"Do we have to do this?" A man asked the other in annoyance.

"Yea, I'd really rather not." The other said with a shrug.

"What are you talking about? This is going to be fun! I haven't seen you guys in ages! And it's my birthday and you really don't have a choice!" The only girl stated as she dragged the boys into the bar.

They had a good reason to be unenthusiastic. As they found out when they turned legal, She had a big problem. The day She turned twenty, she went to a bar and quickly discovered that she enjoyed drinking. She liked the feeling of being drunk, she loved drinking girly drinks that had way too much alcohol that she couldn't taste and she damn sure loved going to bars.

The two guys felt differently. She routinely got them into bar fights with people who were much bigger than them, and often much stronger. She was the youngest of them, and the youngest of the sibling trio. By the time she was on drink seven she was sufficiently drunk. An eight year streak of not paying for any drinks while with them, annoyed them to great lengths.

She got bored with her brothers, stood up and stumbled towards a random guy. On her way to the bar she bumped into a relatively large man, causing him to slop his drink all over his front. When he turned around and saw that the person who bumped into him was not an intimidating, guy, but a small girl, he shouted at her. "Watch yourself bitch!"

The random guy sighed to himself. He for one knew that this wasn't a normal bar.

"What did you call me?" The girl questioned, getting into his face. She seemed truly pissed and it was never a good sign.
The random guy watched from the bar as the man try to calm the girl. After a few seconds, she stepped forward and punched the man in the balls, knocking him down. After a few seconds of stunned silence, his friends joined the fight as did the brothers.

And that was only the first fight.

Since then, every time they went to the bar with her she ended up getting into a fight. Or worse, she ended up getting the rest of them into a fight. They were sick of it, but then they didn't really have a choice. It was her birthday.

"How is this fair? And how come we're the only ones who have to come with you?" The second brother asked.

"Are you saying it's a chore to celebrate my birthday with me?" She asked dangerously.

He quailed under her gaze. "Uhmm, no! Huh? You say something Sam? Let's go to that bar!" He said, walking with them.

Satisfied, she turned around and continued her march to the nearest bar. "And anyways Simon and Kyle should be meeting us at the bar. I think Yahot might even show up for a bit!"

"Oh great." Sam muttered to himself as this was only the start.

Later

Four drinks in and She was headed towards having a serious hangover in the morning. Sam and his brother nursed their drinks expecting the worst. They never knew when She would start up and it always helped to be somewhat sober. It could be at any time and they needed to be prepared.

Noticing their reluctance, She yelled at them. "What's up with you guys?! It's my birthday!"

"Well-"

"It's not like I'm going to get into any fights." She said, interrupting Sam.

"Ummm..."

"SHOTS!" She suddenly shouted to no one in particular, interrupting her other brother.

The two brothers looked at each other, obviously wary.

Easily distracted, She yelled out. "Oh Tracy's over there! I'm gonna go say hi! I'll be back!" She said as she walked away from the table leaving a very worried and confused brothers in her wake.

"So, this is new." The second brother said as he watched her.

"Yes. I'm surprised Sophia hasn't gotten into any altercations." Simon stated blankly.

"Oh come on, she's not that bad." Kyle said, a drink with a purple umbrella in it in hand.

"Yes she is." Sam stated bluntly.

"Do you remember when we got into that one fight because that girl told Sophia her hair was too shiny? I don't even know how that's an insult!" The second brother exclaimed.

"And do you remember when she got into a fight with Roy cause she said his singing didn't make any sense." Simon added.

"Or when she picked a fight with the MMA fighter because she said his eyebrows were too close together. How did she end up taking that personally? She was the one who insulted him!" Sam added, looking annoyed.

"Ah, well. She's still our Sophia. And look! I think she's found a friend." Kyle said, pointing at her.

As one, the other three looked over to see Sophia arguing with a dark haired man who looked like an oddly familiar. Sam groaned and put his head in his hands. "Seriously. How does she even get into these fights?"

"Well, unless they're using their bodies or trying to seduce some sleazy old daimyo, let's be honest, it just doesn't work!" Kyle said as he smirked at his friends who laughed with him.

"Oh no, not again." Sam groaned as he watched.

Sophia lowered her head, her hands clenched into fists and her entire body trembled. Within seconds Sophia punched the man. Within another a few seconds, his companions intervened to fight on the behalf of their friend. Sophia's friends were there in the blink of an eye.

Because as annoying as Sophia's bar fights could be, a friends were friends. They looked out for each other. That didn't mean they had to do it happily. "Dammit, Sophia. We leave you alone for five seconds!" Sam yelled, punching a man in the face as he tried striking her.

Suddenly, the men they were fighting turned into demons, and it scared them sober as Kyle and Simon were both killed on the spot, becoming food. Sophia screamed and ran, her brothers not far behind. Opening the door to the bar, she came face to face with a teen, this one holding a guitar case on his back. Stepping back, they looked between the two, with the teen looking up at the demons.

"So, this is the kind of bar I was sent to." The teen said, pulling out a gun from his red coat and took aim, shooting at the demons with what looked like a bottomless clip. They got down and covered their heads as he killed the demons. Once the shooting ended, Sophia looked up at the man, unable to see his face as the darkness wasn't allowing the light to enter the bar.

The teen was tall, wore a worn down red coat, had a black guitar case on his back, black shirt and black pants, with black shoes. That's all she could see of him, before he turned around and walked away. Once she was sure it was safe, she got her brothers and left, calling the police soon after.
