Just a few notes before the story begins.
* Title: Souvenirs Des Morts or Memories of the Dead
* This is fiction, all fiction. I've tried to keep it as true to the time period as possible and I always research, but my focus is on the characters not the historical accuracy of the story.
* I love King Louis... I had a blast writing him! I also gave him more of a backbone than what was portrayed in the series. He's just a great character to write!
* Athos is my favorite... most of my stories will center around him. I make no apologies for that.
* This story takes place right after S1 E3: Commodities - so yes, there are spoilers.
* I normally post a story in it's completion, but I'm short on time time. I'll do my best to post on a daily basis. This story is complete... and it is long (I have yet to write anything short)
