Pasithea, personification/ goddess of relaxation breathed out gently rolling her head and neck, wincing slightly as she listened to the crack and pop of bones in the necks of the people she was instructing. The Yoga studio was filled with content soft sighs and relaxed groans as people lost the tension in their neck and shoulders. That, at least made her smile. "Ok everyone, we are going to transition from Mountain pose into Downward Facing Dog. Remember to try and press your heels to the ground and keep your legs as straight as you can. It's fine if you can't get your feet flat. Relax into the movement and let your body enjoy it," Pasithea said in a soothing, low voice.

There were a few pained squeaks and a small token of protest as bodies shifted from standing up to nearly bent in half. Pasithea kept her eyes almost closed, but was fully aware of the people in her class that needed help. She walked around the room, helped a few of the adults fix their stance into something that was more comfortable to them and quietly kept time. Once the rep was done she moves them into the next motion, gently and with great care. These may not be elderly people or little children but they deserved no less care.

When the half hour class was over and before the next group was set to come in, Pasithea sat herself down in a Lotus pose and took a drink from her water bottle. She may be an immortal being with no real need for food or drink from the mortal realm, but even she could enjoy a relaxing drink of water after a very relaxing Yoga class. Besides, who would even bother to say anything to her? Everyone thought she was a Mortal woman called Charity Grace, a play on her Title. The Mortals that she helped called her one of the sweetest ladies they had ever met. One of the elderly women she taught liked to go on and on about how it was obvious that her Momma, whoever she had been, had raised her right well with good old fashioned manners and morals.

It took all of Pasithea's years of learning to control herself to not laugh and tell the old woman that her mother had sold her to her uncle for a favor regarding her stepfather. That wasn't to say that she didn't enjoy her marriage to Hypnos… it just mean that it made things very stressful for her when it happened. She had not liked it at first, but as time had gone on, she had learned to relax around the Sleep God.

Before Pasithea could get anymore lost in her own head there was the sound of her studio door crashing open. She clenched her hands around the water bottle so tightly that water erupted out of the top and splashed all over her. Years of being used to this prevented her from lashing out at her "cousin", Manea as she burst into the room shouting, "PATSY" that the top of her voice.

Taking a deep breath and reaching for her towel, Pasithea forced her body to relax as she fully opened her eyes for the first time all day and eyed her cousin with annoyed deep brown eyes. Her cousin's black hair was a wild in tangled curls as her vibrant green eyes were as she grinned down on Pasithea. "Manea, how can I help you today?" She asked in her low soothing voice.

Her fellow goddess grinned more widely, if that was at all possible, and proclaimed in her high manic voice, "Your mother is in town!" Pasithea could practically hear all of the extra exclamation points in her cousin's voice.

A flash of annoyance lanced through Pasithea as she registered what Manea said. What is the name of Tartarus was her mother intending by coming here? She shoved the negative emotion away and took a deep breath to center herself back into her calm and relaxed state. Just because she was happy with her marriage didn't mean she had fully forgiven her mother for it.

"What does she want?" Pasithea asked as she smoothly moved from sitting down to standing up.

Manea shrugged her shoulders as she buzzed around the room. "No idea, she just said she was going to pay you a visit and that she missed you."

What utter crap. Her mother was a scheming woman with a habit of victim blaming and no real love for her children. She was coming for a reason and Pasithea was just going to have to figure that out. She had to, it was the only way she would be able to make her mother leave her alone and continue on with her happy new life.

Pasithea took a deep breath and eyed her cousin. "Well Manea, you've done Hermes' job, now you need to leave. I have another class in a few minutes. Thank you for stopping by but bye now." She said as she bodily heaved, pulled and shoved the other goddess out of the room.

"Awww, you're no fun," she heard from the other side of the door. She rolled her eyes and went to fix up her studio.

"I'm the Goddess of Relaxation, not the Goddess of Fun," She muttered to herself as she straightened out the little things that Manea had made a mess of with all her bouncy and vibrating energy.
