Sup guys? Time for another story. This one about Azur Lane Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Azur Lane, Shanghai Manjuu, Ximen Yongshi and a few others do.
Do you want to know the thing about being the world's punching bag? It made you very bitter and willing to lash back at the planet.
This was what Graf Zeppelin, the sole aircraft carrier in the entire Ironblood empire thought. She struggled not to vanish below the waves.
Damn the North Union for raising her from the dead only to blast at her only to fail. She was destined for more than this, wasn't she? Meant for more then to vanish under the waves as another causality of war.
"Ugh…" Graf muttered as she fought not to die in these waters, she was not going to die in these waters, forgotten to time and mocked as a failure of the military who abandoned her.
She dragged herself through the water, pain seemed to seep from every part of her body.
"Damn this… Damn them." Graf hissed while she continued to slowly 'crawl' through the water. "I'll kill all of them." Graf said with a hiss before collapsing on the shore.
Graf hissed in pain, at least she wouldn't sink under the waves. This wasn't much better, however? Graf was glad ship girls couldn't die on land like human made vessels would.
"Where am I?" Graf asked as she looked around, curious as to what was going on around her.
Graf blinked and let out a sigh, the Ironblood was falling apart. Graf didn't know what her comrades were doing, but they had long since joined the allies against the sirens.
"I need to rest," Graf stated to no one. "I need to plan and find out what to do next." Graf added as she checked her options.
Despite the North Union's best attempt to dismantle her? She still had enough life to function. Graf launched a single drone, she wasn't stupid. The planes each carrier had on their person weren't manned as each carrier wasn't human.
Still? Each drone she carried was connected to her, meaning she could see what they saw.
Graf was cut off by swirls of energy, it came slow at first. Bits of sand were pulled upward into the stream of unknown origin. Graf blinked before being forced to shield her eyes as she recalled the drone to herself.
"What power is this?" Graf asked while struggling to maintain her footing in the sand.
The portal crackled, jagged bolts of lightning scorched sand all around her as it grew large enough to encapsulate a ship girl inside.
She blinked as she looked through the energy as a being… 2 beings, collapsed from the portal which vanished with a crack of lightning, burning the sand and throwing trees and rocks everywhere.
Graf blinked and looked at the two beings, she recognized at least one of them as a former enemy of the Ironblood and someone who perished in the battle against the North Union.
Dunkerque. Graf didn't know who the other being was, his dark black hair, the bomber jacket which also seemed to have a few red symbols which resembled the army. His blue boots as well and rifle like weapon didn't remind her of anything on Earth.
"And that was the last skip we got." Dunkerque said as she slowly got up and looked around.
"Graf!?" Dunkerque asked with sheer glee. It wasn't returned by Graf who felt nothing but misery. "Good, you didn't turn evil." Dunkerque stated as she looked at the carrier who couldn't at all understand what she was.
Dunkerque was dead, the Ironblood confirmed her demise in an ambush launched by the sirens. They had watched her body vanish below the waves before vanishing from memory.
Yet here she was, almost no worse for wear? She survived an ambush which would have killed almost anyone else? Damn her, damn her to hell and back.
"Is everyone else ok!?" Dunkerque asked her friend as Graf turned to the side before deciding to just entirely ignore the phantom in front of her.
There was far too much for her to currently deal with. Graf collapsed into the sand, kicking off her shoes, peeling off her stocking and deciding to rest.
She turned to look at the fake Dunkerque. Graf saw she was busy checking on her new friend.
Author Notes
Phew, first chapter done! I want to point out that I was going to originally make these 2 stories but didn't want to waste ideas. Next chapter is going to be in a few weeks and will show the new character, introduce the villains and show off Dunkerque. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
P.S: New Azur Lane stories will be coming down the road and all that.
