I ended up getting...something... from some petty, poetry-obsessed creep with a grudge on my boyfriend but Danny saved me and I am okay now. Not to mention, you wouldn't believe the stunt Colette tried to pull on that same holiday. She tricked Danny into signing a paper that says that he was in love with her and tried to show it to everyone in order to break us up. Thankfully, we managed to turn things on her and Danny and I are still together.

Another pain we had to deal with that night was my ex-boyfriend Kwan. I still can't believe what he tried to do on Valentine's Day. He actually tried to get back together with me and get me to come back to the A-Listers when he thought Danny had been cheating on me. I was quick to tell him that not only are Danny and I still together but I also told him the reasons why I broke up with him and why I quit the A-list. I also told him about how wrong the A-Listers and their stupid code is and I also pointed out that Kwan always cared about his popularity more than our relationship before rejecting him.

I know it hurt him when I said that and while Kwan isn't the worst jock in the A-Listers, he had to hear what I had to say. He had to accept that we are over and I love Danny.

Anyway, aside from all that, things are good. Dad even says that he might be able to get some time off soon and I am really looking forward to that. Especially since the last time we spent any time together, just the two of us, was when we took that vacation while our house was being repaired from the damage those Idiots In White did.

I really, really hope that he gets it, since he has been working so hard and I really am looking forward to it.

On another matter, Val and I are still the best friends (and things have been better since she has been brought into the loop) and things with Sam and Tucker are still okay. I gotta admit that they have been growing on me and in Sam's case, things have been better since last Valentine's Day. I don't know why but I have felt less tension around her since then, though I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Also, as I mentioned before, Danny and I are still in love and things have been better after he proved that I am his true love.

Yes, true love. That was the most important thing that has happened.

I can now tell people I have a true love!

It's amazing and I am so happy.

Everything is wonderful!

Danny and I are together and stronger than ever. Plus, Dad and I will soon be able to spend time together just the two of us.

Yeah, life is good.

I have great friends, a great team and I have a true love!

Yeah, my life is great and that's not changing any time soon.

Star finished writing in her diary, placed it in her usual hiding spot and went to go get ready for her date with Danny tonight.

"Danny..."Star thought in a smitten way as she thought about her true love.

Once done, she left her room and went downstairs...only to bump into her father. He had just come out of the kitchen, with some water in his hands.

"Oh...Hey Dad..."Star said in a sweet way as she gave him a hug.

"Someone is in a good mood..."Johnathan commented.

"Well, I'm going to the Nasty Burger with Danny..."The blonde girl said.

"Alright, just remember to be back by curfew...and stay safe..."He said.

"I will Dad, don't worry..."Star said before she kissed him on the cheek.

She then left to go meet with her boyfriend. Her father saw this and shook his head.

He knew that she and Danny have gotten closer, and have even made it to the "I love you" part of a relationship...something he is still not used to. Johnathan sighed. He trusts his daughter and he wants her to be happy. Plus, Danny Fenton is a good kid and he knows that he is treating her right.

He'd better or he'd be dealing with him.

Johnathan looked in the direction where his daughter left and sighed.

"She really is in love, isn't she?..."He commented.

"Yeah, she is..."Georgia, who had been in the middle of making dinner, heard him and commented.

The blonde father said nothing as he went upstairs.

"At least, Star is happy and Danny is better than her last boyfriend..."He thought as he went to go finish his water in his study.

Once he was there, his cell phone rang. He checked his phone and smile when he saw a familiar number.

"Hello..."Johnathan said, looking more positive now.

"Hello, Johnathan..."A voice was heard.

One that made the middle-aged man smile.
