Gensokyo And The Blueballs Incident

(EDIT: I FIXED IT! NOW CIRNO DIES IN A MORE CANONICAL WAY! ARE YOU HAPPY? ALSO, I FIXED SOME OTHER STUFF!)

(Ok, before you go about saying "HOW GODDAMN FAR DID YOU STRAY FROM CANON?" in the reviews, I want to state that I've been an FNF fan longer than a Touhou fan, so don't expect me to know everything about Touhou. Also, I'm taking into account that one mod that made BF go to and know what Gensokyo is and its residents. Play it here: /mods/43128

Also, I may or may not have put someone else's Touhou OC in this story, so I'll do them a favour and put the link of their fanfic here: s/13688204/1/The-Magician-of-Rainbow-Light

Anyways, enough of my (indirect) advertising. Read the story now and stop reading my notes… Baka…)

Suika Ibuki went over to the blue-haired outsider after Flandre Scarlet had finished singing with him, in which she was impressed with his singing capabilities.

"It's been quite a few weeks without your girlfriend, hasn't it?" Suika asked the outsider.

Beep.

"She's probably worried, and you probably wanna go back by now, huh? Especially after that idiot fairy tried to freeze you to death after you mistook her for your younger sister…"

Beep, he replied with a little chuckle.

"Tell you what," she said. "I know a person by the name of Nijiko Akimitsu who can sense the auras of many different people based on their power level. I'm certain we can find a way to somehow pass those powers onto you, so you can always sense everyone and therefore find this place once again – even though it's your Girlfriend who has the power to go through portals…"

BF looked up excitedly.

Beep Boip Bap!

"Well, then, I guess I'll ask Yukari to find a way to contact GF, and we'll go to Nijikko-sama!"

The two then stood up, and left Flandre and her big sister Remilia to argue about taking the spotlight.

-A Couple Months Later-

BF and GF were on Miku's concert stage with Pico and Miku as they sang "OK Friday" as a goodbye before Miku's concert was going to start.

"But still! Why can't you stay?" Miku asked, giving BF a cute little pout.

"I'd love to stay and watch the concert, but I got some business with the TCF (Trollge Containment Foundation). It's important – if I don't go, no one might be even able to come and watch the concert alive." BF sighed sadly. He genuinely really wished he could stay, but saving the world came first. He didn't want to see Miku – no, he didn't want to see anyone suffer in the hands of the Trollge.

"At least let me come this time," Pico offered. "I could offer support or somethin', and besides, this Trollge creature don't seem to tough. Me, Nene and Darnell did stop the Penilians from trying to invade the world and I did single-handedly defeat a telekinetic maniac when I was 10 years old."

As determined BF was to protect everyone from said Trollge, he was also a bit lazy to explain why Trollge could easily destroy both the Penilians and Alucard whilst twisting Pico into an atomic pretzel at the same time.

"Welp, if you die, don't come haunting me if you do," BF let out another sigh. "Anyways, see ya, Miku-nee!"

As the siblings waved each other, they walked out of LA to see a black car parked outside with two bodyguards outside wearing suits, earpieces and glasses.

BF and GF knew too well who would be inside the car.

The window was lowered, and Derpina examined the trio.

"Sup, Agent Blueballs and Agent Cherry," she said. "Who's the upside-down carrot?"

Pico pulled out his Uzi in rage, but BF managed to lower his hands and calm him down.

Meanwhile, the bodyguards had tasers aimed at the hitman's nuts.

"Jeezus, Pico," BF said. "This is Commander Derpina, one of the heads of the TCF. She gives us all the info for our missions. You even try to shoot her and they'll tase your balls before feeding you to the many Trollge we've contained."

Pico was still mad at them, but kept his gun on his side.

"So, what did you call us for? Also, Pico here is with us," GF asked. "What's so important that BF here has to miss his sister's concert?"

Derpina lowered her glasses, the usual smile on her face replaced with a flat line.

"Are you questioning the importance of the TCF's cause?" she asked. "And I'll explain in the car. It might get a little personal – especially for your Boyfriend here."

BF was surprised.

But before he could ask, he had already entered the car, which started driving.

"Gensokyo," Derpina started. "BF here knows it well."

BF nodded, and remembered the good times he had there.

Well, that, and the fairy he thought was his little sister for a moment.

("LITTLE SISTER" IS NOT MIKU! YES, I KNOW THAT BF IS 19 AND MIKU IS 16, BUT IN THE CANON LORE OF THE GAME MIKU WILL BE OLDER THAN BF! I'M REFERRING TO THE LITTLE SISTER WHO REPLACES GF IN THE VS. BF's FAMILY MOD!)

"Beep ba?" BF asked.

"Oh, for fuck's sake, I just head you speak English to your ex, might as well speak English to me now," Derpina replied sharply.

"Alright, alright, chill," GF calmed her down. "Just tell us what's happening in Gensokyo that made the TCF involved."

Derpina sighed. Then, her own tears started to form on her eyes.

"We finally found Derp… but by then, Smiler had changed him so much that he no longer classified as human. He was a hybrid of human and Trollge. We contained him, right next to Smiler. And little did I know that that was the stupidest shit I'd done on my part of this whole thing."

She sniffed and pulled out a handkerchief to wipe her eyes.

"Derp had gone insane from all the subliminal messages that the bastard Trollge put in his mind," she explained. "When he realised that Smiler was next to his cell, he literally jumped for joy and constantly clawed the wall, trying to dig through it to go there. He made laughing noises that I can never get out of my head."

Derpina shook from the memory, and GF sat next to her to comfort her, patting her back.

"Then, Derp gave up. But not fully. He said something like, 'If I can't get to my dear master, then I'll just have myself die to let him spread his goodwill to the world!' before somehow using all his life force, and died. At the same time, a portal opened up in Smiler's cell, and he smiled at the camera before breaking it. When we opened it, he was gone. That monster…"
Derpina broke down, crying loudly. GF hugged her and Derpina put her face on her shoulder.

BF and Pico felt major sympathy for the TCF head. They expressed their pity whilst giving her a pat on the back.

"We're sorry…" BF muttered.

"Now here's where it gets personal for BF. We were able to trace where the portal lead off to, and where else could it go off to then Gensokyo itself. The residents are in danger – even the strong gap yòkai that lives there."

"Wait, WHAT?" BF yelled.

His friends back there…

The fairy…

Suika…

BF was now the one having a breakdown, but more of a panicky one than a teary one.

"Dude, calm down," Pico attempted, but failed. Still, he continued. "We'll stop that thing, no matter its strength."

The mood in the car wasn't the best thing GF had felt, but she knew that she'd been through worse.

-A couple minutes later-

They were now in the facilities of the TCF, were BF held the mic with the anti-troll protein with malicious intent. Pico was frightened of his ex's expression – he'd never seen BF look so murderous. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know much about the Trollge, but he did have his own experience of fighting monsters.

But judging from how BF – a person who might as well defeat an entity who could eat gods for breakfast – was scared for Gensokyo, Pico sweated nervously.

How dangerous is this thing? He thought to himself.

And how much does he trust this Derpina? He's no longer beeping to her like he usually those with other people…

GF was starting to wonder if it was OK that the sense of trouble, fear and dread was being a constant pain in the ass during all their time that they'd been together. All the two of them ever wanted was each other, not constantly being interrupted by someone who was either pissed at her, BF or her parents or just wanted to sing. And sometimes, those encounters actually hurt – like that time with Uncle Trololo. GF shook from the memory of her uncle spurting out black oily liquid from his mouth before being possessed by some parasitical entity and chasing them with an axe. Or those black-eyed, toothy puppets that somehow stitched together to create a creepy-ass abomination.

"Hurry up already," Derpina urged them.

"For god's sake, Derpina, I'm panicking as much as you are," BF replied, an annoyed tone in his voice. "But if we want to make sure this thing's dead instead of contained, we have to prepare carefully."

"Carefully. Right. ALL YOU'RE DOING IS HOLDING A MIC WITH ANTI-TROLL GODDAMN PROTEIN!" she yelled.

"Break it up, you two! We're headed to Gensokyo now, and we don't need any emotions making irrational decisions for us," GF exclaimed whilst shaking her head.

She then stood in front of a platform, and snapped her fingers. It took a full minute for her powers to be able to manipulate Gensokyo's barrier, so she could open it and travel inside via one of her own portals whilst making sure the barrier wasn't broken.

When it did, she wiped some sweat out of her forehead out of exhaustion.

"Aight, everyone ready?" Pico asked.

Everyone nodded. Meanwhile, Derpina looked at the trio with a jealous look in her eye – she really wanted to get her hands on Smiler, but judging from her emotional state, she couldn't do it. It would only endanger the team.

They walked through the portal. Before BF did, though, he took a look back at a sad Derpina, and gave her a sympathetic smile and a wave before hopping in.

It closed, and Derpina started editing TCF_File_Case23…

Whilst They Were Travelling To Gensokyo…

"I ain't got time for your crap, idiot fairy."

Before Daiyousei knew what was happening (despite already knowing where it was going), a ginormous rainbow laser beam flew past her, and she immediately felt sympathy for Cirno as she heard a terrified scream, a distant "Oof" nearby the forest next to the river and the Scarlet Devil Mansion and dizzy groans.

She then looked at the ordinary magician that created the blast.

"You know, you could've just flown past her instead of blasting her away," Daiyousei sighed to her.

"She'd just follow me and try to freeze me again," Marisa Kirisame replied. Despite this reason, she was also getting bored that they were having this exchange for the 50th time this month.

"Alright, I'mma go over to Patchy's library now if you don't mind," she said before zooming past the fairy and to the Scarlet Devil Mansion.

Daiyousei shook her head and flew toward the forest.

She then felt that something was wrong.

Why do I feel immense power coming from the forest? And in the distance, why are all the trees turning grey?

I should probably get Cirno and leave as soon as possible – maybe even report this to the shrine maiden…

Wait, where IS Cirno?

After a couple of minutes flying around the now eerie and lifeless forest, she finally saw her. She had just woken up, and rubbed the back of her head as she sat on the what was now black soil. There were scars aplenty all over the ice fairy's petite body.

"Cirno! There you a-"

Suddenly, a black hand – or was it a claw? – shot out from behind the fairy and grabbed her by the neck. Out of surprise, Cirno let out a shocked scream that was swiftly replaced with choking gargles before she was pulled into the colourless vegetation.

She then saw the bushes the hand came from start to rustle, and the dead greenery around it also seemed to rustle.

The thing that took CIrno was on the move.

"CIRNO!" Daiyousei cried and flew after her.

The chase continued for several minutes, the thing somehow managing to move at speeds that would impress a tengu. Luckily, its movements were just in view for Daiyousei to follow. She'd nearly crashed trees out of over-concentration, but was otherwise fine.

It stopped, and it revealed its true appearance in a circular clearing in the forest. It almost looked like the trees were doing some sort of ritual, what with how empty the clearing was empty and the perfection of the shape it formed.

But Daiyousei was more concerned about what took Cirno.

And she had never been so terrified in her life.

Just looking at the thing alone gave her an everlasting sense of dread. Realizing the fact that it was the source of the immense power she had felt made her spine feel colder than Cirno's icicle wings on a winter night.

She saw how its white head (… or skull?) was shaped nearly like a monstrous jelly bean, with wrinkles and lines all over it. Its body was of black, nearly stick-like bones with what seemed to be marrow spilling out black, viscous liquid. Its hands and feet were super long. This was definitely not a human.

So what was it?

How am I supposed to know? Daiyousei thought as she watched from behind a tree.

Somehow, Cirno was still alive, coughing heavily and taking in large deep breaths as she weakly crawled away.

What the two fairies didn't know – and the creature did know – was that her efforts would be in vain.

The thing outstretched its black fingers and neatly hooked itself onto the fairy's legs, and dragged her across the floor whilst laughing their head off as if it was the funniest thing ever. Its voice was deep and monotone-like. Its smile frightened Daiyousei, causing her to stay back instead of immediately challenge the thing.

"Oh, little creature," it said with a little giggle. "You've become the first to be trolled in this wonderful place!"

Cirno cleared her throat, then tried to stand up. However, she was too tired, so she settled for turning her body toward the thing.

As she gazed upon it, fear immediately struck her heart, but she had to try and intimidate it.

"I… I am Cirno, the strongest fairy of Gensokyo!" she announced in a voice of both fear and confidence. "No one messes with me!"

"Ah, so this place is called Gensokyo? And you are Cirno, the strongest fairy here?" he asked. "Well, Cirno, if you're the strongest here, then you can consider Gensokyo to be severely altered due to my lovely trolling. And it'll start with YOU."

Before anyone knew what was happening, it managed to extend four of its fingers long enough to be able to wrap around Cirno's legs and limbs.

"W-what are you doing?" she asked worriedly.

It didn't reply, only smiling back at her.

"3…"

"2…"

"1…"

After the countdown, Daiyousei started to regret staying behind the tree.

Cirno's extremely loud yells echoed throughout the forest as the fingers wrapped around her arms started to stretch away from her body.

"STOP!" she yelled, wanting to scream how much in pain she was but needed to sound strong. "IF… IF YOU DO ANYTHING MORE, I WILL FREEZE YOU!"

It stopped stretching for a moment but maintained the position the fingers had been doing it.

"Oh, really now?" it said. "Ok. Try!"

And with that, Cirno thought she succeeded. It lent out its arm toward her. Despite the tightness of the things that had bound her arms and legs, she was able to get her hands onto its arm and then focused all her power in its arm.

She really thought that she had succeeded when frost started to appear on its arms, then ice.

However, it simply laughed and the next thing she knew she had thrown her hands off its arm as it suddenly felt as hot as that fires of the Hell of Blazing Fires. The ice on its arm turned to water.

"Oh, little one, it seems all your boasting didn't pay off," it laughed. "Welp, its time for a little troll."

It slowly made its fingers stretch her limbs and legs even more, to her dismay. Screams turned to desperate screeches and yells for help. Tears were going down like waterfalls from her eyes as the pain grew greater and greater. She felt bones crack and joints dislocate or be ripped in half completely.

Then, just as the tension stopped, the pain sharply increased like a sudden explosion.

Cirno exclaimed out of surprise and pain once again as she fell to the ground without any of her legs and arms. She cried on the floor as blood dripped out of the spaces where her body parts where.

Daiyousei kept watching, frozen by how horrific the whole scene was. The thing practically tortured her, what with the whole slowly puling and tearing her limbs out and then letting her bleed out without any sympathy. Just maniacal laughter. She had to help her friend.

At least, that's what she kept telling herself. But she was immobilised by fear.

Don't worry¸ she tried to calm herself. She's a fairy, remember? It's only if the element that she came from somehow gets blasted out of existence… or reality, whatever – she'll be fine.

And sure enough, as Cirno kept breathing heavily, the monster was slightly taken aback to see that her arms and legs were slowly regrowing. Somehow, there were large scars on her shoulder, visible due to the cloth of her sleeves being torn from the pulling tension.

"S…See?" she started. "Told you I was the strongest! As long as there's ice in this world, I forever live!"

The thing stood there for a moment, before turning its curious frown into a large smile.

"…I see now," he chuckled. "So in order for you to die, I have to find a way to make sure ice doesn't exist?"

Probably wasn't a good idea, but at least she's still alive, she thought.

"Welp. Looks like I'll just make the ice… disappear."

It sounded like a mad idea. No one can simply do that.

But what the two didn't know was the large capability and massive power the Trollge had.

He looked up, and snapped his fingers.

Silence.

Nothing happened at first.

"HA!" Cirno laughed. "Did you really think you could rid the world of ice just by snapping your finge- ACK!"

It looked at her and laughed back as the fairy fell to the ground. Daiyousei made a questioning grunt.

Meanwhile, Cirno fell to the ground, coughing heavily. She then felt a large, throbbing pain in her arms. As she looked at them, she realised that her arms seemed to be dissolving into ice flakes.

Desperately, she tried to stand up, screaming and crying for help once more as her body slowly disintegrated.

Through all that screeching, Cirno was able to look up to see Daiyousei staring at her with fear.

She then froze on the spot.

Not in the casual sense that people do when they realise something all of a sudden, but in the literal sense.

Ice engulfed the fairy, making her look like an expertly-made sculpture, before she eventually dissolved into some sort of light-blue powder.

Silence took hold once more.

Daiyousei was speechless.

H… how?

Emotion after emotion started to whirl around in her head, and soon their effects set in.

Inside, she was crying her heart out.

Inside, she was screaming out of anger and wanted to kill someone.

Inside, she was banging her consciousness on a mental wall frustratingly trying to find out how the thing – no, monster – pulled off what was meant to be an impossible trick.

Inside, her heart started to feel a little lonelier.

Either way, she was extremely uncomfortable.

In the clearing, the monster laughed, raising his head to the clouds as if it was the funniest thing he had ever seen.

Daiyousei had flown away now out of the forest.

"Ah, but you see," he talked to the pile of ice. "I'm not done with you yet. I sensed your friend watching the whole thing, but I'll let her grieve for you for now."

He then used a finger, which somehow managed to create a large bag. Afterwards, he scooped up the ice-y remains of the ice fairy into it.

"For you see, I need time to work on my next troll. And this one will be a special one for your friend."

It then walked out of the clearing.

-Following Daiyousei-
Crying was starting to hurt, especially when she was choking on her own tears whilst screaming and her eyes felt extremely painful from the constant wiping. Her throat could only satisfy her uncomforting phase for so long.

But Daiyousei decided to keep doing so.

She had every right to.

Cirno, the one she loved, was dead.

She was going to confess to her to, after all the years they had spent together. Her heart's feelings eventually bloomed like a flower to her after a long period of uncertainty due to them, and she wanted to have a chance to let them out.

However, that chance was just ripped out of her hands as if it was nothing – it was even laughed at.

Now I'll have to spend my immortality being devoured by loneliness…

She collided onto a tree. Daiyousei yelped in surprise and fell back onto the black ground.

Frustration replaced her self-pity, and she stood up and let out a tremendous yell. It was close to that of a primitive battle cry from the wars in the past.

She punched the tree. Many, many times.

Her fists hurt but she didn't care. By then they were so numb that satisfaction seemed to come more than pain.

However, just as she was ready to give the tree a right uppercut, she saw something.

In all the black soil was a flower.

A flower with light-blue petals.

Just like Cirno's hair, wings and clothes.

It simply sat there, somehow unaffected by the thing that was causing the forest to be drained of all its colour.

It looked strong, but also… lonely.

…If slightly idiotic for growing in one of the most lifeless places on Earth.

Like Cirno, before she met Daiyousei.

The resemblance of the two struck the green-haired fairy, and in that moment took her out of most of her misery.

Cirno may have not been there, not now, but the flower reminded her that she would always be in her heart.

She stopped punching the tree, realizing that she had made a large crack that almost made the tree fall down.

Being a fairy of nature, Daiyousei immediately felt shameful for what she did. She shouldn't be harming the trees, especially when they're already extremely lifeless. Acknowledging that the flower was facing her, it was like Cirno had been watching her – and Cirno, despite being the usual baka she is, would always try to help out if something was wrong.

But… she wasn't here right now.

"I… I'm sorry," she told the flower. "It's just so hard to lose you after all these years…"

She stood there, staring back and forth at the tree and the flower.

Then, she kneeled down and gave the flower a sad smile.

"Well, there is one way I can make sure I don't lose you again…"

She took the flower and put it on the pocket near her neck.

Then, she flew off, going to the Hakurei shrine to report that a new and extremely dangerous incident had come to Gensokyo.

-In the wormhole (or more specifically, the path between the portals to the TCF and Gensokyo)-
"L-look, it's been a long time since I've had to go through a portal, okay? So don't be mad at me because I'm currently feeling dizzy-"

He threw up, and the vomit was sent to whatever unfortunate person had been underneath that part of the portal of the many universes present.

GF and Pico, who were used to portals, weren't disturbed in the slightest and ignored BF.

Suddenly, the little device that Derpina usually gave them so that they could talk to each other in different places and universes rang in Pico's trousers.

"Hey, Derpina. What's up?" GF asked when Pico pulled it out from them, answered it and pointed it at her.

"Just got news – and it's pretty serious…" she replied.

Then, Derpina showed them a recording of what appeared to be a news channel. The text that was labelled in large, bold white font said 'ANTARCTIC GONE!'.

The newswoman then continued started to talk.

"We have received breaking news that not just Antarctica, but also the Arctic have suddenly vanished! Scientists have reported that no sign of waters rising was found, confusing the masses."

Then, someone – most likely the producer – came in and whispered something.

"More just in NOW – apparently the cold has disappeared! Let's see here – snow on all the mountains are gone, temperatures have risen in places that it should be cold, and ice can no longer be created by any means necessary! Weather predictions show no sign of snow and hail fall coming any time soon… What is happening to the world?"

Everyone was shocked by the surprise. Even BF stopped being dizzy.

"What the fuck has the Trollge done now?" GF asked.

She knew that it could alter reality at will, but why did it have to do that?

That's when they realised that they were no longer in a falling wormhole, but on the doorstep of what appeared to be a slightly old and dusty shrine, empty except for a girl with large brown horns, long golden hair and a red bow drinking sake on a kotatsu watching the outsiders.

"Suika!" BF said.

"Ayo, Boyfriend!" Suika Ibuki replied.

The two gave each other a tight hug.

"Been a long time since we've seen each other, eh? How's your girl? Hey, Girlfriend – and who's the carrot?"

"We're all good, and the 'carrot' is Pico," BF chuckled as GF restrained Pico from putting the oni in a chokehold.

"Anyways, where's Reimu?"

Suika then gave a slightly worried expression and pointed behind them.

When they turned around, BF and GF sighed.

-A couple of minutes later-
"You can't just try and chokehold someone for calling you a carrot – besides, you look like one," BF lectured. "And Reimu, next time don't try to throw my friend onto a tree at the speed of that crow tengu. Now the both of you, say sorry."

The shrine maiden and the bounty hunter looked at each other, before giving out an exasperated groan.

"Fine, we're sorry," they said, shaking hands.

"Anyways, why are you here, BF?" Reimu asked.

"Yeah, and with your GF and the ca – I mean, Pico, this time," Suika went on.

"REIMU!"

An extremely worried voice rang outside the shrine.

"Aww, and just as I was getting comfy in the kotatsu with everyone – I was about to get y'all to try this new sake!"

Everyone walked out to see Daiyousei running up the steps with bloodshot eyes, cuts all over her wrists and her dress all dirty and with scratches.

BF remembered her – she was the friend of the fairy that tried to freeze her.

Those were quite the good times. Cirno looked so cute when she was boasting, and it was pretty funny to see her friends be sarcastic and play along.

However, Daiyousei stood out the most – she was the kind one in the group, and thanked BF when he pretended to be defeated and allowed himself to be frozen temporarily to make the fairy feel proud.

It was quite a shock to see her in such a distraught state.

"Woah! Are you alright?" he asked. He decided to drop the beeping for this mission – even if it meant being out of his comfort zone.

"Boyfriend! IT'S YOU!" she cried, immediately giving him a hug and crying into his shirt.

She did this for a long period of time.

"Hush, now, I'm here," BF said after a while. "Now, what's wrong?"

She looked up at him with the most emotional and traumatised eyes.

Jeezus, did she go in a war or something? She's so… sad, BF thought.

"Cirno's… dead…"

Aight. Chapter 2 is coming soon, and you bet your LIFE that this will be a finished fanfic unlike my other Konosuba fanfic…

Anyways, thanks for reading Chapter 1! Lol
