I Won't Let You Go

This is based on a scene from Spirit Untamed where Lucky's father saves her from drowning, Tom rescues Sonic from drowning after Robotnik pushes them into the ocean at Sonic's Island (father/son moment)

Sonic's POV

Me and Knuckles ran as fast as we could and Tails was flying as he caught up with us. Robotnik was chasing after us, "Get to the bridge!" Knuckles yelled and we followed after him.

Normal POV

Robotnik had the hedgehog, fox and echidna just where he wanted. He smiled and laughed evilly at the same time, "(Laughs Evilly) Pathetic! Goodbye!" He pushed the button and his ship shot out missiles that flew towards the bridge! Sonic turned around, his eyes widened when he saw the missiles were flying towards him and his friends! "(Gasps) Look Out!" The pair tried to run but it was too late! The missile exploded and destroyed the bridge which sent Sonic,Tails and Knuckles Falling to their watery grave. They screamed as they fell. Tom and Maddie searched for their blue son "Sonic! Where are you?!".

Sonic gasped for air as he surfaced but the water pulled him under, he surfaced again as he gasped for air and coughed, But wait! Where were Knuckles and Tails? He looked around but he couldn't find Knuckles or Tails anywhere, "(Coughing) Tails! Tails! (Weak voice) I-I can't anymore" He yelled but no answer came as he was pulled underwater again. Tom turned around and saw the blue hedgehog was nearly drowning, Tom panicked "Oh-No! Sonic!" He began running to save Sonic as Maddie ran after him. Sonic fighted to stay afloat but his body couldn't anymore he sunk underwater as he was starting lose consciousness,

Suddenly Tom dove into the water, He wrapped his arm around the kid's waist and held him tightly as he swam to the surface, Tom and Sonic gasped for air and Tom swam as he used right arm and kicked his legs "I got you buddy, I won't let you go!" but Tom and Sonic were getting pulled underwater, Tom felt something grab his right hand, "Grab on!"

"Tails!" Sonic yelled, happy to see him.

Tails grabbed Tom's hand and used his flying abilities and helped Tom and Sonic swim to shore as Tom kicked his legs.

Back on land, Maddie and Knuckles ran down the shore, "There they are!" Knuckles yelled as he spotted Sonic, Tails and Tom swimming towards land "Tom! Sonic!" When Tails and his friends made it to shore he released Tom's hand and Tom placed Sonic down.

"You okay Sonic?"

I'm ok Donut Lord"

Sonic, Tom, Maddie and Tails and Knuckles embraced.
