Rise from Ashes

Mondo Hase pursued non-committal casual relationships, opposite of all his brothers. He seems the Black Sheep of the family, an all around bad boy with a heart of gold, but falling in love with Meo Mimasaka might just be his worst mistake. His heart may be left torn to pieces or can they rise from the ashes of despair together. Based on new characters and original manga cast.

1. Chapter 1

Sitting in his office chair, reviewing last night's sales slips, yawns hugely, as the successful owner of Nine Fox Tails Night Club, smiles, proud, his club is growing so popular amongst the younger crown. He tilts his head back, closes his eyes, nearing thirty years old, the club scene is exhausting. He feels less and less inclined or motivated to spend time here but feel obligated to run this place. His commanding nature is unwilling to relinquish the reins to any of his other trusted employees.

Slightly closing his eyes, mind drifts, feels himself drifting off to sleep. Mondo Hase is the stereo typical tall, dark and handsome type. His layered dark chestnut hair, mid length, spike out at the ends, deep dark mysterious nutmeg eyes, classic asymmetrical nose, full heart shaped upper lip, with equally plump lower lip; sexy, kissable lips. He's a sharp, quick witted, savvy business man, who commands everyone's attention. Everyone naturally gravitates towards him, trusts, respects. His life is great, just that persistent shadow.

Looking at his desk, sees the framed picture of five, tall, handsome brothers, arms wrapped around one another, all smiling into the camera. His brothers, Kiro Nishikado, Kai, Aomi, and Mizuto Hase. All of them great men, especially his oldest brothers found terrific girls, all married, with families. Mondo felt inadequate, he spent all of his twenties dating, sleeping around, starting the night club, just not living a chaste life in any form, not to say they did either. Yet somehow, their dalliances were different, they had all settled down with their true loves and had children. He frowns, truthfully, playing the field is tiresome, and he longed for that one special girl. His eyes fell on the other framed picture, a couple, older, handsome, still in love, after so many years, his parents, Tenma and Yuki Hase. Their love lasted many challenges, but in the end a strong friendship stabilized the base. Mondo can only wish to find a girl who he can find the same companionship, love and friendship as his parents have been blessed with all these many years.
