Lps High Ep.13 Your Call, My Dream
As days went by Pepper tried to keep her relationship with Sunil a secret and Sunil only told those who he trusted. This morning was slow for her, she had nothing to do. She was thinking about telling Zoe but was it time to tell Zoe about it? She didn't know but Pepper knew Xoe would never doubt her so she picked up her phone and as she did Zoe had already messaged her "Hey Pepp" she sent. Pepper didn't know why she was nervous telling Zoe about her and Sunil she was her only best friend. She replied to her text "Hi Zoe something happened a few days ago". Zoe asked her what happened and Pepper sent her an answer "Well I talked to Sunil and he really liked and he wanted to be together and we are". She waited to see for a reply from Zoe but she waited and waited for a while and still no answer back. She finally stopped waiting and went to the kitchen for something to eat. She just made her some eggs but heard knocking at the door. She went to answer it and as she did it was Zoe there. She didn't say a word and she reached out and hugged Pepper "Ohhhh i'm so proud of you Pepp" said Zoe. It being a special moment Pepper hugged Zoe back for awhile. "You and Sunil….god I bet It's just an adorable sight" Zoe said.
Sunil was eating lunch home alone watching a video about cars. Russell called him during his time he was uncertain if he even wanted to answer it. Sunil had to, Russell was better than Vinnie and was only not playing a side so he answered. He said "Hey Russell how are you doing?". Russell didn't seem as right, probably just from what happened with Vinnie "Oh nothing much is with me but I'm sorry what happened with Vinnie...he can be an asshole sometimes". Sunil agreed with that saying "Ahh its fine Russell. Vinnie is that but I can't hate you for his choices you know that". Russell wanted to know how it was with Pepper now that Sunil was dating her "Well she was just very nice and I really thought she was cute I just never showed it around others but now I do". Russell wondered why Sunil never showed a crush but maybe it was best not to ask. "She played a song as we went out to a park that night and it was just the greatest most special thing ever Russell. So...how have you been doing about Zoe? " said Sunil. Russell never liked bringing up so much it only reminded him "It's nothing Sunil i'm trying to focus on other things at the moment that's all". Sunil was confused "Oh well...okay I guess maybe another day. But besides that I need to get off of here since I haven't talked to Pepper anytime today if you mind". He didn't mind Sunil leaving him to go on and talk to her. Sunil hung after a goodbye and he grew a bit concerned for Russell. Fred decided to show up again for reasons. "So….I thought I would give you a few days alone but you are faster than a damn bullet kid. And I knew this shit from day….12 or something I don't know". Sunil asked "Knew what?" And Fred replied "Uhh what the hell do you think Sunil the things with Pepper Clark….DUH you loose your fuckin memory or something?". Fred did guess he liked her but he knew almost every thought in Sunil's head so it didn't matter. "Okay fine...I like her. I never showed it because I thought she wouldn't like it and I never thought she would ever like me back Fred...happy I admitted it". Fred grinned hearing that "You better your ass im fucking happy I won this time" Sunil sighed as he rolled his eyes to Fred. "Well I guess you better get your phone now and give her a call". Sunil asked "A call why?". "Because if you really gave a shit you'd talk to her with a voice and not some bullshit text that's why". Sunil listened to his advice and called Pepper as he should.
Pepper and Zoe were just hanging out for the day since there wasn't anything else for them. Zoe wanted a drink so she left Pepper to wait on her for a second. Pepper waited on her bed then heard her phone going off for her. It was Sunil calling her so he wanted to answer it but she was nervous about Zoe hearing so she went into a storage room to talk to him. She answered the call "Hey Pepper, how is my party doll doing?" Sunil asked and he even admitted that was an awful saying. Pepper was just trying to be as quiet as she could. "Oh I'm okay Sunil I am hoping you're the same". Sunil was fine too because listening to her talk to him gave happy feeling. Pepper kinda noticed that everything they have done so far was because of Sunil. Pepper tried to find things for them to do but never had an answer. Sitting there thinking about what to do she remembered "Sunil, would you like to go to this...car show that's in downtown this Saturday. Sunil didn't have anything to do so he wanted to go with her "Yeah, I'd love to go Pepper. I know you really like old cars and such". Pepper had a burst of excitement. Sunil laughed hearing her on the phone so he definitely knew they were going this weekend. Pepper held her mouth after that she apologized even when Sunil didn't need one from her. His mother called him down telling him they were leaving "Hey Pepper I gotta go I will talk to you later...I love you". She smiled again with the sound "I love you too Sunil…" she said. He hung up after a final goodbye for their call. Pepper hugged her phone and went up to get out of the storage room. She opened the door to see Zoe standing right there. Standing there silent Pepper just felt embarrassed even when she knew. Zoe had her arms crossed with a smirk on her face. "You can't hide that from Pep but I knew you two were cute…" Zoe hugged her friend feeling good for Pepper. Zoe heard their plans and she offered Pepper a chance to get a makeover. Pepper though wasn't trying to impress Sunil too much. "Oh we won't do too much just clean you up and make improvements to your style, small things Pep that's all". Pepper agreed to do Zoe offering and they both headed off to a shop for now.
Sunil and his Mother were shopping that afternoon. They were just buying the usual foods and items. While his mother was looking, Sunil just decided to go and look around himself. He walked around more than looked at things on the shelves but one aisle he saw Russell looking at cleaning supplies for cars. Sunil walked up to him "Hey Russell I don't think this will clean rust". Russell wasn't amused by his joke like he ever has been. Sunil suggested a few products for cleaning certain parts of a car just to help him out. "Are you still ready for this weekend?" Russell asked. Sunil didn't know anything about it. Russell reminds him of their plans of staying at his house and hanging out for fun. "Oh….well you see I can't. I have plans with someone. I'm sorry but I gotta pass Russell". Russell sighed "Cmon Sunil...I get you like Pepper but goddamnit you still have to make a little room for us at least me…". Sunil didn't have much to say about this but he knew Russell regretted saying that. Sunil did understand him though besides him Russell barely had anyone around Vinnie has kinda grown away now. He apologized for what he said to Sunil knowing it was so selfish and wrong. That's one thing about Russell even when he makes mistakes he knows he made it before the damage is done. "Hey don't feel so bad about it Russell I'm going to be your friend while im with her she's my love and your my best friend man you know that". As Sunil put his arm across his friend his mother found him and it was time for them to go home. As they said goodbye Russell had to go buy other things while he was there. He walked aisle to aisle looking for his needs. He went to one where it was near the clothing while looking at dish soaps he saw Zoe and Pepper. Russell knew he had to leave, he just couldn't be seen by Zoe and he hoped he made it out unnoticed. He ran away again, he noticed his actions again and again. It was like a sickness only built by himself. Standing there he heard "Russell!" He turned around to see Zoe standing there. She looked worried. "Are you okay?" She asked him but Russell couldn't say much so he just muffled his words. Russell just sighed "No, I'm not I...don't know if you know but I have thoughts about things". Zoe wondered what things she asked him "Well, why are you always running from me?". Russell gave up the running and hiding "Okay, I need to at least tell you and that is that I have had feelings about you for awhile but i never shown my face because i've always thought I wasn't good for you" She smiled and walked closer Zoe always liked how kind he was "If there was a world where guys and girls had to be so perfect to be together nobody would be so happy for who they are Russell. I liked you too. That's why I tried to see you every chance. Let's give each other that chance,here ". She gave him a Paper with her phone number on it. She gave him a goodbye and he held that small paper watching Zoe walk back to Pepper. Russell just smiled to turn around and walk away to continue another day.
