Natasha Romanoff, the only girl that had captured his heart and then proceeded to hold on to it with it going ice cold. This was the girl that Steve was thinking of as he made his way back to his Safe House located off-grid. This wasn't going to be just any return from a mission though. The team were coming over, as this was almost a Stark Tower but smaller, to the safehouse so they could finally have a funeral for her. She had been M.I.A. for three years and only now did the team feel able to put her to rest. Clint and Steve had been the most adamant about holding it but they felt it was finally time.

Steve quickly landed the quinjet and packed up his gea. He lowered the ramp down and began to trudge down the figurative plank reluctantly.

'You look terrible punk'

Steve whipped his head around. There was only one person that called him that but nonsense he had been dead for years. There was no way he could be alive just like Natasha. And then Steve looked. The world came crashing down. Bucky. Bucky, his best friend that had supposedly died decades ago, was standing in front of him with a huge smile on his face.

'This is nonsense. You are supposed to be dead. How can you be here?'

'Those devilish bastards found me'. Steve needed no explanation. He knew who Bucky was referring to. He meant HYDRA. Those monsters who kept on haunting the world looking for it's demise.

'Well I'm glad you're back. Going through some rough patches at the moment.'. Noticing Bucky's disappointed look he adds 'I'm sorry but I am having to bury my girl. And no not Peggy she's already gone.'

Bucky looks at him with sympathy in his eyes. 'It's hard bud. I had to do the exact same thing. Turned out she wasn't dead but I still had to go through all of that. Just then Steve hears footsteps coming up the stairs that lead to the helipad. Anxious, he brings out his shield and stands in a defensive position. Bucky however stands at ease as Steve notices.

A figure suddenly bursts through the door. 'I debugged the entire place and disabled the security system. We should be fine from HYDRA.' Steve knew that voice and as he zoned in the figure he realised it was her. He knew her smile in an instant. He knew the curve of her face. It was his own lovely lady. He couldn't do anything but stand there looking shocked. She came closer and he could see the moment when she realised who he was.

'Steve'. She came hurtling towards him and flung her arms around him. He picked her up and hugged her so tightly. She was back. She was here
