Note: Naruto is older than his siblings, being five years old during the Kyuubi attack.

Chapter 1: Rise and Fall

Minato groans as he peruses through the huge pile of paperwork on his desk. Its been one thing after another, first Orochimaru attacked the village during the Chunin Exams, and now Sasuke has gone rogue. He sent his eldest son, Naruto and some of the other Clan Heirs to bring him back.

His musings are interrupted by his student, Kakashi bursting into the office.

"Sensei, I've got bad news!"

Minato adopts a serious look, "Tell me."

"Naruto was able to bring Sasuke back, but he was severely injured."

Minato sighs, "I'm not surprised, Sasuke is very skilled."

Kakashi frowns, "But that's not all; as soon as he made it back to the village, he was arrested by the Civilian Council and the Elders."

Minato scowls, "Call a meeting, I'm putting a stop to this, right now."

Kakashi nods, "I'm on it."

Minato grits his teeth as he grips his special kunai, "Those fools, when will they realize the truth."

Minato bursts into the meeting room, "Would someone like to explain just what the hell is going on!?"

His outburst startles the Civilian Council, while the Clan Heads all frown at them, having an idea of what this is about.

Koharu sticks her nose up at him, "The demon has been arrested and is to be executed as a traitor for harming the Uchiha heir."

Hiashi frowns, "The Uchiha betrayed the village and left to join Orochimaru."

Tomura scoffs, "It was the cursed mark that affected his mind."

"Sasuke would never betray the village of his own free will."

Shikaku rolls his eyes, "Oh yes, because you're all experts in sealing."

Shibi nods, "Calling young Naruto a traitor is illogical."

Danzo glares at them, "It doesn't matter, we've already sent word to the Fire Daimyo and he's already ordered the demon's execution."

This causes a look of horror to appear on the faces of Minato and all the Clan Heads, while the Civilian Council members, and the elders all smirk.

Minato takes a deep breath to calm himself down, before adopting a serious look, "So, you think you're so smart."

Everyone adopts a confused look, but before anyone can respond, he continues.

"I'm afraid that none of you are nearly as smart as you like to believe."

Inoichi frowns, "Minato, what are you trying to say?"

Minato scowls at the elders, "Naruto is not the Jinchuriki, he never was."

This causes massive amount of shock to pass through the entire room.

Choza gulps, "Minato, what are you saying?"

Minato sighs, "I split the fox up and sealed it into my other three children."

Tsume adopts a horrified look, "Are you saying that the pup was mistreated for no reason?"

Minato nods, "Naruto made the decision to have everyone believe him to be the Jincuriki so that his siblings wouldn't have to suffer."

He glares at the Civilian Council and the elders, "So now, thanks to you; my son is going to die for a crime he didn't commit and this village will have lost one of its greatest potential shinobi."

"So, I hope your ready to face my wife's anger at losing her child."

This causes the Civilian Council to pale at the thought of facing the fiery woman.

Minato turns and walks out of the room, too disgusted to continue speaking to them. He walks towards the hospital where the other Clan Heirs are being treated. He walks into the room, where he finds the Clan Heirs being treated by Tsunade.

Also, in the room is Jiraiya, Kushina and their children, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Anko and Ibiki, Kakashi and the other sensei's, Iruka and the Konohamaru Corps. Kushina instantly notices her husband and rushes over to him.

"Minato, you're here."

Minato kisses his wife, before turning to Tsunade.

"How is their condition, Tsunade?"

The slug sage sighs, "Overall, none of them have life threating injuries."

"However, they will still be out of action for a while."

Minato nods, "Do everything you can for them."

Mito, Natsumi and Menma all latch onto their father, "Tou-san, what about oni-san?"

Kushina nods, "Where is he, anyway?"

Minato sighs, "The Civilian Council and elders have sent a letter to the Fire Daimyo, telling him that Naruto is a traitor and that he attacked Sasuke for no reason."

This causes outrage to spread throughout the room.

Kushina's eyes turn white and her hair starts to come to life, frightening everyone in the room.

"I'll kill those bastards, no one touches my babies!"

Minato shakes his head, "It's too late, the Daimyo has ordered Naruto's execution."

This causes absolute shock to shoot through the room, which is broken up by Kushina latching onto her husband, with tears rushing down her face.

"No, I can't lose my baby, I just can't."

Minato grits his teeth as he comforts his wife, "I know, I'm sorry."

While this is going on, his younger children all latch onto him seeking comfort as well, while the rest of the room also begin to tear up as well.

Eventually, Minato, Kushina and their children head to the prison to meet with Naruto. Minato opens the door and he clenches his fist at the sight of his son. Naruto is on his knees, with his arms restrained behind his back. He is covered in scratches and cuts, likely from torture.

Naruto lifts his head and looks up at his father, "Tou-san."

Minato cringes at how hoarse his son's voice sounds, most likely from not having anything to drink since he was arrested. Before Minato can respond to his son, his other three children all rush past him and latch onto their brother, tears pouring down their face.

"Oni-san!"

Naruto chuckles with a smile on his face, "Hello, chibis."

Kushina can't hold it in anymore and dashes forward, wrapping her arms around all of her children.

Minato frowns, "Naruto, I'm so sorry."

Naruto chuckles humorlessly, "You don't have to apologize, I knew they'd find a way to get rid of me eventually."

Minato grits his teeth, "Naruto, don't you realize that I'm being forced to send you to your death!?"

Naruto smiles, "It doesn't matter, as long as my chibis are kept safe, I don't care if I die."

Minato gives his son a sad look, "Naruto, no matter what happens, I'll always be proud of you."

He walks up and joins his family in the group hug.

Minato grits as his teeth as the civilians and shinobi that hate his son cheer and yell for Naruto's death. Kushina decided to stay home with their other children, unable to watch Naruto's death. Hiruzen also decided to not watch the execution, remaining at his clan compound with his grandson.

Finally, Naruto is brought out into the open, his arms and legs chained together to prevent escape. He is brought towards the center of the area and is forced onto his knees.

Sasuke sneers down at him, "Any last words, dobe?"

Naruto grits his teeth and looks up at Sasuke with an angry look.

"Do you think this is the end?"

Sasuke scoffs, "You're going to die, dobe."

"And when you do, I'll finally have the power I need to defeat Itachi."

Naruto glares at Sasuke, while breathing hard. Then, to everyone's shock his eyes change from their normal blue color, to a hateful yellow.

"I may die, but I won't be gone forever." "And when I return, I will drown this world in darkness!"

Sasuke has had enough and rams his Chidori through Naruto's chest, making him choke up blood and hack and wheeze.

Naruto smirks at Sasuke, "Goodbye Sasuke, it's been fun."

Sasuke's eyes widen as he realizes that nothing has changed, his Sharingan have not evolved.

As Naruto lay dying, his soul slowly leaves his body and flies towards the sky. Kami has a sad look on her face as her chosen one's soul flies towards her. Naruto was not supposed to have died until much later. As she goes to claim the soul, it instead flies off towards what appears to be an enormous heart.

"What was…?"

Much later…

Master Xehanort pants as he leans on the X-Blade. After all these years, his plans have all come to an end, thanks to a boy named Sora. As he continues to glare at the heroes, his eyes widen at the sudden appearance of his old friend; Master Eraqus.

"Xehanort, it's time to let go."

Xehanort growls at him and climbs to his feet. He pulls up the X-Blade and points it at Eraqus.

"No, not yet." "Not until I have claimed the light of Kingdom Hearts."

This causes an angered Sora, to begin ranting about Xehanort's actions and the people he's hurt. Sora takes a deep breath, calming himself, before he begins to try and reason with him; to try and make him see the truth.

Master Eraqus frowns, "Listen to him Xehanort, it's not too late to put an end to this madness."

Master Xehanort continues to glare at the heroes, before sighing and lowering his weapon. Eraqus walks up to his old friend and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"It's time to come home, old friend."

Xehanort smiles, "It's been along time, old friend."

The two masters smile at the heroes, thanking them for everything they've done, before vanishing.

When Xehanort opens his eyes, he finds himself in a strange, ethereal realm.

"What is this place?"

"Master."

His eyes widen and turs around to find his various counterparts; Young Xehanort, Ansem, Xemnas and Terra-Xehanort.

Young Xehanort walks up to his future self, "Master, how did we get to this place?"

He shakes his head, "I'm not sure."

"I brought you here."

They all turn to find the most beautiful woman any of them have ever seen.

The woman gives Master Xehanort a sad smile, "It's been a long time."

"Do I know you?"

She nods, "I am Kami."

Xehanort's eyes widen, before calming down from his shock.

"What would a goddess like yourself want with me?"

She puts a hand on his cheek, "I'm sorry Naruto."

Xehanort's eyes widen, before angrily shaking her hand off, "That's not my name anymore."

She nods, "I know, but it wasn't meant to be this way."

"You weren't meant to die that day; you were supposed to live on and eventually succeed your father as the Hokage."

Xehanort scoffs, "Regardless, it did happen and that's all there is to it."

She nods, "Yes, but that's not the end."

"Your journey is not yet over."

He frowns, "And why would I ever consider returning?"

"In case you have forgotten, I've been in this form for decades." "The people who betrayed me are most likely dead."

She shakes her head, "No, time moves differently in between realities."

"In your original world, only three years have passed."

Xehanort's eyes widen, before he frowns, "What's your point?"

Kami adopts a shocked look, "You would choose death?"

He sighs, "I'm old, I've fought long enough."

"Let someone else take over."

She gives him a sad smile, "And what of your chibis?"

His eyes widen, before becoming angry, "Leave them out of this."

She smiles, "You still care, even after everything that's happened."

He grunts, "They are fine, our parents can take care of them."

Kami shakes her head, "There is much you don't know."

He narrows his eyes, "What do you mean?"

Kami waves her hand, causing a small window to appear. In the window, an image of his three siblings appear.

"Your chibis, have just recently become Genin." "They are studying underneath your old teacher."

Xehanort arches an eyebrow, "Kakashi-sensei?"

"What about Sasuke and Sakura?"

The image changes to the Uchiha in question.

"After your execution, Sasuke was forced to flee the village with Danzo, after being accused of treason." "They went to Sound Country and have joined forces with Orochimaru." "As for Sakura; she is still in the village and is still loyal to the Uchiha."

He scoffs, "Why am I not surprised?"

"There's another threat, you must be wary of."

He raises an eyebrow, letting her know to continue.

"There is a group known as the Akatsuki."

He frowns, "Akatsuki?"

She nods, "They are a group of S-Rank Missing Nin."

"There mission is to capture all the Jinchuriki and extract their Bijuu."

Xehanort frowns, "For what purpose?"

She frowns as well, "They plan to create a weapon to force an end to the fighting between the villages."

Xehanort gives off a cruel chuckle, "Hubris, there is no such thing as world peace, I should know."

She nods, "Yes, but the extraction process causes the death of the vessel."

Xehanort's eyes widen, before adopting an angry look, "In other words…"

She nods, "Yes, your chibis, along with your friend Gaara will die if their beasts are removed."

"There is one other thing."

He narrows his eyes, "Such as?"

"One of the Akatsuki members is the same masked man that caused the Kyuubi attack all those years ago."

Xehanort scratches his chin, "That's very interesting."

He looks at Kami with a tired look, "Even if I wanted to help, I am old."

"I may have wisdom and experience on my side, but I'm not still not the warrior I used to be."

She nods, "I am aware of this, which is why I've come up with a solution."

"I will use my powers to merge you with all your counterparts, to create a younger body more suited to this task." "Your new body will have all your decades of wisdom and experience, along with the combined powers and abilities of all your different incarnations."

Xehanort scratches his chin with a thoughtful look, before frowning, "Then do it."

"Send me back, before I change my mind."

She smiles, "Good luck, Naruto, I pray that your journey is successful."

Kami waves her hand, causing the other incarnations to transform into orbs of light and fly into Master Xehanort, who then starts to glow himself. Xehanort turns into an orb of light and flies off into the distance.
