The Bonds Of Friends And Family-Stargate SG-1 Season 1

Time-line: Eighteen months later after the trip to Abydos
Synopsis: Eighteen months after the mission to Abydos, and the base is attacked by the system lord Apophis, sworn enemy of the Sun God Ra, Major General George Hammond reactivates the surviving members of the Abydos expedition team. And creates the SGC, and Jack O'neill and Daniel Jackson are now part of the same team as they join with Captain Samantha Carter and Apophis's first prime.
And become the team meant to become the defense against Earth and the forces of every goa'uld in the galaxy and their first year. When as a team starts, as the memories of the original time-line activates as they see the mistakes they had done. And try to fix them, leading into when they were working together, as they spend a harrowing and suspenseful year together.
Warnings: This is going to follow the first season originally, but with one added change now, and said is that we added Jack's alter ego turned twin brother to this. And with it now is that Daniel is in the military as well here now, as he decided to retire from the field, till we hit mid season 1 and after that it turns into my other story in Season two, as season two comes to an end after Need.
With Jack's alter ego, he's getting everything that happened to him, before we hit Solitudes, which is when he was cloned now. And before we have his double coming from another reality and that's the change up now, as NID tries to turn Jack into their version. Said which is during Season 2, before Daniel catches them in the act during the aftermath mission in Need now here.
But all of Jack and Sam's episode monologue is now being taken on Jack's twin and his own version of Sam now starting from chapter 2. As their memories come back after the climax of the episode as the team get ready to go it again now starting now. But the series is staying cannon right up to Fire And Water and then goes alternate reality from Hathor and up to Need after that now.
But this story is going to have Jack acting like his double in the original MacGyver series, and his twin acting like him in the show, and till he's accidentally killed after being launched to the Antarctic after the system was over loaded after it got hit in Solitudes. So this is making a couple changes till we hit mid season 1, after Hathor comes into the picture and changes after leading into the four part cliffhanger.
This is going to be the full story of the aftermaths, as of Hathor, Enigma, and Solitudes and finally There, But For The Grace OF God, and canon up to Broca Divide, and after following the changes following the show up to Need and after that it enters the rewrite of Need from after he gets back on the base and changes directions from there.
And with it there is going to be a case of preparation for the movie Bruce Willis made that came out the following year here, as well as it starts. As they learn what really happens in the job and are training to handle things for the movie, with the fact this is the reset now. And of the original tv show time-line, as in this time-line, the special effects are close to being real, instead of the green screen here now.

A week later and Major John O'Neill is fully geared up in his military fatigues as Skaara and several of the boys are there, Colonel Jack O'Neill shakes hands with Skaara. Majors Lou Ferretti and Charlie Kawalsky are walking with Daniel up to the active Stargate. Daniel still wears native robes. "I always knew you'd get us back." Lou said to him smiling and he started laughing at that remark as his best friend answered that for him smiling then.
"Yeah right." Charles said with a laugh and he finished that after slapping Daniel on the arm. "Later." he said and Daniel said it gently as soon as John left the planet then and gently touched his arm at that. "Wait man, look as he's already left here, I better tell you this, but I'm an L.C." he said and they both nodded in shock. "Oh boy, and it's not me losing my temper at you, but Johnny here." Charlie said to him and he nodded to him.
"Yeah friends for life, but take these back with you, I'm retired starting now." he said as he removed his dog tags and passed them to him and he pocketed them. "Take care buddy." Lou said to him and he nodded gently as Charlie said it to him gently at that. "Thanks, Daniel." he said and Daniel nodded smiling as he watched him follow Lou through the event horizon, as Jack looked at him gently as he said it to him.
"Jack there was something, but you remember the 8 year old playing chess with you at Greer's house?" he asked and Jack nodded to him. "That was me, I'm that little boy." he said and Jack nodded in shocked amazement to that news. "You're my baby brother/cousin, if Uncle Quentin adopted you." he said and Daniel nodded. "Yeah man, but honestly, I couldn't ask for a better best friend man, I'm going to miss you guys." he said and Jack nodded to him.
"You sure you want to do this?" he asked and he nodded to him. "Yes, I'm sure, I'm retired from this operation starting now, but tell my godparents and our new commander, I'm staying here." he said and Jack nodded to him. "You gonna be all right?" he asked and they both look back at Sha're, who smiles at Daniel. "I'm gonna be all right. How 'bout you?" he asked him and he smiled gently at that remark and question
"Yeah." he and then chuckled as he said it to him then. "Yeah, I think so." he said and Daniel nodded smiling as they shake hands, as Jack starts up the final few steps, but Daniel holds him back. "Tell Catherine this brought me luck." he said and drops the Eye of Ra necklace into Jack's hand and he smiled as he answered him gently. "I will." he said and Daniel looked at him gently as he answered him then
"I'm going to miss you guys." Daniel told him and he smiled as he gave him a hug. "Take care of yourself brother, I'll come back for you, I promise." Jack said to him and he smiled at that as he stands framed by the active wormhole, then pauses. "I'll be seeing you around, Doctor Jackson." he said, using his civilian title as he turned steps through the Stargate...
Chapter 1: The Children Of The Gods I: The Base is Attacked
It had been close to 2 years since the events of the first mission and the gate had been shut down and now everyone involved were being shuttled. But that hadn't changed the need to keep the gate guarded, as General George Hammond had chosen to keep the gate room guarded on night and day shifts. And things were normal, so card games in the room were common and this card game was no exception in the latest night duty shift.
"Oh man, this hand's as lousy as this detail. All right, everybody, ante up." Sergeant MCfaft said as he was looking at a young female airman. "That's you too." he said to her as he deals. "Seven to the deuce, nothing there. Boss and the eight, nothing happening. Queen to the king, possible straight going there. Eight on the eight, and the jack gets a boss. Eights open." he said to them and they nodded to the remark as she said it to him.
"Aren't you guys afraid of an officer coming down here or something?" she asked and they shook their heads then. "Trust me, nobody ever comes down here but us." he said to her and she nodded as she answered him gently. Just as she was saying it then she looked at the stargate that was currently covered for the night as she saw it was looking like it was moving from the billowing cover as she said it to them gently.
"Does that thing always do that?" she asked and he looked at her. "Do what?" he said and she said it quickly at that. "Whatever it is under the tarp, I just…saw it move or do something." she said to him and he said it firmly at that. "We done good so far, but whoever was helping out for most of our technology, that probably the only thing it ever did was cost money." he said and his friend finished that remark then gently.
"Not quite so retired at the moment, instead Hammond ordered with the delay we're going on skeleton crew in case we get attacked here right now. And by whoever was Ra's opponent's outside of our allegiance to the quintet, and a minor to the trio in the most influential of the system lords, but for right now, we're training the cubs when Carter sends them up." he said and McFaft finished that gently at the remark then to her.
"Yeah, and it looks like they ran out of that, they've been shipping personnel out of here for months." he said to her gently at that remark then, as she answered him gently. "I'm telling you, the thing is moving!" she said and they sighed. 'Rookie is clearly getting spooked about being in here right now.' the guard thought sternly as he answered her. "If you don't have the straight, just fold." he told her and at that something clinks then
As she gets up from her seat and makes towards the covered item, as one of her team look at her gently at that. "Can we take that as a fold?" he asked and his partner said it gently at that to him. "Just finish the hand, she's out." he said, though just as he finished saying that remark then, the female airman approaches the tarp and starts up the ramp. 'Whoa, alright what's going on?' she thought as she said it slowly to them at this.
"Guys was there a reason we were on guard duty in here, if I'm new and you know what the hell this thing is?" she asked as in answer to that the room started shaking suddenly, they hear a rumbling sound, and she backs away down the ramp as it shakes along with the table where the other airmen are seated. The jump to their feet, hands to their guns. "What the…?" he said and and in response what was hidden is revealed then.
As the tarp flies from the device and reveals the Stargate spinning and active then as the guard stood up and pulls his gun up as he points it at the gate. "Whoa!" he snapped at that. "I take it this has never happened before?" she asked and he nodded. "No, and we were on guard duty, in case this ever happened after the man that got it figured out retired, a Lieutenant Colonel Jackson." he said slowly as he watched it carefully.
"General, we got incoming, and whoever it is, is not one of our guys or our quartet." the S.F. said into the radio at that. "Got it, stay clear, your youngest, tell her that, son the backlash, anything standing right in front of it when it turns on outgoing or incoming, we're coming, son." he said and they nodded. "Ahh shit, I forgot that part, anything standing right in front of the vortex..." the second S.F. said in shock and he nodded.
"Carol, stay away from that gate, I mean it, whatever gets launched through it, don't touch it." McFaft snapped at her as they pulled their phasers and had them aimed at the gate as they put the table up as shield then firmly. "Anything that stands in front of this thing when it opens is killed either way: when outgoing or incoming, if on either side of the gate, it's going to kill someone by the backlash." McFaft said to her and she nodded in shock.
As the other airman goes to the red phone on the wall as the other stand ready at the base of the ramp as something was thrown out of the gate and rolled in front of them as she moved closer to it and checked it over. "What are you doing?" he said to her as she reached the gate as a ball drops to the floor at her feet as it rolls glows, and seems to scan her bodily, itt falls still, and she bends down to touch it.
"What are you doing?" he snapped at her and the first quickly said it then. "Don't touch it!" he snapped to her as she picks it up, looking back to them in confusion. Then a serpent guard steps through the wormhole right on top of her, taking a hold of her round the neck and taking her gun. The other airmen aim their guns. "Hold your fire!" he snapped as more serpent guards come through the Stargate.
"Identi…Hold it…Identify yourself!" he snapped as they saw someone else come through and the last figure that did was dressed in armor simliar to their attackers, but this one was in armor that was was made of gold, he stands in front of his seven guards and reveals his face—a human face. "Jaffa, kree!" he shouted out as the man that had a hold of her reveals his own face then as he looked at her
The guard holding the female airman reveals his face, and Apophis turns to him. "Teal'c, kree!" he snapped at him then. 'Teal'C, that's it, he's had it, we're his breaking point.' the airmen thought to that remark then as he watched as Teal'c studies the female airman's gun, then drops it and passes the woman roughly to Apophis. "Get your hands off me!" she said to him at that Apophis brings his hand up and a device emits a glow to her facr.
That latches on to her face, she becomes calm. "Let her go!" The guard shouted out at him then as one of the serpent guards fires with his staff weapon, and a fire fight ensues. Teal'c covers the female airman with his body as the bullets bounce off the Goa'uld armour. Apophis sees one of his guards go down. One of the airmen is hit, and he crashes into the card table. "Kree! Jaffa!" Apophis shouted out then
Heading for the phone, the second guard shouted into it then. "We're under fire down here. We need…" he shouted before he gets hit by a staff blast as the first Airmen 1 continues firing until he too is finally struck. The base alarms have started sounding. "Teal'c. A'la spree." Apophis said to him, as he looks at the gate then as Security forces come running into the room then. "Go, go!" One of the S.F's shouted as they came in then
At the same time, the alarm is triggered as the front door closes and locks at the mountain entrance and a man surrounded by an entourage arrives as the man, a general with two silver stars arrives. "Hold your fire!" he shouted out as he locks gazes with the system lord as he looked at him and Apophis's eyes glow, his helmet goes up, and they retreat through the Stargate and it dissipates as he looked at the silver dressed guard and nodded.
'End this commander, I want freedom, please, I want freedom, give me a chance, I can change.' he saw in the eyes of the guard that locked gazes with him and hid a nod. 'Whoever you are, we're willing to give you an asylum, if you help us destroy whoever just attacked my base.' he said in response with his eyes, before something changed. "Teal'C, wait." he said and the man quickly turned to him at that response at that remark then.
"Who are you if you know who I am?" he asked and he smiled. "I'm your commander here at the SGC, but you and your friends, my command never regained your memories back, but I'm recalling your boss, your team leader and your friends. But I am Major General George Hammond, the rest of your team is a Colonel Jack O'neill, Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Jackson and Captain Samantha Carter." he said and he nodded to him gently at that news.
"Where are you going to be, because what's coming is the big one now we need to know where you're going after you got a hold a Carol?" he asked and he said it. "Chulak, we are going to Chulak now." he said and Hammond nodded sternly. "Alright stand by, but Daniel was supposed to marry Sarah Gardener, but what happened here was a mistake, he loves my god daughter, that's your team mate." he said and Teal"C nodded to him as he went further.
"He belongs to the girls, that's Sam and Sarah, this wasn't supposed to happen twice, so do what needs to be done here, he and his friends, you, are now my subordinates starting now." he said and the Jaffa nodded as he left as he sighed. "Jerry the SGA has now been activated, I'm having Major John O'neill arrested, the base was just attacked." he said and heard a stern tone. "Got it George, bring him in, now." he said and Hammond nodded.
"Whoa what the hell was that Sir?" Major Bert Samuels asked him and he shook his head. "I don't know about Teal'C, but I know someone who can, but based on O'neill's report, and he sent Jackson's dog-tags back, the quartet need to be recalled, Major go to Colonel O'neill's cabin and get Major O'neill, his brother is still active." he said and Samuels nodded to the orders as he said it then as two men came running in then quickly at that.
"Right, Jack is now serving under you." Bert said smiling at that. "Yeah and you guys get along fine right now, but we need both teams, and until we get Daniel's team up and running you're on a hold, Bert." he said and Bert said to him. "So long as I get my best friend back, that's fine, but we need to prove to these bastard there will be consequences right now for trying to stir up trouble." he said and a man his rank said it to Hammond .
"General you get a good look at his helmet, Ra looked like a pharaoh when we encountered him, like a normal pharaoh whatever this one is a clue breaker. Though his helmet was made from solid gold now?" Major Charles Kawalsky asked and he nodded sternly. "The helmet was in the shape of snake, he looks like a two legged cobra, in gold armor." he said and Charlie nodded to the news sternly as he crossed his arms at that news then sternly.
"Then we know who he is, but the bastard tried to usurp Ra's domain and decided to attack, oh someone is going to get it for this, excitement Johnny. How death and destruction, all Daniel wanted was a chance to study to his heart's content and you destroy that." the trio said together in disgust. "Charlie look man, look familiar?" his best friend asked, pointing at a staff and he nodded, as Hammond came to a decision gently at that.
"Issues, we get our brother back, but one hell of an effect on us, and he changed us for the better." Charlie said to him and he nodded to that in agreement. "Yeah that's an understatement, he's my best friend, and I'm not losing him because these bastards want more to do right now." Samuels said to this and Hammond nodded sternly in agreement. "Sorry son, time to come home now you've been reactivated." he said as he said it to the trio.
"Guys we all know this, but I know and knew all along that he was alive, and we were going back to Abydos repeatedly to keep checking on him. And since the mission ended at the time, and the NID didn't know this, but Major O'neill is about to get the general on the warpath act for lying in to me right now. You boys never lied to me ever, so you and Daniel, Jack are off the hook, I just have to confirm who this one is, and then we send for your team leader."
"So with that, stand by right now, Sergeant dial it up, Abdyos." Hammond said to that remark and the man nodded, as he quickly dialed out to the gate, and Charlie threw a radio through the wormhole and charged back into the control room then. "Daniel, it's us, we're checking in you guys, everything alright over there?" Charlie said into the radio, before Hammond said it into the radio gently at that as he called out to him at that remark then.
"Daniel you read me, repeat, Dr. Jackson, do you read me, my name is Major General George Hammond, I'm an old friend from when you were a kid, son. In fact I was the one that nearly adopted you when you were in Buffalo, you remember me, Captain George Hammond, though you started calling me dad now." he said and that did it then, as they heard his voice then gently at that in relief as he immediately answered to his voice.
"Yeah I read you loud and clear General, what's going on if you're contacting me right now?" he asked and Hammond explained that to him. "Son we had an attack, by a character dressed in gold armor, and the helmet was shaped like a snake." he said and they heard a firm tone. "Then it's not Ra at all, but his brother, his rival, a character by the name of Apophis." he said and Hammond nodded to him as the duo exchanged looks.
"Well Ra was in the body of a kid no older then Wes Crusher, but this character is no older then Jack." Daniel said to him and he nodded in shock. "Oh lovely right now, we kill one and now we got our possible primary's rivals coming after us." Charlie said to that and Hammond nodded. "And Ra was our primary, we need to make contact with the rest of the quintet we made the deal with and fast now, but with it, Danny listen to me."
"Listen to me carefully, what you're dealing in here is not what you think right now, but I'm not who you think at all son, but before we hit this one. But your parents and you, I, asked a group of very powerful aliens, one of them was and is the mentor that trained you here right now, they're called the Ancients. To reset the clock, the other group with them are a very powerful version to who we meet next in this right now."
"But listen to me carefully the leader of the group said in a paraphrase to what Q told Jean Luc on the show, but he and his people are the Tollan. They're one and the same, Q himself is the Tollan refugee leader, Omac." he said and the quintet looked at him in shock. "One and the same, the Tollan and the Q Continuum are one and the same?!" they heard in shock and he nodded as he answered him gently at the remark then.
"Yes, but this was how we gained some of what we got, but we're the good ones in their eyes, to them NID are primitives, or in Q words, a grievously savage childlike race." he said and they nodded. "Well that makes perfect sense, I was showing him that nothing is all that quick and he loses his temper, now. But to the guys and me, we did what needed to be done, trained us well, Sir." Daniel said to them and he nodded as he answered him
"We asked them to reset the clock and keep it permanent so a better life, you never got your memories back yet, but you considered me your father. But I am the captain, the one that nearly adopted you, after your parents were killed in the accident, but in addition to being your mentor in this job, now. But that's the military one, you and I were like father and son." he said and knew he nodded as he answered him gently at the news.
"Do you recall the woman that trained you, Morgan Le Fey?" he asked and he heard a fast response."Yes Sir I remember, she's one of the gate builders?" he asked and Hammond nodded. "Yes, by what she told us, she's going to be like Liam's character, or his female counterpart in the upcoming prequel trilogy now. But looks like you're what Ben was like as young adult, hold under very high esteem by us and the joint chiefs."
"The way he was with the Jedi council, before Anakin turned to the darkside, but they're evidently where George got his idea for the Jedi, same powers." he said and knew he nodded to the news. "Eleven years never changed anything, you're still the same young man I remember when we met, but my star pupil. As it is, it was after breaking the rules as an ascended, they erased your memories." he said and that did it as he answered him then.
"So would this account for why I feel like I got a few blank spaces in my memories?" he asked and he nodded. "Yes it does, prior to the reset, you got cast out of the Ancients, and had your memories erased, the added side effect that came with it, as they came back. Was it started unlocking your powers, you're of ancient descent, it runs in your family, paternal side." he said and he quickly answered at that remark and news then.
"So if we already know each other, then you know me better then I know myself, let me guess I was a major before you promoted me to my current rank in this time-line?" he asked and he nodded. "Yeah that's just what happened, before we reset the clock, but your team is Jack himself, Sam Carter and our new arrival from Apophis's army, he went traitor on him and has been working here for 6.5 years in my time-line."
"But as result I need to tell you this in person, so he attacks your base camp and kidnaps anyone, I'm recalling you son." he said and knew he nodded. "Tell Jack I'll see him in the morning, Charlie, Lou, you there with him?" he asked and they quickly nodded as Charlie said it to him. "Yeah we are man, but we're coming to get you, 1400 hours tomorrow, but John is a dead man." he said and knew he nodded as he answered him then
"If he says this, said this' You want a piece of advice: get re-assigned to NASA, that's where all the action's going to be, out there.'. But to us, we don't see this as action, but death and destruction, to the guys and me for 30 years everything was quiet here. Quiet and peaceful at the time, and they're beyond bored they got to stir up trouble at the moment, but to us right now, this isn't action at all, so with that."
"And to you, Sir, what's that supposed to tell you, we liked the way things were and are, but to him it's he calls what happened. When on this mission and out there action and excitement, so what's that supposed to tell you guys, you especially dad, you're the leader. And of my branch, before they come back into it, at the moment here now in this case?" he asked and Hammond crossed his arms as he said it.
"It says he's beyond bored of the way things are and wants some action, more wars, more explosions, and if there is, he's got something to do. But everything was quiet for years, we had no wars, no explosions, just training and total silence since we made the deal and crossing into other countries. Said is bad enough, to start something, and frankly I'm getting sick of that, but to answer your question here on his state of mind right now, son."
"He wants you to be wrong, just so you would be wrong, and if you were wrong he had something to do right now." he said and knew he nodded. "Yeah and this is precisely what got Chase killed he never exercised some common control over that phaser, left it in the on position. Never yanked the power pack and Chase killed himself by playing around with his personal gun." he said and Hammond nodded sternly to the news.
"Going on basis, it's always Jack this and Jack that, before he adds me to that complaint now at the moment, with you, Eric and Carter. But Jack and I, we're your top operatives in this job, but we loved how it is, we don't want action, but a chance to study. And to our heart's content, Jack loves the job, he's like Sam, me and our squadron, he loves the challenge, he loves the science to this."
"He prefers it this way and he doesn't have to tell me that our brother/brother bond snapped back into place so hard after I told him this. He was going to bat with you, so you could know I'm staying here, so I could get what we needed in case you reactivated me." he said and they nodded. "Well that consideration just hit the table Danny, we need you here now." Hammond said to him and they heard a gentle tone.
"I understand Sir, time to come home now, but I never stopped training, if you got a MALP ready to go, you can see what I created when behind enemy lines, so to speak." he said and they nodded as they signaled the science team and they nodded as they got the MALP up and sent it through and he shifted out of the way as they saw what it was that he been doing so far and Landry started laughing at that as he said it to Hammond.
"Yeah I call that time well spent when retired, supposedly till we reactivated him, he never stops his training though retired, he never stops." he said and Hammond nodded with a chuckle. "Even my daughter never quit between missions, but this is what I call ready for action, he's spent the last 18 months. Since he retired keeping himself strong mentally and physically for reactivation right now. " Jacob said to this through his and they nodded to that.
As the young man got in front of the camera then as he said it to them. "At the moment, I used what you taught me, and put the kids through basic training, and getting through the language barrier, and with them the rest of the village. So you could talk to them face to face when the time came, without the language barrier getting in the way." he said and they nodded to the news gently at that remark as he said it to him.
"So they created a militia?' Hammond asked and he nodded. "Yeah, using what you taught me, I trained them in everything from weapons, combat and how to synthesize power of what they had lying around, but the plant that my mount was eating was the source for the fuel needed." he said and they nodded. "Issues in training, though a soldier, you're still a scientist." Hammond said and he nodded gently to that.
"Well what I will say, and Bert if you're listening to this bro, you preferred it to the way things were, we got everything that we created. And based on research, salvage operations and humanitarian aid, life was simple and safe, because we knew never to cross the line here. But tell him this directly if he wanted action, from this job at the moment now, but if Jack tells you this now on the Abydos mission."
"I'm sending along my report, but John realized we find it or Ra finds it, and he's getting arrested for trying to stir up the hornet's nest here. But action, more like death and destruction here, and this little shit is the reason we got this guys coming after us right now, in truth. And he's being arrested anyway, we're scientists, we wanted a chance to study and learn to our heart's content, that's us and Sam."
"And if she's also there, and they destroyed that, again, but the little shit is out of his god damn mind right now, but in truth now. And here's where you're going to kill him right now, and I wasn't lying when I said this, but I said with new planets, new people and new problems. And said is that the DHD's are not close near the gates, and a need for doing some digging comes into it here right now in this case."
"I don't care why he did it, it doesn't matter, but we're segregating the sides before we kill each other, you need my report, here you go." he said and a minute later a notebook popped out of the gate and Bert took it and read through it and nodded sternly at that. "I thought we couldn't get it to go both ways through a wormhole?" Charlie asked in amazement and Daniel smiled as he answered him gently at that remark then
"At first we couldn't, but I inputted a device into my DHD to go both ways and when you send the MALP here, I can activate it, to go both ways now to pass information back and forth." he said and they nodded smiling at that news. "And after what we consider in this job, as crazy to down right absurd, this is considered as these idiots in NID are the wrong stuff and to Jack, me, Charlie and Lou now as a result."
"Johnny and his team, the NID, are the biggest mistake ever in the history of the stargate program." he said and the quartet of command generals nodded sternly. "Remember the new space movie that Bruce creating this year?" he asked and they all nodded. "Well NASA, well not NASA, but the department of defense here now, in addition to some of the hotshots in the NASA piloting program at the time here now."
"Said were considered adding a group of civilian oil drillers as the biggest mistake in the history of NASA space program now well in truth. Well that's how we see adding NID to program is." he said and the cast playing said military hotshots then exchanged looks. "Gentlemen, here in the SGC program, we have civilians working the areas we don't have time to do when on mission." he said and the group playing them nodded.
"Yeah now I crossed in line in remarks, it never occurred to me, to look into their program to know this information, SGC employs civilians all the time. And Daniel's parents are said civilians and the best of the best in archaeology." William Fichtner said to Bruce Willis and he nodded. "Well give us time and we can show we're as good as you guys are, but the way you sound, you sound like these hotshots in NID." he said to him and he nodded gently.
"Before they saw how well they could work together, before one of Bruce's men had a nervous breakdown after he saw one of the pieces that Fichtner's men never trained them in and starting firing it off till Bruce arrested this idiot for that?" he said and they crossed their arms. "The mental and physical rigors of working in space were meant to prevent just that and the space dementia is so bad here."
"John had a nervous breakdown halfway through the mission, after he met Sha're's family and their people, before really losing it. In the middle of meeting Ra General, to put this bluntly is that West is like the General that wanted to do things his own way, you, Landry, Picard and Carter. You had the experience, and as a result the guys and I always took your opinion, but this is the SGC version to that movie."
"In Fichtner's words now in this, as we're training in the field for years, my unit was your top academy squadron, best of the best here. And we're considered the NASA space program, but you're like Thorton's character, Jack, Charlie and I, we're Bruce, Patton. And Fichtner's characters for the upcoming planetary disaster movie coming out next year, but that's this altogether."
"Based on personal experience, you drilled this into us from the time we were 20, but like Bruce said here now, to you..." Daniel said and the quartet nodded gently at that. "And one of us played in the cast with the starring role of Jack O'neill's double, who also played my best friend. I was beyond irritated at the way you were treating a couple friends of mine that I never said anything." Marshall Teague said to Fichtner at that and he nodded.
"Oh crap, that's the part I forgot, Jack's double was your best friend so what's Will's connection to him if he's been working here all this time?" he asked and he explained that. "Jack's character, that's Rick Anderson, he's been my best friend for thirty years, I knew him longest here at the time before I met Bruce's character, but the three of us were a trio, and that's how I knew Marshall's." he said and the NASA cast covered their eyes at that news.
"Well that explains the look you shot me at the time, you were connected to Jack at the time, and his double is your best friend, as you do both the big screen and small." Billy Bob Thornton said sternly. "I take it you were comparing my movie to how the Stargate program will really be when these fools never went through the gate. And one of them just started in the last 18 months, Colonel?" Bruce asked him and he nodded as the said actors crossed their arms.
"Yeah I did Bruce, but Will, you're a mixture of me and Jack together, you guys and your doubles see this the very same way right now, guys. So that is the way my command does this and we train for years to handle the mental and physical rigors of working here now. When on humanoid planets, the man playing your asshole General doesn't realize his opinions don't count for crap here now in this case."
"He's got a real hard headed single minded determination to do things his own, way, but our team, we're like you at the moment here, guys, Liv. We spend billions on these programs, if I get the knowledge to create a meteor eliminating system now and we use that too. But they never look at science to realize that bombs are not the end all and be all for space exploration and demolition here."
"Saying this from personal experience and we swore never to use the elements for weapons anymore, as the idiots exposed us here. But to trade that insult and that could be said in reverse, when you're like us, you're the best at what you do, and you're the ones we're helping. In preparing for this, it's we spend close to 200 hours on you guys to prepare you for this right now as a result now in this."
"But you, 'General', just how stupid do you think we are here, that you chose to over ride the damn thing?" he asked and the man paled at that at the question then as he said it then. "But what if the president told Billy to test you and when he gives you that phone, this was test, as you have Billy, Liv. And the entirety of their command, all civilians, beyond pissed, that they go to disengaging that timer, hmm?"
"So just say that this was to catch you in the act now, you never told him the truth, and you, like Sutherland get arrested here now. And for with-holding intel, from the president and the joint chiefs of staff as instead of firing Billy, you get arrested for a court martial?" he asked and the man paled as he never considered that thought as he looked at the star medals in his hand as he realized he committed a felony.
"But want to trade insults 'General', well turn about is fair play, as you never leave earth at the moment here now, you don't know here. In what it's like out there, I worked in the private sector, and you expect results, but hey, this is not all fun and games 'General', it's dangerous. You make a mistake and it can and will kill you, she had a very high right to tell Michael off for not paying attention."
"But Jessi is a true astronaut training a rookie in how to manage up there, if I was a civilian here in this alleged time line now. You treat me like I'm not worth trusting when your own men did the crime and every member of the joint chiefs, and the general, my own commander. They see it in reverse, everything that you call me, and treat me, to them is turn about is all fair play, you're a criminal."

"To paraphrase your remark in another way, in the eyes of Thornton, 'And when the Goa'uld finish wiping us out. Because we have nothing to defend ourselves, I'm sure we'll feel great about ourselves and our ethical standards', that's the thinking of your version of the military."
"So you realize who and what you sound like in the eyes of the real space program?" he asked and the man swallowed hard at that. "As we spend billions on the NASA and space programs, to train, to defend earth against alien incursion, but to us where the men. The men you represent are concerned, and we all think this, at the moment, though Bruce and Billy never said it aloud where you're concerned."
"And with them, Jason and Jim now, Bruce's team, but we spend billions on the space programs and here we are now at the moment. And as a result, but the fate of the planet, said in reverse is in the hands of a bunch of hotshots, retards now, said that I wouldn't trust. And with a potato gun or worse, our phasers." he said and the man playing said general paled at having his words thrown back at him over Bruce's team.
"Secondary protocol is illegal in the eyes of the real military buster." he said and the man paled at that remark. "Jack and me, we would give them all the time they needed, we do orbital issues. bit Will, Jessica, Grayson, and I know you're with them Marshall. But you know what Rick is like once one of his men goes AWOL." he said and the pilot of Ben's ship crossed his arms at that memory as he looked at Bruce then.
"The Renegade?" he asked and the younger man nodded. "Yeah and that's not unknown to happen Marshall, Jack would never leave me hanging and do whatever it takes to get me back, we're brothers." he said and they nodded. "And this is why he was so pissed at the man playing my superior, he blew me off and he had to talk me into getting that surgery done." Teague said to this and he nodded to that remark then gently at that.
"But yeah I do, and he's always been like this, so what are you suggesting Colonel, you land yourselves in the middle of this, and put yourselves in the middle of the movie after the re-fueling station blows?" he asked and Daniel nodded to him. "Yeah that's what I'm saying Jack rescues your side of the crew, I'm busy with Bruce's and threw in my own radio, I can tell Addison to shoot the secondary protocol, and all those S.F's now."
"They belong to us right now actually your S.F.'s belong to us, I had my radio, that has a much stronger beacon, right to Russian. China and France satellites, lose the uplink one way, and they got a back up through me and your second in command. Said is my youngest in ranks on my team and he's in charge." Daniel said and Thornton smiled in relief as his two other companions exchanged smiles in delighted relief.
"Who exactly?" Issacs asked and he smiled. "Jason Adams, Captain Jason Peter Adams, he's the blonde headed man standing next to you right now." he said and they turned to the man who was the double of their version who had a smile on his face and the other man paled at that. "Truth be told Marshall, your double was my boss, before we went through three changes of command, I'm the latest." he said and the man nodded.
"I was playing the head of your team, you mean to tell me my character on your new show is your boss, that's who I am to you, your boss and best friend. So Jack and I were the ones training you to take over control of my team, that had you Bert, Andy Dixon and Jason Adams?" he said and he nodded to him. "Yeah next season's episode, A Matter Of Time, as in it's only a matter of time, that the past comes back to haunt you."
"But you had a duty to the truth, made a judgement call, listen to me carefully at times where being behind enemy lines is concerned. Though you want to go back, you know if you do, you could get captured along with the rest of the team, you had to make a judgement call for us. You already told me all off this, and we got Jack out, but you left John there for another 3 months." he said and the older man nodded.
"So if I have to have a fight with Rick's alter ego, it's if he points out whoever's clones got jolted this time, that's a totally different scenario and my counter. Said is that is the same damn thing here, you, whoever in SG team clones got stuck in range of a whatever it is, and he sees this as he has no choice. Well then maybe now he knows how it feels to make a decision you can't always stomach, case in point is this." he said and Daniel nodded to that.
"So with that, why don't we just do this and get the hell out of here, alright." he said and he nodded as he said it, his tone firming. "Someone dropped a dime on the incursion, you got hit, you went down, and I made a judgement call to save the rest of the team." he said and Daniel nodded. "And I saw you take off, and then I saw four months of my life disappear in some stinkin' Iraqi prison." he said to him and he said it sternly at that.
"I thought you were dead." he said sharply and he said it finally. "You thought wrong, just what do you want, you want me to forgive you, is that it?" he asked and the man nodded as he got into his acting skills for this. "Yeah I guess I do." he said and he said it firmly. "Well that's tough, what happened to no one gets left behind?" he asked and he pointed at the the other monitor at that remark then.
"Oh what about him?" he asked and he tried to back track. "That's a totally different scenario." he said and he said it in finality to him. "That's the very same thing, John." he said sternly and Daniel smiled firmly. "Perfect, get ready you're going to have to really lay into him, you're my boss and best friend and you're as pissed at him for doing it twice in a year since the Orbital attack, buddy." he said and the older man nodded gently.
"The best of friends, Marshall, Jack let it go, but John has hung onto this for years and in trying to get the poisons of opium out of his system. And tries it, hits an artery and loses a gallon, but that did it, as your second in command of that team made the decision for you, and then said if he never lets it go, he's screwed up for life, but you trained me well buddy." he said and the older man nodded sternly at the news.
"But you drilled that into me for years, yes we never leave someone behind, but at times we don't have a choice in the matter. But you're a best friend and big brother to me, like Jack is." he said and the older man nodded with a gentle smile at that. "Colonel Frank Cromwell, leader of SGA-1, Andy Dixon is next in command, of my unit, and I'm third, but leadership was passed down from member to member."
"I'm the latest now, but you preferred the way things are now, it's not as dangerous, and you guys were always trying to protect me. As a result, so issues of protecting the kid brother, though I could take care of myself, Jack is like Darry, and you're his wiseacre gang member. The one Emliio was playing in The Outsiders at the time." he said and the man nodded as he shook his head smiling as the younger man went on.
"But Jason, Bert and I are the new version to our team, we're called SGA-1." he said and they nodded smiling. "We get the concern here where Bruce is concerned, because it takes time and patience, patience and you got to be careful, you make a mistake with this particular rock. It could cause a gas explosion and blow Ken right off the asteroid, before Ben and Michael arrive." he said and they nodded gently.
"Thank you, that's just my concern, we don't drill carefully and it could blow Ken right off the the damn asteroid, you barely gave us enough time. Here to drill the hole and you're now pulling the plug I don't think so, and this is illegal right now, in the eyes of the real military. You're out of your god damn minds, it takes time, and patience, you don't do it correctly it can kill someone." Bruce said and Thornton crossed his arms at that at that statement.
"I knew I had it right, you guys never would have allowed this, so who the hell is he really working for?" he asked and Daniel said it over the radio as he looked through the camera right at someone behind them and he turned to see a man dressed in air force uniform with an icy look on his face. "Kimsey is part of the NID." Daniel said and the man paled at that remark as he never realized who he was being sponsored by at that.
"Kimsey, like Maybourne, Colonel Jerome Kennedy, Colonel Makepeace, Jack's twin John, and a few dozen others are all NID. They're all like the Empire, we're the Rebellion working at keeping our entire galaxy safe and trying to free it from a group as dangerous, now. As the Imperial Navy, or worse, the Terran Empire, in Star Trek, but we're the Old Republic and the Federation, we're like our mentors, the trio."
"NID is the military CIA, but they're specialized in chronic paranoia, Billy, fact of the matter is they're sick of the alliance with the quintet. They were creating a bio-weapon in case the quintet went back on their word and killed a few hundred people, Ceder Creek for one. And this is right up there now in acting like this damn asteroid got launched at us by a renegade." he said and they nodded in shocked fury.
"So out of paranoia, they try to kill me and my friends, out of fear?" Bruce said slowly and he nodded sternly. "Yeah but these guys are all certifiable, so trust me, never mind what he says, but after he tells you this Billy, Jason, Jim, contact Addison. And he's having this bastard arrested for attempted mutiny and murder, we do this, we do it right, but like you we don't take chance and double up on everything."
"But you're insulting us by this behavior, but let me tell you, you're Ronny Cox, you read the reports that come out of this base and to you. It's we play with the fate of the planet on a daily basis, but let me tell you, we were doing the job we were asked to do here. But I very well doubt that the planetary constituents could say the same about you, you're insulting not just them, but us, as we're true officers."
"But you consider who here you're insulting, you're playing a general, and you're surrounded by real ones right now?" he asked and he swallowed hard at that remark then. "You, your command, are playing Air Force officers, but you're surrounded by real ones, on my base. So say after discussing this with the leader of the group of S.F.'s that just arrived, as your entire command is playing with the timer."
"And I know Jason is trying to get enough on you to have you arrested, Jason is working for me, but like Bert, is my best friend. We're a trio, but we're the best of friends on my team, so want to screw with my unit you're facing a losing battle." he said and the man paled as he saw the smile of friendship and brotherhood on the young man's face at that remark and knew he would only listen to Daniel or Jack on that.
"Giving Bruce and his team time to lock back onto the satellite here and straight to my jumper, that then bounces off Russian and China satellites. Those men, the man playing a NASA colonel in charge of flying the shuttle that is carrying Bruce and his side of the team. They all realize what's coming, and trying to talk some sense into the trio here, now, before that trigger is pulled, as instead of arresting Billy."
"It's you they arrest, as we arrange to get you out of the way, and Billy takes back command, till Ben gets to Bruce, and with him. Michael and the missing cosmonaut that hitched a ride after their space station was destroyed now?" he asked and the man swallowed hard at that. "Did you forget something here, that you're playing a whatever star, and the next or even 4 ranks up has command of the entire branch."
"He calls a halt, arrests you, and we start playing with the timer, disengaging it as they talk some sense into Will, Jessica and Grayson. In Billy's words, this is one order you shouldn't be following and you damn well know it buster, as you know your reputation. Said is hanging in the balance and the men that out rank you, are the ones eviscerating you for nearly killing the entire team, what's left of it."
"But you're no general, you don't even come close all you are is failing upwards colonel in the department as this moment. That brings a whole new meaning to word certifiably insane here and needing an extended stay in the hospital psychiatric department or better. You're spending 10 years in Leavenworth, for this psychotic break and we all know it, but the boys are all stretched to breaking."
"But four dead, and 7 alive, plus a cosmonaut added to the team, before we lose another one, and then another, and it's just the sextet left. But you're through as we get satellite reception back, and he and the team are making contact finally, but let me tell you. At times there's a blown radio signal, others there is loss of satellite reception and others' there is busted timer, that won't turn off."
"Or you can't turn on take it from a skilled officer, that this happens all the time here, in a the real world now, but as a result here. In our new lives, this decision was illegal, as was the secondary protocol, and Bill knew and knows this so how long, before we bust you here. Tell Billy and you're screwed here, as you're surrounded by real officers, real space exploration and most of all real astronauts here."
"True astronauts as a result, training people who need that training to stay alive up there and then you try to kill our counterparts. Because you landed in the wrong zone, don't blame them or you're going to get killed by the leader of the team and his daughter here. Along with a man as strong as my other best friend." he said and the man paled at that as he realized he insulted the SGC command in the process then.
"Your version has the body of football player, but he hears you tried this, and he's going to kill you for pissing off who, to him, is his baby girl." he said and the man paled at that remark as he looked at his version of that character who crossed his arms. "And I will to, she's scared out of her mind already, but then you never tell her father, Will and the quintet you're about to fire, you pissed me off." he said sternly and he swallowed hard.
As said man chuckled. "Like I said, come get papa bear, and that's how Liv sees me here." the said man said with a laugh as she leaned her head against his shoulder in response. "Nice choice in nicknames, but when you go papa bear, and you're asking to get mauled where I'm concerned." she said and he nodded to her. "Yeah well I meant it, you maybe a young adult, but still my little girl in our characters." he said to her smiling gently then at that.
"Cross that line, you won't have to worry about Bruce killing you as his character, because Jack, my Jaffa best friend and I will 'General'. You disagree with us: fine, want to take it to the president: fine, through Hammond and Bill, but you pull an end run around me again here. And I'll snap you back so hard, that you'll think you're a first year cadet again, is that clear." Daniel said sternly and the man paled at that.
As he saw the clear hard edge of a pro and soldier in the eyes of a man, who could kill him 50 times before he collapsed then. "I'm not someone you want on your bad side, as normal I could put you in the hospital, but with my powers you'd be dead before you ever made it to the morgue. But trust me, the men you represent in this movie are facing my wrath when I come home now." he said and he swallowed hard at that.
"You see the guys and me as we're a bunch of failures, but you notice what my kind has created in 30 years, look around the gate room." he said and the man took a look at what was laying around the walls of the room and swallowed hard. "That equipment comes from years of technology scavenging, diplomacy and at times getting into obstacles, as the gain is part of the challenge, but not through violence."
"And of threat and force, as the races all have ways that don't call for violence and going to bloodshed, we adopted their ways now here. So though we're peaceful, we still act like we mean business, but you treating us like we're losers, the way you treat our civilian counterparts. Bruce's team now, Billy, and his team, you're slowly going have everyone hate you, and then comes this now in this case."
"Your character was created to have everyone see someone of your stature as not worth listening to, so the ones getting all the likes. The trust and the respect is Billy's team and Bruce's team, and even your own men hate you right now, so carry on with that attitude. That's a trap, and like we did in Maybourne and West's case, you just demonstrated a failure to listen and do it our way, and you blow it too."
"Hey guys, if you need to stock your shuttles with food, do supply here, and the medical supplies, we can help you out, before you head for the launch post later." Daniel said and the cast nodded to the idea with a smile gently. "Thanks Colonel, we appreciate the help, but if this movie was the same week as the cliffhanger, with you on the other side of the planet, we got back up for it." Fichtner said to him gently at that suggestion then.
"But Sam and I created a diagram to what Billy decided on and this is considered the same as destroying a asteroid made of the Naquada, the gate element, that they all know this, but try to destroy on the surface, and you're going to detonate that crap anyway. And kill not only yourselves, but the planet with you." he said and the man paled at that as he realized his character's decisions were going to destroy earth.
"Was that the report he, that's Jack brought back with him, in Daniel's handwriting?" Bruce asked him and he nodded to him. "Yeah it is, Daniel sent it back with us along with his dog tags at the time, but we never knew when we would have to reactivate him and hung onto them. Fortunately no one we lost so far is the real one, but a clone in all their cases." Charlie said to that and they all nodded gently in relief as Daniel said it to the actor.
"So look at the actors playing your own men, for the 4th act, before Ben rejoins Bruce." he said and the man turned and saw his portion of the cast with their arms crossed as Lou passed them what was written in Daniel's handwriting to them and they read through it and nodded. "Yeah I see it alright, that's never going to work here, but a fight over the radio and computer control gives us time to get it working again till we got it turned off."
"But trying to detonate that nuke on the surface, that blows any chance we got here, but detonate it on the surface, we waste a perfectly good bomb. And we got only one chance to save this planet." Thornton said and the man playing the lieutenant colonel nodded in agreement to that. "That's never going to work, if we did this two months prior we had a better chance here, to train without cutting corners." the man playing Daniel's rank said to him.
"Yeah even they know blowing it on the surface is doomed to failure, we can do this if we work together, but your trying to take control, you kill us all." Bruce said sternly as he took the paper and his team read it to the yield calculations with Fichtner's team reading it over his shoulder and nodded. "So start playing with the timer till we cut the damn cord, guys." he said and the man playing his subordinate nodded to the orders and Daniel nodded gently.
