Beverly ran through the barrier onto Platform 9 ¾ stuck in her thoughts and holding onto her cart for dear life. You can do this, there's no problem, you can floo and apparate with your parents but running into a brick wall is a problem. Breath Beverly, breath, pull yourself together.

Even though she's done this many times before, she could never get used to the feeling. Her parents were right behind her walking towards the train. Her parents, David and Sarah were picture perfect and the love they had for each other was rare. They are both pureblood, their marriage was arranged, luckily my father has already asked to court my mother before the arrangement was made. They showed me the type of love I should look and wait for. Walking down the platform, stuck in my thoughts, except suddenly I was pulled from them as I landed square of the ground.

I look up to see my favourite sandy-haired Gryffindor. "Bev! I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention, here, let me help you up," Remus smiled down at me holding his hand out. "Seriously Remus, it's ok, I wasn't exactly paying attention either." Both teenagers laughed as Beverly's parents came to hug her goodbye. "Have an amazing year June bug, her dad smiled at her. We'll see you at Christmas love, be safe and take care of yourself, you too Remus, watch out for our girl," her mother said with a bright smile. Secretly her parents wished Beverly would date the handsome Gryffindor as they loved him and thought they would be perfect for each other, but after many conversations, she made it clear that Remus Lupin was more like her brother than anything else. They knew what was coming, they didn't know when but could feel it would be soon. She waved goodbye to her parents, grabbed Remus, and ran for the train.

"Remus, do we have to sit with the other boys? Sirius doesn't stop flirting and Peter doesn't stop staring. James isn't all bad when lily isn't around but seriously please don't make me!" Before Remus could speak, she heard footsteps and a voice behind her, knowing exactly who it was. She turned around and saw the boys behind her. "Heard my name, did you miss me that much Sinclair that you just couldn't wait?" Sirius used his signature smirk as he looked at me, the only problem, it doesn't work on me. Remus stepped in, eyes flashing gold, "leave her alone Sirius, we literally just got on the train and you're already hitting on her." I looked at Remus and put my hand on his shoulder, "it's ok Remus, I'm ok." It was getting close to the full moon, so Remus was bound to be on edge. Sirius threw his hands up and we all went to sit in the compartment.

While Sirius and James went on and on about quidditch, Peter just staring at me again, Remus and sat with my head on his shoulder reading. After a little while, I got up and told Remus I was going to go change into my robes. I waved goodbye and then left the compartment. Walking towards the bathroom with my head in a book probably wasn't the best idea as I walked straight into what felt like a brick wall. I stumbled a bit but got my bearings as I felt someone stabilize me. I blushed, looking up to see the Prewett twins smirking and staring down at me. Holy Hell I thought, these two got hotter over the summer. "Sorry about that, I seem to be having a rough day with staying on my feet" I chuckled. "Think nothing of it little dove, I'm only glad we caught you," Fabian said with a laugh. "Thank you," I said as I put my hand on his shoulder. They laughed seeing at they were over a foot taller than me. I went to walk away only to be struck with so much pain that I just passed out on the train floor.
