Allison and Leonard Church stood in their kitchen watching their two youngest children, Carol and Wilhelm, watch M.A.S.H on the large flatscreen TV.
"Look at those two. Carol is so good with her little brother." Allison said with a prideful smile.
"I know. I'm so proud of her." Leonard said with a smile.
"So where's Leo?" Allison asked.
"Work." Leonard says before leaning in toward Allison and whispering in her ear. "He's trying to save up enough money to buy his little brother an Xbox 343."
"Wow...I'm impressed." Allison said with a smile.
"He almost has enough too." Leonard said proudly.
When the M.A.S.H episode ended, Carol looked at her watch before getting up and telling her brother to go grab his backpack. After Wilhelm goes upstairs, Carol walks up to her parents.
"That'll give us about 10 minutes to talk." Carol said with a smile.
"You are horrible." Allison said to her daughter as she chuckled.
"I know, but I didn't want him to hear us." Carol explained.
"Oh...what are we going to talk about?" Leonard asked snarkily as he crossed his arms.
"Wilhelm's pets." Carol said.
"Here we go again. We're not..." Allison began.
"We should get him another one." Carol said with a sigh.
"That must hurt like a bitch to say." Leonard said chuckling.
"Yes, yes it does. However, I've noticed that Wilhelm is so much calmer whenever he has a dog with him, and..." Carol began.
"Mom!" Wilhelm shouted in concern from upstairs.
"Fuck!" Carol shouted.
Allison runs up the stairs.
"You didn't..." Leonard began to say as his his eyes widened.
"Of course not." Carol said.
"Io is okay!" Wilhelm shouted.
"Phew! Disaster avoided." Leonard said in relief.
When Wilhelm came downstairs, he almost went out the front door before his mother grabbed his backpack and pulled him back inside.
"What!?!" Wilhelm asks in a loud voice.
"You can't wear your hood in the building, but you have to keep your earpiece in at all times." Allison said holding her son's earpiece in her hand.
"Oh...sorry, mom." Wilhelm said apologizing.
"No worries, kiddo. Now go get on the bus you two. You don't want to miss it and have me take you to school."
Carol and Wilhelm cringe before walking out the door. However, as Carol was just about to walk out the front door when her mother gave her one last tidbit of information.
"And Carol..." Allison began.
"Yes, mom?" Carol asked.
"Watch you brother and make sure he doesn't get into trouble. You know how curious he gets. You also know how shy he gets." Allison explained.
"Yeah. Have a great day at work, mom!" Carol said with an excited smile.
When the two siblings get to the bus stop, they stand by themselves. However, when Wilhelm sees a tall, voluptuous, beautiful woman, his mind put her in a dream sequence in his eyes. When he snaps out of it, he slowly and nervously walks over to her. When his sister sees him standing next to her, her eyes widen in surprise.
"H-Hey, Ash." Wilhelm said to the woman.
"Hey, kiddo." Ash replied.
Ash looked at Wilhelm and carefully observed his body language to find that he was extremely nervous, and came to the conclusion that he wanted to ask her something that he thought would be extremely personal.
"I-I-I wanted t-to..." Wilhelm began.
Ash patiently waited for Wilhelm to speak.
"I w-was w-wondering..." Wilhelm stuttered.
Ash smiled reassuringly as she listened to Wilhelm.
"Willyougooutwithme!?!" Wilhelm asked shouting before covering his mouth.
As Wilhelm waited for Ash's answer, a great dread came over him. As he looked for the subtle hints in her facial muscles, he couldn't find anything.
"Is this something you want? You think you can handle this?" Ash asked Wilhelm in a concerned yet humorous manner.
"I...I...I know I can." Wilhelm says surprising everyone.
Ash chuckled and pulled Wilhelm into a tight hug.
"ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!?!" A black teen with turquoise eyes shouted.
"Shut it, Lavernius." David said with a smile.
"I've been trying to hit that for a year! A full year! 365 days! And he just walks up to her, asks her to go out with him, and she says yes!" Lavernius ranted.
"Shouldn't that tell you something, Big Bro?" Michael asked.
"Shut it, Tiny." Lavernius said.
Despite the nickname, Michael was a helluva lot taller than Lavernius. It was a childhood nickname from when he was smaller than Lavernius. Lavernius was Michael's only brother even though Lavernius was adopted.
"Actually, Michael has a point. What do you think that means?" David asked.
"That she has an extremely strong will?" Lavernius asked.
"Dig a little deeper, Mickey Mouse." Carol said with a smirk.
Then it all clicked in Lavernius's mind.
"Fuckity Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" Lavernius shouted before falling to his knees and bursting into tears.
Everyone tried not to laugh.
"So she's been wanting him to ask her out this whole time?" Lavernius asked in a whiny tone.
"Yes, Lavernius. I've been waiting for Wilhelm to ask me out." Ash said as she turned her new boyfriend to show everyone his bright white happy smile.
Carol smiled when she saw her little brother's genuinely happy smile. When the bus arrived, everyone but Ash and Wilhelm got on first so that he wouldn't be alone. However, when they got on, Wilhelm received hated and disgusted looks from the other students. Ash felt her blood boil as her anger caused her eye color to change. Her iris changed from a dark spring blue to a dark crimson. The change caused everyone to freeze.
"When you watch your birthworld become a pile of white ash and scorching dust, then you can be mad at me because of the association of my world, Eridanus II, with the Insurrection." Wilhelm said with great venom, sincerity, and seriousness shocking his sister.
When they found an open seat, Ash sat down before Wilhelm and pulled him into her lap causing their friends to laugh after Wilhelm blushed a dark red when he realized where his head was. Tucker sat in the last seat on the right wiping away jealous tears. Carol watched her brother fall asleep in seconds whilst he lay against Ash's large breasts. She looked at her friend and pointed at her brother. Ash leaned down toward Wilhelm, she listened to his soft and steady breathing. She smiled and looked up at Carol before wrapping her arms around Wilhelm and covering him and herself up with a nanoblanket.
"Is it true? Wilhelm watched Eridanus II's glassing?" Ash asked Carol in a curious tone.
"Sadly, yes. Yes, he did." Carol said causing Ash to pull Wilhelm closer to herself and kiss the right side of his head.
"They've dated for less than an hour and look at how evolved their relationship is." Wilhelm's best friend and Carol's boyfriend, Eden (Epsilon), says with a smile as he sits in her lap.
"They've always acted like this towards each other, Eden." Carol explained.
"Oh..." Eden says before he smiles. "Are you and I that close?"
"Not as much as them, but very close." Carol said with a smile as she holds Eden and kisses the left side of his head.
When Eden falls asleep, Carol looks at her brother.
"You're always the lucky one." Carol says with a smile.
