I'm currently very stuck on my other WIPs and Bad Things Happen Bingo card, and I saw some Tumblr prompts and decided to give those a try. I don't really have any Lone Star followers to ask for requests so I used Google to get random numbers to match the lists and wrote the first thing that came to mind. Decided to post as a collection in hopes I write more of these. Enjoy!

Carlos wakes up to a warm body pressed against his back, one arm across his middle and soft fingers tracing a path across his bare back. Sighing in contentment, Carlos takes a moment to take it all in before he announces to the world, and the man next to him, that he is awake.

"I dreamt about you last night," a voice still slurred with sleep says next to him, making Carlos smile because of course TK knew he was no longer asleep. By now they both know all the ins and outs of each other, including the difference in breathing between the last inhale of the day and the first exhale of the morning, and every moment in between that takes their breaths away.

"Is that so?" Carlos asks, eyebrow quirked up even if TK can't see him. And more than surprised by the fact, Carlos wonders how TK managed to dream at all. Last night all his dreams became reality so he now sincerely wonders if he will ever dream again.

"It's so," TK agrees, soft kisses pressed to Carlos' shoulder blade and neck, making him hum his appreciation; his eyes still closed as he ponders how he ever got this lucky.

"What did you dream about?" Carlos asks eventually, turning in TK's arms and breaking into a grin as soon as he takes in TK's dazed gaze and disheveled hair.

"Hey." TK smiles back and moves a hand to cup Carlos' face, thumb sweetly caressing his cheek, then moving to his lip a few seconds before TK leans forward and captures said lips in a searing kiss.

"Hi," Carlos whispers into the air in between their lips. "Good morning."

"The best of mornings," TK breathes out, an exhale which ends inside his boyfriend as they both lean forward to share another kiss, this one quicker but equally passionate as hands meet in the middle, before all four limbs begin exploring any exposed skin within reach.

TK wastes no time moving to the waistband of Carlos' sweatpants but ends up groaning as the man in question snatches his hand and pulls it away. A whine also escapes TK as Carlos breaks his attempt at another kiss, forcing him to chase his face forward as Carlos' lips are overtaken by a smirk and TK's by a scowl. "You look adorable when you pout," Carlos says, releasing TK's hand and moving his own to brush some errant locks away from TK's forehead before he presses a kiss there. "You never told me what your dream was about."

"I dreamt that we got married."

Carlos' breath catches in his throat at the admission, before his face breaks into another smile. Because smiling is apparently all he can do today. "How was it?"

"It was great. We got married in New York. Then we had our honeymoon in Paris."

At the words, Carlos cocks his head to the side, eyes squinting and nose scrunched as he tries to study TK's face, hoping to figure out how the other man feels about that. Getting nothing, he sighs and asks, "was it better?"

"Nope." TK gives nothing else away, and Carlos starts to feel a familiar seed of doubt begin to grow deep in his gut, but before he can question the man further, TK pushes him against the bed and climbs into him, until his bent knees are straddling his lap, and both of his hands are held within TK's warm ones. "Babe, nothing could be better than last night," he continues, accentuating each word with a kiss to one of Carlos' knuckles, starting in his right pinky and ending in his left middle finger. "Because it was real, and because now I can do this." TK takes a moment to look down on him and smiles, before he presses a kiss to the fourth digit on Carlos' left hand, just on top of the delicate golden band that's shining there, a multitude of colors sparkling in the metal as sunlight filters through the window and hits it straight through. Carlos' wedding ring beaming with all the colors of their lives. TK's no longer grey, and Carlos' more than just black and white.

Closing his eyes for a moment, Carlos remembers the previous night. A quiet wedding in the backyard of their new house, with their family, blood and otherwise, and each other, because after all they had survived individually and as a couple, nothing else mattered. Occasionally they had discussed the possibility of a bigger gathering, and a different location, but in the end, they had chosen to celebrate in the city that brought them together, in their new home, and with the people that loved them the most, not because they had to, but because they wanted to.

"I love you," he says softly, a hand moving to TK's face as he carefully wipes away a few tears he now sees streaming down his face. "Why are you crying?"

"Because it really is real," TK says simply, voice full of awe as his eyes take in the wedding band on his own finger. His hand outstretched in front of his face, as TK just whirls it around, back, front, and back again, his green orbs glued to the ring.

"It really is." Carlos nods and feels tears spring to his eyes too, some treacherous ones managing to break free but not surviving for long as TK quickly brushes them off before they can do any more damage than Carlos' red rimmed eyes and damp face. "Thank you for saying yes."

"Thank you for asking."

"We both asked."

That brings a laugh to both men as they remember their double proposal, and all tears are forgotten as they start giggling before TK falls down on top of Carlos, ending the moment, and quickly pushing them back into what almost began about 15 minutes ago. It starts with a chaste kiss, before it turns more passionate and the few layers of clothes between them start disappearing and tumbling to the floor. Hands moving as quick as their lips as both TK and Carlos get lost in the taste and feel of the other. Both men glad they decided to start their honeymoon on Monday, knowing they'd want to spend the weekend doing other things.

And before those things fully begin and take over, TK breaks the kiss for a second and whispers against his husband's lips, "I love you, too, Carlos Reyes," because no matter the occasion, he can never not say it back.

"Reyes-Stra-" Carlos tries to correct but TK again captures his lips in a quickly deepened kiss, and the moment is broken. But lucky for them, today is just the beginning of forever, and they will have many more times to remind each other that now they are Reyes-Strand and Strand-Reyes, and no one will ever take that away from them. Not even their own desperate desire to turn their love into something more physical than just a declaration.
