I'm baaaaaaackkkkkkk!

Yay, I'm back, sorry for ditching you all for so long, I broke three bones at once (which is not fun by the way, please don't do it, stay safe people!) So I had to take a break. I'll admit I didn't expect to be spending so long on a break but Oh well, I'm back now, hopefully for good, thanks for bearing with me!

I hope everyone is doing well! So, this is a pretty short one-shot, mostly inspired from that one scene when Fontaine and Finn are trapped in the giant clam talking about their hobbies and how good they are at playing their instruments.

I'm kind of on a roll with one-shots at the moment, I've got lots of ideas for them so I'm trying to get lots of them written so I can focus more on my multi-chapter fics. I promise I'm still working on the multi-chapters but I'm writing as inspiration strikes me so they definitely aren't abandoned, I'm just focusing more on other stuff currently.

"Ugh, Fontaine, please, stop, you're torturing my brain!" Ant wailed dramatically while rolling about on the floor, clutching his ears as though they were being burned.

Fontaine merely rolled her eyes and continued strumming her guitar, getting just a little louder by the second.

However, when her brother continued his impressive performance of twisting and turning on the floor for the next few minutes, she played even louder and had to speak rather loudly so her brother would hear:

"Oh come on, Ant! Feel the music, it's great!"

"I hate to break it to you, Fontaine, but that is not music, it sounds terrifying, you could severely hurt someone with it," Ant insisted.

Fontaine rolled her eyes again and continued playing, perhaps even just a little louder than before.

She smiled to herself quietly. She knew that Ant would never stop saying that her music was an abomination to the senses and that he hated it with all his might. But she knew that deep down he didn't mean any of it, he was just following their unwritten sibling code.

Argue, always. Insult each other, as much as you want. Make fun of each other and never stop talking about things you know annoy them.

It didn't matter what the sibling was doing, you could insult them as much as you wanted but at the end of the day, they knew you would always mean the opposite of what you were saying.

Regardless of whatever her brother said, Fontaine knew she was pretty good at playing guitar, even if she'd never admit it aloud to another human being (she didn't want to become as big-headed as Ant) and she was going to make sure she kept playing, even if it meant just using her music to torture her brother for entertainment.

Madeline rolled her eyes as she heard the truly horrific sounds coming from her brothers trumpet.

He thought no one could hear him and he never played unless he thought he was alone, but on a sub as rundown and rusted as the Dark Orca, the pipes carried sound and it was easy to hear what was going on, even from the other end of the sub.

Honestly, there were few things Madeline hated over her brothers terrible trumpet playing. No one knew where he'd even gotten the slightly dented, old instrument from in the first place. It had just showed up one day and brought a deathly awful screeching sound with it.

Despite how much Madeline loathed her brothers awful trumpet skills (not that they could really be called skills) she would never and could never find it in her heart to tell him just how bad it was.

Hammerhead felt the same, he knew just how terrible his son was with the trumpet but that didn't mean he was planning on saying anything about it.

When his son played the trumpet, as bad as it was, he seemed happy, and if making a deafening, horrific load of noise made Finn happy, then Hammerhead was more than happy to let it slide.

Sooo, yeah, just a little one-shot of Hammerhead being a good dad and Madeline being a good sister by not telling her brother just how awful his playing is and, of course, Ant being a great brother by following sibling law and making sure to insult Fontaine as much as possible. Yeah, I hope you enjoyed. XD

I'm hoping to be writing a lot more regularly now, sorry again for being gone for so long.
