Zero Chance of Redeeming a Broken Heart
Kara woke up with head throbbing and her whole body aching, burning up like it was on fire. The last thing she remembered was talking to Lena, or at least this world's version of Lena.
She lifted her head, taking in her surroundings. She was in a mostly empty room, the only thing in there was a small bed and shelves with... kryptonite. Very sharp looking kryptonite. Well that explained the green light in the room.
"Ah you're awake." Her gaze was drawn to the door when Lena stood. She had her arms crossed over her chest, but Kara could still see the green glow. She shivered at the sight. Lena started walking towards the Super, slowly, almost teasingly, swaying her hips as she approached, "Comfortable?" She snickered at the chained up blonde.
"Lena... please, we can still fix this." Her jaw ached as she talked, her voice strained.
"Fix it? There's nothing to fix here Supergirl. Everything is just perfect. Well now that I have my new weapon that is." Lena chuckled, not the warm, cheerfully one that Kara knew, but a dark and sinister one. Lena walked over to one of the many kryptonite crystals lining the shelf, she gave Kara a smirk over her shoulder as he picked up a piece and walked back to the chained hero.
"You're not like this. I know you Lena, you're a good person, the best person I had the pleasure of knowing. Of loving." Kara's eyes darted from Lena's face to the kryptonite in her hand.
"Loving?" Lena quirked a brow, "I see. What in interesting relationship you and my other self have. A Luthor and a Super." Lena dragged the sharp tip of the crystal across Kara's arm, her blue suit staining with blood along the cut. Kara grunted in pain, clenching her teeth but she didn't take her eyes away from her captor. Lena removed the kryptonite from her skin and licked the blood dripping down the edge. She walked behind the Super and leaned in to whisper in her ear, "You know I could give you that too. And better. Just be my weapon, be mine. And I'll give you anything you want." Lena bit Kara's ear, slow and sensual at first. But then she bit hard making Kara wince at the sharp tingle of pain.
"You're not my Lena." She shot Lena a pointed look, "But that doesn't mean I can just give up on you. I want to help you."
"Then you're a fool Supergirl. I'm not looking for help." Lena dragged the crystal down Kara's neck, the Super hissing and groaning painfully as she tried to move her head away but to no avail, "Hmm... stubborn. No matter. I love a challenge." Lena walked back to the shelf and pit the crystal back into its place.
"Lena..." Kara called after her what the Luthor started walking away.
Lena paused at the door and turned to look at her, "That crystal is already stained with you blood. I wonder how many more it'll take before I break you. And mark my words Supergirl, I will break you." Lena chuckled and winked at her before leaving Kara alone with her thoughts.
Was this her fate now? Was she destined to be tormented for the rest of her life? Could Lena really break her? No, no, she wouldn't allow that. She will find a way to get through to Lena. No matter what, no matter how many times she had to bleed for it. Because after all, she loved her. And love makes you do crazy things.
