This takes place after the scene in Venom when Eddie meets Anne's boyfriend Dan.
"6 months? It's only been 6 months…that's such a short amount of time? Isn't it? Maybe? I got to stop talking to myself." Eddie muttered to himself as he climbed up his apartment stairs.
Eddie plopped down in front of his computer and continued trying to talk himself out of looking up this "Doctor Dan" and trying to find out what his ex-fiancé saw in him. Sure…he was a doctor but 6 months? They were planning to get married and how Annie was with someone else and he was…struggling.
"I just hope I never need a doctor," Eddie said to himself slamming down the lid of his laptop. "6 damn months Annie?"
It wasn't long after Eddie would first start to hear that voice in his head that he didn't want to ever get rid of.
"Maybe 6 months really is a long enough time…" Eddie said out loud to himself and his symbiote Venom.
"Eddie…" Venom responded.
"Shit," Eddie said after hearing Venom say his name. "I get it now"
