There's something twisted, enraged and forgotten still on the other island. Something more dangerous than the Indominus, the Indoraptor or Rexy... an abomination, a dark force of unrelenting power and rage, a mistake.

The other island was a wreckage. It's been a while since it was ever officially used. The last time the team ever tried to make it another dinosaur land, we've never heard back from them. Their ship never returned. But while they were there and hopefully alive, they sent a message. We haven't heard one since they told us they managed to pull into the dock. "S.O.S., we are lost. Lost." it stated in a near-robotic voice. It repeated it over, and over, and over again, until I couldn't take it. After notifying the boss, he ordered us to go to the island. I gulped hard once I heard this. Me and some of my crew were given a flashlight, a radio to report back, and a camera. We've heard rumours about this place. All the typical blah blah blah about how there was some dark energy. Stuff we've heard about the abandoned house down the road from my house about a million times.

"We were lucky to have made it back alive" was something many of them said in slightly different phrasing. But it was different. It weren't some clickbait Youtubers saying this, or some 13-year-old children who think they are going on an adventure, it was grown men. Like, tough guy who-owns-a-shotgun-who-won't-hesitate-to-kill-you kind of people. Once I heard of it, I was a bit afraid.

Everyone was.

————————————————————————————————————————

July 31st, 2006.

The boat ride there was not calm sailing. It was a dark mist, and somewhat rough water. We didn't see the island until we were within maybe half a mile's distance to it, and even then, it was just a faint silhouette. Keep in mind it was broad daylight at the main island. Like, beach weather. But it felt cold. Dark. Free of happiness. It wasn't giving off a good vibe. When we finally arrived at the dock, we found the ship we sent out months ago. It had plantation starting to grow and the metal beginning to rust. It was leaning to one side as if it had a hole in it. Once we got off on the dock, we took a look around. The fog was dark and there was no sun, but we could still see ahead of us. I made out a couple of buildings: the main centre and museum area. We would go there when- IF we found the crew in the ship. The ship looked like it hadn't been used in 3 years. The wood was rotting and my buddy almost fell through the bottom when the floor cracked. We got up to the bridge of the ship and nobody was in it. Just broken glass and a ghost of its former self.

The power didn't work, and it was too risky to try and go to the lower levels aside from the cage area. We took a couple steps down and found empty cages and an open boarding area. The ship was wet like it just rained on the inside. I have to admit that it was a bit frightening to see all of these empty cages. They were beginning to rot and some bars were broken. It was dark and creepy and we bailed out of the ship quickly. It looked as if they never even had a chance to move the cells onto the island. We decided to head toward the main building area. A low and dark ambience like a quiet freezer buzz continued on from no discernible place. Ahead of us, there was the building. The buildings here were never finished, at least on the inside, and were abandoned 10 years ago.

The project wasn't a success. Today, it sat still, vines on all of the buildings, dirt covering them, and broken windows everywhere. Some litter was here from the people who decided to go and explore it, and graffiti lied on all of the buildings. Then, the buzzing stopped. It was silent. Too silent. The sky rapidly started getting darker, to the point where we had to turn on our flashlights and look around for any sign of the crew. Then the rain started. It wasn't normal- somehow it felt rough even from a little drop and the rain was matte black. The moon was nowhere here to guide us that night. I started seeing things out of the corner of my eyes- shadows of dinosaurs that weren't there. From what I could tell, my crew was having the same thing happen to them. Then, out of the blue, the lights in the main building turned on, and impossibly so. They didn't have maintenance happen to this place in at least 5 years. The lightbulbs flickered and were almost too dim to be seen, but we all noticed it. We freaked out. We ran back to the dock, but an impossibly strong wind-like force blocked us from even going there. A distorted roar ran through the park, echoing and ringing in our ears afterward. At that point, we had no option but to go inside.

As we stepped in, we all had only one thought in our heads, and that was of our impending deaths. We all had seen an example of what this demon could do. We all had seen drone footage of this thing mutilating other park creatures. We even saw a dead mutilated corpse of the fucking Spinosaurus on our way here. We are just at a distance from it. We knew there were 4-5 Spinosaurs on the island and it killed one of the big ones. Its injuries were just too obvious when we saw it. It had to have died at the hands of this creature. As we are here in the building, we can also hear the creature's footsteps. All too fast. All to... demon like. As if it knew of the power it had and as if it enjoyed playing with its prey.

There was an instance where it ambushed and killed one of my men.

*Flashback*

It had been just an hour since we got to this island and we already our running for our lives. Fucking hell. We had the job to get pictures and get our asses outta here. It was a bad idea to come here at night. That thing has gotten the jump on us so many times that we have gotten crazy and paranoid. Every shadow we see we are thinking its that. As we approached a clearing, we decided to set camp here. As we were setting camp, I, Owen Grady (An ex-navy officer now hired by Ingen.) heard some rustling behind some bushes. He was setting up the tent with us. As he heard the rustling, he stood up and called out "Wait here" and he slowly approached the bushes. But another one of us called out to me, "Owen, Ingen would need your skills regarding the Raptor squadron. Don't go." So, I didn't.

But someone else volunteered to go. My best friend and brother in arms, Louis Klavier. As he approached the aforenoted area and raised his shotgun, a reptilian black and red arm emerged from above and pulled him in. We heard his screams and shotgun blasts. Distorted animal roars and human screams. Then it quietened and we heard the same fast quick feet we all came to know, quieten away as it ran off into the distance.

When we stepped into the area, there he was.

His head chopped off, right arm broken and bent in an odd manner, the entire left portion of his torso missing, blood leaking out from everywhere and legs cut off in an erratic manner that it is safe to say that they were bitten off.

Louis was dead.

I never felt more shell-shocked.

*Flashback end*

We kept running, we kept hiding. We had a plethora of near misses with this damned piece of shit. We all just had to capture pictures and get footage of the island. We also had brought a plethora of weapons to defend ourselves if we get attacked. But this…...thing is just too damn fast. We know of the Scorpius Rex. We have seen it and this thing that killed the Spinosaurus is clearly not it.

We have heard its roar and Wu made a BIG mistake deciding to dabble with pre-historic life and to play fucking god with these things.

It was around 6pm at this point. We came around 1 pm at noon. Once the dying rays of the sun fell onto this thing, we just realized this is going to be out nightmares for the rest of our lives. We thought we had lost the creature. As we were walking, we saw corpses. A human corpse and the Spinosaurus corpse that I was telling you about earlier.

We could not recognise the human as he was mutilated beyond belief. The person looked to be missing a great part of its upper body. We could see down to the bone. And it looked like as if the human were to be snapped in half like a twig. We all theorized that the Spino might have got it and as it landed the first blow the thing came and killed the Spino. Then it perhaps might have mutilated and eaten the human. As we were investigating it, we heard the quick and loud feet. We all knew it too damn well by now. Just one particular thought rang through our minds.

"That thing is here. This is his fucking territory; these are it's kills and we are fucked."

As said before, this oneshot was a totally random idea.
