MUDA PROLOGUE MUDA
"ROADO ROLLA DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
The road roller that DIO just found randomly and carried with him as he flew crashed into Jotaro, who was frozen in stopped time below him. After hearing a rather loud grunt, most likely driven from the pain of being crushed by a literal road roller, another sound erupted from just beneath the road roller falling in motion. Accompanied with the series of bangs signifying the sound of the road roller's metal being crushed and obliterated, the much familiar sound made its way to DIO's ears.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA-"
'Jotaro! Even now on your last breath you still cling to life!' DIO smirked menacingly. He had anticipated that he would have to do more than just roll a machine over a frozen Jotaro to finish him off.
'But that just goes to show...'
'...how futile a human existence really is!'
"It's too late! You cannot escape!" DIO shouted as he summoned the ultimate stand, The World, once again.
"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA-"
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA-"
"Eight seconds have passed!" The time for DIO's newly extended capacity for stopping time was about to end, so he clenched his fist himself, intending to punch as well for a finishing strike.
"WRYYYYYYYYYYY! I'll smash you flat!" DIO's fist connected with the wrecked machine. DIO hoped to crush the damn Joestar with the sheer pressure and gravity of the road roller.
"ORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Jotaro growled as he resisted getting killed. The futility of the ambition made DIO want to laugh.
With one last strike, DIO hammered the road roller. He heard the crack as bones broke. 'It's over,' DIO smirked.
"Nine seconds have passed." He breathed in victory.
"Fufufufufufu… Hehehehehe… Hahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Mortals! I shall rule you all! Bow before my knowledge and might!" DIO said in the world of stopped time, hell-bent on accomplishing his dream. "Ten seconds have passed! HA! Even I shock myself at times! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Now my ability to stop time has reached ten seconds!"Jumping from five seconds to nine seconds and then ten seconds of stopped time in a single day, each time DIO used The World's ability he found himself improving at such an amazing rate compared to other, more inferior Stand users.
There was only one reason for the sudden improvement of growth.
'Joestars...' The Joestars, the single line of petty humans who had kept foiling his plans for over a century seemed to serve him good at the last descendant of the family's final moments.
Even after all their trouble trying to hamper DIO, it seemed that in the end it only served to help his purpose!
Yes! His worst enemies were his brothers in arms! They were there to help him, DIO, grow in power and might! It's all coming together! Jonathan was there to give DIO a body! Joseph was there to give DIO blood at the right time! And Jotaro was the final push he needed to surpass his, DIO's, own limits! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
"Now, then ..."
"I guess I should find Jotaro's lifeless body and drink his blood," DIO brimmed in anticipation and excitement. "If there's any blood left to take…"
If drinking Joseph's blood made him double the amount of stopped time he could move in, then just how much would his skill improve if he drank Jotaro's blood?
Youth, which was an important factor to the amount of nutrition vampires receive per each liter of blood. Jotaro, who was not only a part of the Joestar family in blood, but was also young to the point of naivety for believing that he could take on the great DIO in a duel! HIM! DIO?! Preposterous!
The machine creaked.
"What?" DIO was confused as to what was happening. 'My body's movements are slowing down…'
DIO tried to move his arm.
He failed.
He tried to move his hand.
He failed.
He tried to move his finger.
He failed that too.
"N-No... I'm not slowing down..." DIO came to the horrible realization. "I cannot move. I-Impossible!"
"M-My body won't move at all!" He was already struggling to move his mouth to get the words out.
He, DIO, finally pieced everything together when he heard a voice behind him.
"DIO!"
The blasted Joestar!
"It's been eleven seconds, I guess that's your limit now."
'Jotaro!' DIO boiled in frustration.
"I stopped time at the nine second mark, that let me escape."
'I see, so that's how! Tch!' DIO would grit his teeth if he could, but he couldn't even move his eyebrows.
"Yare yare daze," Jotaro sighed his favourite one-liner, signalling that he intends to end everything. He pointed his finger at DIO, Star Platinum emerging from behind like a protective mother. "Now, now… It won't take even a second to finish you off!"
'J-Jotaro!' DIO was basically bathing in anger.
"ORA!" Star Platinum struck DIO's kneecaps.
"Time has begun to move again," Jotaro said offhandedly.
The signature vroooom of the iconic time stopping ability and the world started moving once again. DIO was catapulted from top of the ruined road roller and onto the hard asphalt of Egyptian road.
An awful sound was made as DIO's kneecaps collided into each other and made blood spurt everywhere. "Haaaah... Hahhh..." DIO breathed heavily in response to not only the pain of his heavily broken legs, but also from the pain of having been 300 IQ-ed by a human once again as he used his arms to try and get up.
"I don't feel even the slightest bit of compassion for you. Nor do I have pity," Jotaro apathetically said as soon as he landed in front of DIO. "However, just finishing you off by beating you to death now would leave a bad taste in my mouth.
"How many seconds will it take for your legs to recover?" Jotaro asked as DIO was thinking about how to retaliate. DIO's legs twitched and sizzled as they slowly regenerated. "Three seconds? Four?" Jotaro estimated out loud. "The moment you've healed, I'll throw Star Platinum at you."
"...so, bring it on!" "ORA!"
!?
"If I were a gunslinger in the West, I'd say..." Jotaro walked in closer to DIO who was still writhing on the asphalt. "...draw. Let's see who's the fastest gun in the West."
DIO could only think of one reason why Jotaro wasn't ending his life immediately, and the result enraged him even further. 'H-He's ... mocking me!' DIO couldn't just stay cool at the sight of a mere human looking down on him, he couldn't just let a piece of meat like that go away unscathed at all.
This human kept driving him so far into a corner, not just once but more than twice!
'You may have come this far, but you are still only human!' DIO grinned. 'Fufufufufu...'
'Things about leaving a bad taste in your mouth, or living your life with no regrets... That kind of reasoning is about as compelling as rat shit in a bathroom! And it will be your demise!'
"Fufufufufu ..." Even despite the large amount of pain DIO was feeling, he couldn't help but laugh at the human psychology.
'I, DIO, have no such thoughts ... within my mind is but one simple thought.
'Just one!
'To be victorious and to rule! That is all. That is all I need to feel satisfaction.
'How I do it...'
"...does not matter!" DIO yelled. His leg was healed enough to function. He kicked at empty air to fling the blood at Jotaro's eyes.
The blood hit Jotaro's eyes successfully, rendering his vision useless in the critical moment.
"How do you like being blinded by blood?!"
'Your grandfather's blood... your great-great-grandfather's blood...'
"I've won! Now, die!" DIO once again called upon his Stand, The World to end the Joestar legacy once and for all!
The World spun around and extended it's leg, intending to perform a roundhouse kick, for it was common sense that leg power far outclassed arm power. DIO was no longer taking any chances. The damn Joestar's head must roll before DIO rests.
Jotaro's Star Platinum blindly jabbed at The World's direction. With a loud crack, Jotaro was saved by decapitation. Jotaro wasn't saved from all the damage, evidence was his bloody fist.
DIO smirked at Jotaro's stupidity. His naive, useless attempts at taking DIO down. He was human after all, and humans were limited by their own-
"WHAT?!"
The World grew cracks. The ran from the kneecap and extended towards the facial portion of the Stand.
"I-Impossible! This cannot be! I am DIO! I am immortal! I have trancended humanity!" DIO's body failed him as he crawled away from Jotaro. His bones protested as more blood dripped down from his open wounds.
"KONO DIO DA!"
With one last scream of protest, DIO cursed the world he was born in. He cursed the Joestar bloodline that hindered all his plans. He cursed his father for not being rich. He cursed everything.
The life of DIO ends in this world with the rays of sunlight glaring at his dead, bloodied body.
MUDA MUDA MUDA
A warm light enveloped DIO, as if he was a newborn bathing in the warm LED light of a hospital light after just being born.
But unlike an LED light, the light felt much more natural... much warmer.
DIO found himself opening his eyes, only for his vision to be directly obstructed by the last thing he would expect, sunlight.
"Fu... It's been such a long time since I've felt sunlight..." The sunlight was warm, and it held DIO with a nostalgic warmth that he yearned to feel again but wasn't able to, due to his sacrifice to attain immortality.
'Sunlight ...'
Yes, the warm sunlight.
'...sunlight?'
Ahh, the sunlight that plants and living things need.
'SUNLIGHT!'
"WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" DIO held up his hands, shielding himself from the burning sunlight he so much wanted yet had to avoid because of his racial characteristics...
"-YYYYYY... yyyyy..."
He waited for the burning sensation...
"...y?"
That never came.
'What's going on ... I should be burning from the sunlight right now ...' DIO questioned as to how he was facing sunlight straight on. He was left confused once again, but there was something else that left him with more confusion.
"Where... am I?" Instead of the concrete jungle where he fought Jotaro which was Egypt, he was sitting on a bright green plain of grass.
DIO didn't realize it then, but he would soon... as he had no choice but to acknowledge the fact...
That he, DIO, woke up in another world...
DIO'S WORLD
Yo guys, co-author here with a small note. This chapter is brought to you by me, Sagarel D. Vile, but was written by Kekw, the co-author of this project. I'll be posting the next chapter tomorrow or the day after that— the next chapter is the one I've written, so the writing style is kinda different. There's another co-author, he's more like a backseat guy I suppose, guyNumber23.
Me and Kekw will be doing a switching sort of thing. She writes odd numbered chapters, I write even. (PM me who has got the better writing style. LMAO)
...Dunno when the third chapter will come though since Kekw is writing that one. She has a more important project in her hands..
Reviews are always appreciated. Yes, flames even.
