This is Usagi and Mamoru one shot taking place after the big battle between Pharoah 90 in Sailor Moon Crystal.

Normal POV

Mamoru stood outside on his balcony letting the cold air hit his face as he looked around at his beautiful city seeing it perfectly intact thanks to neo queen serenity aka his Usa. He looked back through the doors seeing her and chibi-usa fast asleep, he couldn't blame them this final battle was more notorious then any they've faced before. He should be sleeping too but for some reason his body wouldn't let him.

"Mamo." He felt arms wrap around him and heard the sweet voice of his love.

"Usa." He grabbed her hand pulling her around him and into his chest. "What are you doing up?"
"I woke up for a moment to switch positions when I saw you out here, why aren't you sleeping?"
"I can't seem to." Mamo placed his head on top of hers as they held each other close. "You know Usa that was really stupid of you to do, sacrifice yourself to destroy Pharoah 90." Mamo said as he pulled her back to look her in the eyes.

"It wasn't stupid."
"You're right it was brave."
"It was and I had no other choice, everyone else was out of power, I was the only one standing."
"I know but I could have lost you. I thought I had lost you. And I hated that I couldn't protect you." Usagi lifted her hand running it through his hair.

"There was nothing you could have done." Mamo closed his eyes knowing she was right. "But I'm here and alive and with you."

"Thank god." He whispered before pulling in for a kiss.

"You want to know what I was thinking about as I was falling."
"What?"
"You. How if I die in this moment that I will die being in love and that I at least got to be with you fully." Mamo shook his head. "But now we can have countless nights together."
"I am very glad we can." Mamo wrapped his arms tighter around her not wanting to let her go.

"Mamo, Usagi." They looked over at the open door to see Chibi-Usa rubbing her eyes.

"What are you doing up?" Mamo asked through a chuckle.

"I was cold."

"Let's all head in then." Mamo picked up Chibi-Usa and placed her back in bed as Usagi closed the door behind her the three of them got into bed. Mamoru watched Usagi and Chibi-Usa instantly fall asleep, he saw Usagi hand laying there above Chibi-Usa's head he grabbed it before falling asleep tonight but tonight he wasn't filled with the nightmare of the destruction of the world and not knowing if the silhouette was the guardian of destruction or the messiah.

Mamoru was the first one up he wasn't all that surprised while he was an early bird, his lovely Usa and future daughter were not, like mother like daughter he chuckled as he pulled the blanket over both of them. They both went through a lot the last few days they deserved to sleep in. He grabbed his book from the night stand and headed into the living room and started to read.

"Good Morning Mamo." Chibi-Usa squealed as she jumped into his lap.

"Good Morning to you too. Is Usagi still asleep?"
"No she is not." Usagi came out of the room. Mamo closed his book placing it beside him as grinned when Usagi gave him a kiss on the side of his head.

"Either we can have breakfast here or go out, what do you girls want?"

"Out." They simultaneously spoke.

"Do you think we should invite the other girls too, better yet maybe not, my wallet can only handle you two."
"MAMO!" Usagi slapped him playfully as he chuckled.

"Let's go for breakfast." They nodded as Chibi-Usa ran to the bathroom locking it before Usagi could get in. Mamoru grabbed his book knowing it'll be a while till he gets his chance so he'll just happily wait.

At breakfast

"Look at the happy family." All three looked towards the voice to see the girls as Mina smiled.

"Hi guys, why don't you join us?" Chibiusa asked.

"You don't mind?" Maoko asked.

"Not at all." Mamo said hesitantly as the girls chuckled.

"Don't worry we will pay for our own, you got enough to worry about with those two." Usagi glared as Mamoru chuckled. He placed an arm around Usagi as the girls settled in.

"Has anyone seen Michiru, Haruka and Setsuna?" Usagi asked. Everyone shook their heads.

"I was hoping I'd get to see Hotaru one last time." Chibiusa spoke sadly.

"We taught the same thing." Setsuna spoke. The group looked at the three women then at Michiru holding baby Hotaru.

"Can I hold her?" Usagi asked as Michiru nodded handing her over. Usagi looked into Hotaru's eyes and saw pure innocence. Chibiusa looked over Usagi's shoulder at Hotaru. Every single one of them got to hold baby Hotaru, the last one was Mamoru and Usagi got a glimpse of the future of when he would be holding baby Chibiusa in his arms, she couldn't wait for that day.

"We should be off now?"
"Will we see you guys again?" Ami asked.

"We'll keep in touch." Haruka smiled before the three walked off.

"Now let's eat!" Usagi exclaimed as everyone laughed.

"Mamo?" Chibiusa asked half asleep.

"Yeah."
"Will Hotaru be ok?"
"She's going to be ok, Setsuna, Haruka and Michura will take good care of her."

"I love you Mamo." She mumbled before falling asleep. Mamoru lifted up the blanket to cover her before kissing her forehead.

"I love you too." He kept the light on before slowly walking out of the room. "She's asleep." Mamo said closing the door behind him.
"She had an exhausting day but the good kind." Mamo nodded as he sat next to Usagi who brought the blanket over both of them. "Now we get some time to ourselves."

"That we do. Today was the perfect day."

"Now let's hope we have more days like this then days like yesterday."
"I hope so Usa." Mamo lifted her chin up and kissed her. Mamoru watched as Usagi laid her head on his shoulder and he truly hoped that if there was a new villain in the midst that it wouldn't rear its ugly head for some time because they all deserved some peace and happiness even if it's for just a little bit.
