This is set during the Curse of the Black Spot. I thought Rory might be a little annoyed that he was dying again. I wrote this in about ten minutes for school, so sorry if it's crap.
Rory hated dying, yet here he was doing it again.
This time there was a chance, a chance he wouldn't actually die. Just have the be revived instead.
but there was a chance that this was the end. It wasn't a dream, and the Doctor couldn't reset the universe again.

( It broke his heart a little when he found at she had, for a bit, given up).
