{3rd POV}

A Series of Flashbacks: How We Met

Scene 1: A Few Years Ago

"Hey Langris!"

The light-brown haired boy who was studying, dressed in fancy clothes, obviously a noble, looked up from his work.

"Oh? Studying again?"

Langris sighed. It was either work or hanging out with his commoner friend.

"Seriously, you need to loosen up. You're never going to make in into the Magic Knights if you're this up tight!" Theo, Langris' friend, joked, nearing his friend's desk, though Langris was not impressed.

Langris sighed once more, clearly annoyed. "It's almost finished, I know you can wait. Besides aren't you suppose to be working? How did you even get in here?"

Theo was about to sit on Langris' desk, wanting to sit someplace comfortable before answering, but his friend shoved him off. With a pout on his face, Theo sat on the floor; The young noble boy turned around in his seat to face his friend.

"Well? Aren't you going to answer?" Langris, slightly irked, asked. He started drumming his fingers on his seat impatiently. "Tch. I'm going back to studying-"

"No! I was just getting warm and comfortable." Theo said quickly, wanting to talk to his friend. He sighed in content. "I didn't know your floors were heated."

"Okay, I'm going back to-"

"-NO! I mean, er, no." Theo interrupted once more, straightening himself. Langris only answered with a 'tch'. "I already finished my chores for the day and even for tomorrow, though I used up a lot of my mana, so I'm tired." That's why I need a break, hmph. "Also, I may or may not have bribed your brother with, er, dates so he could use his spatial magic to get me here." There was a hint of a blush on Theo's cheeks, making Langris slightly upset.

Langris knew Theo liked boys, but did it have to be his brother? Silently, the young noble turned back to his papers. There was a smothering heavy silence.

"Langris? Langris? Hey, Langris!"

Langris ignored his friend though an irked mark appeared on his face.

How come its always my brother? He's weaker than me. How is he better than me. What does Theo see in my pathetic older brother anyway?

"Langris." Theo said once more worried. What did I say wrong? The commoner boy stood up and walked over to the stiff and hunched noble.

Theo grabbed Langris by his shoulders, forcing the other boy to face his worried friend. The noble was slightly surprised to be handled like this, after all he was a noble! Langris tried to squirm out of his friend's grip but Theo was stronger from working hard day and night in the mines before getting his grimoire.

Theo stood about a couple inches higher than Langris, but he leaned down that there foreheads were nearly touching.

W-what is he doing? Is he going to kiss me?! Without consent-why that bast-

"Langris," Theo's voice was soft and Langris could feel wisps of the commoner's warm breath.

"Y-yes?" Damn it, why was he stuttering? This is Theo, his only and closest friend. Could it be-? No! No.

Theo took a sharp breath, before yelling, " WHy the HeLL aRE YoU IgNORinG mE! YoU sHoULd kNOw I dOn'T LikE bEinG igNoReD!" He even slapped Langris across his cheeks, and it was not gentle.

Langris rubbed his cheek, which he bet was extremely red. Why in the world did I think he was gonna-ugh that commoner. "WHY DID YOU SLAP ME, I'M NOBILITY! SOON TO BE HEIR OF THE HOUSE OF VAUDE!"

"Nobility my ass! You think I care! You, my friend, have momentarily ignored me for unknown reasons, probably due to something I said, making you act up like you have a stick up your ass. What the hell, man?!"

"Tch. It was only for a minute or-something."

"Actually, it was for 5 minutes. I have been calling your name, but you were too lost either in your paper work or in your thoughts! Which means you were not feeling… okay."

"What are you talking about-?" Langris was cut off by Theo hugging him tight. A hug? It's been a while since I have had a hug. Should I return it? He let his arms limp at his sides.

The noble could feel the warmth wrapped around him, his ear was currently being tickled by the warmth of Theo's breath. Langris could swear that his heartbeat was the loudest thing in the world.

"You should know I would do anything for you. Loyalty is the one thing you can trust me on." Langris found Theo's voice soothing and calm, his voice barely above a whisper.

The two boys stayed like that for a while, not minding how gay it seemed. Langris eventually decided to return the hug.

*********** "Anything?" *************

Scene 2

"Oh, no, no, no."

Let me explain the current situation.

It has been several weeks after Theo told Langris that he would do anything for his friend. Langris, for once, kept that in mind as his parents nagged him about needing a personal servant. The noble did not want or even think he needed one, though he never said it aloud. So instead kept disposing them by blaming everything on the servants whenever they made a mistake; Though usually Langris make it look like it was their fault.

He was getting tired from his parents' requests as the boy was working on some papers when he remembered what Theo had said.

Flash-back

"You should know I would do anything for you. Loyalty is the one thing you can trust me on."

End of Flash-back

That's when Langris decided to teach and lecture Theo on manners.

Flash-back

"Manners? Why do I need to learn manners? 'Gris, you feelin' okay?"

"Of course, I am perfectly okay."

"Then why do YOU want to teach ME manners?!"

"Well.." Langris paused, quickly finding an excuse. "You haven't met my parents yet and I know they would be.. Delighted to meet you. The reason you need to learn manners is to appear more sophisticated and more.. Noble-like. By doing that, we won't have to meet in secret anymore. You just need to learn the ways of royalty and nobility, and then my parents will most likely accept you." Just add in my pleads and such and maybe telling them that he would like to be my servant, then my plan will be successful.

"I mean…"

"We could go around in the garden and roam the halls and I can even show you how to dance. Li-like how to dance with a girl, of course." Langris turned the other way, pinching his cheeks.

Good thing, Theo was not paying attention. He seemed to be contemplating his choices.

"I guess, if that's what you think is the best. Plus, then we wouldn't have to keep our friendship a secret. Well, it's just your parents who don't know. Finral and all the staff and servants know already."

Another Flash-back (More Theo's POV)

Scene 3

These are Theo's Thoughts

These are Finral's thoughts.

Theo was nearly at the age of 15 and his mana was getting increasingly stronger. His magic is manipulation magic, allowing Theo to bend the will of other's mana. He only knew one spell which was a useful and simple tracking spell. As the name suggests, the commoner could figure out people's locations by sensing their mana with this tracking spell.

He was passing by the House of Vaude when he felt powerful mana. Curious, Theo concentrated on where the source was coming from. He really wanted to see what kind of magic the user was practicing.

The commoner reached out his hand and closed his eyes, focusing on the mana being poured out, if only he could grab it..

"That's it!" The young boy exclaimed, while some other commoners stared at the boy. Especially the guards posted by the House of Vaude.

He never tried to force anyone's mana towards him. It was worth a shot. Feeling the flow of mana from the other source and using his own mana, tugged on the flow he felt trying to pull in like he was a black hole, attracting the mana over.

"Wahh! What-?How-?"

Theo nearly jumped back, in front of him, was a really handsome guy. He had light-brown hair and was slightly taller than the commoner. The other boy had a very shocked expression. He was wearing such simple clothes. "W-Wait, aren't you the Heir to the House of Vaude?!"

Theo immediately started to get nervous and apologized profoundly.

There were three simple rules to follow when you see a noble: Don´t look at a noble, Don´t talk to them unless you had permission, and lastly, the most important thing: don't ever touch a noble.

Too bad I don't really listen to rules. Not the ones about social status.

"H-Hey, it's okay! Look, er, I'm not the Heir to the House. It-It´s complicated, really.. D-do you know how I got here?"

"Ah, well, you see," Theo gulped as the older boy stared down at him. "I-it was me. I-manipulated-your-mana-or-I-think-I-don't-really-understand-it-so-please-don't-get-upset-with-me-I-was-just-curious-since-you-had-a-really-strange-well-not-strange-different-eh, no-rare-mana-that-I-haven't-felt-before-s-so I wanted to see but I-I'm sorry!"

The noble just stared, not comprehending what the young commoner said. Eventually he pieced it together. "Oh, you wanted to see my magic? Are you sure? I mean it's not that special, not like my brother."

"Really?!" Theo's eyes had stars in them as Finral let out a soft and nervous laugh.

I'm probably going to disappoint him.

"C'mon. Let's go somewhere private. Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel's Gate." Theo's jaw dropped when he saw a hole, actually a portal open up.

Theo was hesitant to walk through the portal, but the noble gave him a gentle smile even though he seemed to be struggling to keep it open.

Taking that into consideration, Theo closed his eyes and hopped in, hoping he wouldn't die. If he did, at least it was with his eyes closed, which would make him look asleep.

"You can open your eyes now."

And that's what Theo did. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The grass swayed as the sun reflected its light, nearby there was a giant oak tree. A pond far down the valley where they stood, shimmered as a couple of lily pads drifted slightly from the gentle wind. The golden beam from the sun washed the two boys in its glorious light and warmth.

"Woah."

"Y-you actually like it?"

Theo turned around and looked the noble straight in the eye.

"I absolutely…"

Finral let out a nervous laugh while waited for the disgust.

"Love it!"

Huh?

Theo ran up to the noble and lifted his fist, waiting for a fist bump.

Finral stared at it confused, "U-uh, are you going to punch me? P-please don't!"

This guy doesn't know what a fist bump is, yeesh. He must have had a hard life.

"You really don't know what a fist bump is?"

"A fist..bump? Er, no. Is that some kind of spell?" Finral said nervously

I must be disappointing him by now. I knew this was a bad idea.

"No, silly! It's a hand movement, I guess that's what it is. Just copy me."

"Uh, okay? I feel silly, am I doing this right?" The nobel copied how Theo's arm and fist were positioned.

"Right! Now the whole point of this, bump!"

The two of them did an awkward fist bump but they trained (well, it was Finral who did the training, Theo was the coach ) doing fist bumps correctly.

Together, they laughed, made jokes, and told some stories under the giant oak tree watching the sun soon sink slowly into the earth.

"You know what's funny, noble?" Theo said, as he leaned against the tree with Finral laying down beside him.

"Hmm?"

"I don't even know your name and you don't know mine."

Finral looked over to the commoner, obviously shocked. He didn't know my name?! "How did you not know my name, I thought you knew since you thought I was the Heir of the House of Vaude!"

"W-well, I just assumed since you look really handso-I-I mean a handful." Theo faked a cough, hiding his blush. "And because of your unique mana. Anyways, I live in the outskirts of the Common Realm. We barely know the names of the high-uppie people."

"O-oh, I guess that makes sense.." Do I really look like a handful? And did he seriously say 'high-uppie people'?Did he mean nobles and Royals?"My name's Finral. What's yours?"

"Theo. My name's Theo, Finral."

There was a comfortable silence between them.

"So, how old are you, Finral~" Theo asked, deciding to lay beside Finral.

"M-me?" Finral blushed, and it didn't help that he was stuttering. What was this feeling? "I'm just turned 15. W-what about you?"

Theo turned his face toward Finral. "I'm 14, but I am turning 15 soon. We aren't too far apart."

Finral looked quickly over to the commoner, surprised but he moved away from Theo's face, feeling too close. "What do mean with 'we aren't too far apart'?"

"It's nothing, Finral." The commoner boy sighed in content, watching the darkness fall.

"Shouldn't you be home by now?" Finral asked slightly worried, it was getting dark by the second.

"I suppose so. My parents don't care and they possibly can't."

Finral looked over to Theo. Was his parents like his own? "Either way, I need to get home. It's not like you can come with me."

Theo sat up, startling Finral, who sat up as well. "Of course! I´ll just go with you. I'll just hide somewhere in your room!"

Finral's jaw dropped. What would his parents say? Where could I hide him? Wouldn't someone sense him? Theo gives off a bit too much mana, enough to be potentially noticed..

"I-I don't know."

"Just for one night. I won't ever bother you with this kind of request ever again."

"I-" Finral stopped, seeing as Theo wouldn't stop begging. He also seemed desperate. "Okay, but just this one night."

"Thank you. Here's a fist bump."

Both of them fist bumped as Finral gave a weak smile.

"C'mon, let's get going."

The Next Morning

Scene 4

Finral's room

These are Langris' thoughts

Finral woke up from the sun hitting his face, causing him to turn over, trying to block the sun as much as possible. Grumbling slightly he went back to sleep.

As for Theo, he ended up hiding in Finral's gigantic walk-in closet. Last night, the commoner went all the way to the end and took several stacks of Finral's fine clothes around him, creating a fort-looking thing where Theo couldn't be seen. There was one problem. Theo moved around in his sleep. A lot.

For that reason, Theo was surprised when he was almost suffocating in Finral's fancy clothes. All those stacks that had taken precious time to fold and now he ruined it all.

He could use some of his magic, though that may alert anyone nearby but everyone's probably asleep. Hopefully. Theo quickly scrambled out of the mess and stood up.

He concentrated on moving the clothes and and piling it up as it was before. It took awhile but the boy was excited when the clothes started folding itself. But, the process was slower than Theo thought. He could feel his mana start to drain and he wasn't even halfway done yet. I just need to keep it steady. And then I will be done in-

Theo immediately stopped folding the clothes (he had to cancel his magic) when he heard a door open. He assumed that it was Finral's door since the closet door didn't open. And because of the voice,

"Finral, you pathetic brother. Mother and Father want to see you immediately, for some reason. Just don't let it get through your head that they want to see you for a good reason. It must be a lecture, brother." The voice sneered. That must be Finral's brother. I guess he must be Finral's older brother. But his voice..

I have to hide, I don't want to risk getting caught or getting Finral in trouble. Theo looked around and decided to go back into the mess of clothes. He covered himself with all the clothes using some of the stacks to help cover him. Theo would have to hope no one could sense his mana, he did not want to release mana in fear of being questioned. Theo turned to face the wall.

There's a strange mana presence nearby. And it´s not my lazy brother. Langris looked to his older brother, not bothering to wake him up and tried to sense where this mysterious mana was coming from. The boy follow it to a door, the closet door more specifically. Quietly, Langris opened the door in case someone dangerous was inside.

Theo managed to slow his breathing, so his presence might not be as noticeable. He started to store his magic in case so that he could manipulate the clothes on top of him, so they would fold quickly and seem to be stacked on top of Theo. For he knew by mana sensing, that someone else was in the closet. And it wasn't Finral.

Langris knew he was getting closer and closer to the mana presence, somewhere on his right.

Now! Theo manipulated the clothes to look to be a stack of fancy clothes. Finral, where are you, damn it!

Langris was surprised that the mysterious mana that he sensed was coming from a stack of Finral's delicate clothes. He stared at the stack.

"Whoevers here show yourself, unless you want to face the wrath of the Vaudes."

Theo was having trouble keeping up with the manipulated clothes, his mana was almost depleted.

"Langris!" The voice belonged to Finral, the mana presence from 'Langris' and his footsteps faded away as the closet door was slammed shut.

"Langris my dearest brother, what were you doing in my closet?" Finral had woken up and notice his closet door was open and had remembered about Theo.

"I sensed a strange mana coming from there. I wonder why." Langris walked a step closer to his older brother. "And I highly doubt it was one of your ladies. Just remember only nobility and royalty are allowed without permission. On the other hand, commoners and peasants face trials."

"I-I know that." Finral said, but a drop of sweat was already forming.

"Good to know." Langris walked out but before leaving he said one last thing. "Mother and Father wanted to see you. It's urgent."

As soon as the door closed, Finral let out a sigh of relief. "You can get out now."

Immediately, Theo rushed out and tripped on the carpet, falling on Finral.

"S-sorry!" Theo stood up, his face extremely red, but he gave Finral his hand so that he could stand up.

"A-ah. W-well, my parents summoned me. I have to go but you'll be fine on your own?" The noble said, but didn't make eye contact with the commoner and his hand was on his nape, heat filling his cheeks.

"Y-yeah, of course."

"Then, I'll be able to take you back to your home."

"Thanks, Finral. You're actually nice for a noble."

Finral blushes hard at that comment but only waves good-bye as he leaves.

Theo yawned, and stretched his body, hearing all his bones pop.

"Hmm~So tired."

Theo glazed at the room. It was definitely bigger than his home in the common realm. There was a lavish bed with decorated pillows, just fluffed right with intricate designs. Theo noticed a white door to what he assumed was the bathroom.

"A bed..hmm~" The commoner walked closer to the bed, extremely tired from using almost all of his mana. Pulling the blanket off, Theo slid under. He pulled the blanket back up, embracing the warmth from the sun. So warm~ngh.

"But...I don't think I should.." The boy yawned loudly before his eyes started to drift off and eventually he started to snore lightly. Theo's mana was pretty much depleted plus he hadn't sleep this great in a while.

Langris waited a while after his brother left. Quickly and quietly, the young boy opened up Finral's door. He smirked when the noble found a slightly older boy snoring in Finral's bed. Finral would get in so much trouble, but before that I should have a bit of fun.

Langris silently crept up to the boy, smirking, and poked the commoner's cheek. A tight sleeper. This will be great. He lifted his hand and a blob of similar spatial magic appeared. The boy crept near the commoner boy, raising his hand, while his magic became more powerful.

Theo's eyes fluttered open and widen from the sight in front of him.

Ah, great I'mma die now. Well, isn't that fantastic?

The boy backed away on the bed, but fell off from the edge, landing on his bum.

Theo saw the other boy's face showed disappointment but he gave a bit of a creepy smirk.

"I wonder how a disgusting creature like you wounded up in my house. Don't you know that's against the law, peasant!" Langris stalked closer to the commoner boy, who backed up against the wall, cornering him.

"H-hey, no fair!" Theo stood up, now annoyed.

Huh? What is this boy doing? He's suppose to fear me! I'm going to be the Heir to the House of Vaude!

"First off, you called me 'disgusting' when you haven't looked yourself in the mirror," Theo started listing Langris' faults on his fingers. "Second, I didn't know it was against the law, so- sorry… I guess-"

The noble got angry at Theo's words and yelled, "You guess?! How dare you insult me, begone yo-"

The commoner interrupted Langris saying, "The only one who does the interrupting is me, got it? If not, you need my permission. You never even let me finish! Thirdly, I'm not a peasant. I'm a commoner, you dumbass. Fourthly-wait, is that a word?-whatever- You probably can't defeat me."

The noble boy's face was shocked, angered, but mostly his pride felt attacked.

"Tch. If you think you can surpass me, then we'll settle this with a duel. Follow me, peasant." Langris turned around, and walked out of the room. Leading the other boy into the training grounds outside.

Dang, he's so serious! I was only joking. Man, nobles are so uptight. I guess I have to fight him now. The only thing I know he has is spacial magic-so I just need to manipulate it. Or try too. I didn't recover as much mana as I wanted to. Hmph, stupid noble.

Langris went on one end while Theo was facing him from afar.

"Ready, uptight noble?"

Instead of answering, the other boy raised his hands creating the same blobs that Theo saw before. This time it was surrounding Langris, ready to attack.

I just need to dodge them and I'll be fine. Yup, I just need to dodge and possibly avoid death. O-my-god-I'm-going-to face-a-noble-ahhh!

That was easier said than done. Langris started shooting balls of spatial magic toward the commoner. Theo was barely dodging them, nearly getting hit by one in the face.

That's such amazing control and mana! While I dodge, I need to store my mana.

Suddenly I tripped, I looked over and saw there was a hole, like the ground seemed to be erased- HoLY CrAP tHAt'S hIS MagIc?!

Debris and dust covered the ground, both boys were unable to see each other yet Theo could sense Langris' mana, Theo suppress his mana though it was difficult. He's releasing some mana, what an idiot!

There that foul-mouth commoner is gone. So pathetic.

The young noble stared at the debris before turning around.

"Boo."

Langris' heart beated so hard, he thought he would die. The boy stood with shock when he saw the commoner more or less fine.

"H-how? Your just a pathetic commoner, I have more mana than you! So, how?"

"You think I'mma tell you after you tried to kill me! Who does that?"

Langris heart didn't slow down in fact it started beating harder when Theo moved toward the extremely shocked (shooketh) noble. Was he afraid of a commoner?!

"Who are you?" Langris demanded, watching his every move now.

"Why thank you for asking~," Theo said, being a bit playful. "It's Theo! What's yours, dear noble? Eh~oh! Can I just say your spatial magic is so cool!"

Someone besides his brother actually wanted to get to know him? Others of nobility and royalty rarely wanted to be around Langris, since he was described as 'cold-hearted', 'emotionless' at times even. But.. the boy in front of him was different. Except there was one problem, Langris was of high status while Theo was below him on that status pyramid.

"My name is Langris Vaude, Head to the House of Vaude, youngest brother to Finral. I have offensive spatial magic, which is what my family is known for-honestly, how do you not know this stuff!" Langris sighed, annoyed yet… relieved.

Theo faked a cough, which made Langris look over to him.

"What?"

Nope, Theo couldn't hold it in anymore- He started to burst out in laughter, causing Langris to become confused and he then demanded to know what was so funny.

"I'm sorry it's just-" The commoner pretend to wipe away some fake tears. "I only asked for your name, not all that other stuff-whatever that was."

Embarrassed, Langris folded his arms and turned his head the other way. "Tch. How dare you-I'm nobility."

The commoner laughed and the noble started to smile a bit.

"Friends?" Theo lifted his fist, waiting for a fist bump.

Langris just stared at it, not sure what to do. "What are you doing?"

Theo groaned, his head dropped and his arm fell to his side. "Not you, too! Do I have to teach you as well?"

"Huh?"

"Eh, it's nothing. I have to get going, but I'll see you around, won't I?"

Theo started walking back inside, even though he had no clue where he was going. It was silent, something the commoner didn't like. Until he heard light footsteps and humming..?

He continued walking towards the person, unaware that Langris was following, totally not making sure Theo wouldn't get in trouble.

The boy turned around the corner, bumping into a middle-age woman with a laundry basket in her hands.

"OOf!" Theo held his stomach, but he wobbled to his feet. "S-sorry. Ma'am, are you okay? Did you get hurt? I´ll help you."

The middle-age woman looked at Theo, unsure whether to get the guards or let him help her. "I-I- Are you-?" She stopped when she felt a burst of mana release from the commoner. Mouth-wide, she stood there.

Theo, on the other hand, focused his mana on folding the clothes and putting them back in the basket. When it was finished, he gave the woman a smile before giving back her basket.

Welp, I don't have anymore mana left! I´ll be dead meat if I encounter any more nobles.

That was a lot of mana! Did he store it away this whole time, allowing it to build-up?! Is that how he dodged my attacks?

Despite being helped by the commoner, the maid rushed past Theo, "Guards!" Though not very loudly. She dropped the basket to run faster.

In an instant, Langris was in front of the woman, smirked and said, "But what for?"

The woman curtsied and addressed Langris correctly, "Master Langris, there was a boy, who must have broken into-"

The boy only laughed but not for long before he leaned in close to the maid's ear. "That boy is my… training buddy, but you must swear never to tell anyone, hiding him whenever you see him, as the boy will visit me from time to time. Do not by all means tell my parents, even it means to lie to their faces. Do that and I will let you live. But if not-" Langris lifted his hand when orbs from his spatial magic appeared.

"Y-yes, Master Langris! I swear by the House of Vaude, I will keep this secret!"

The noble let the maid go, watching her flee away from him.

Did I really say 'training buddy'? Who says that! tch.

"Hey, Langris!" Theo ran up to him, not noticing that the brown-haired boy was here all along. He was carrying the maid's basket that had fallen. "Huh? Where did the woman go?"

So oblivious sometimes, how… annoyingl̶y̶ ̶c̶u̶t̶e̶

Langris showed Theo the way back to Finral's room (Theo taught him to fist bump along the way) and opened the door, to see Finral pacing around, looking extremely panicky.

"Hey, Finral!" Theo put his arm around Finral's neck and with his other hand, pointed to Finral's chest. "Now stop your worrying, I'm here now."

The older teen blushed from the contact. He looked over to his younger brother-WAIT, WHAT?!

Finral sweat dropped as he tried to manage a weak smile, "D-don't worry, Langris, I was just about to take Th-him home now so there's no need to tell Mother and Father about us-HIM, y-yeah, him."

Langris scoffed at his brother's messy emotions, "I'm not going to tell Mother and Father, but not because of you. Hurry up."

Finral's mouth gaped wide, "H-huh? How come?"

"Tch. I'm not telling you. I have my reasons."

The older brother sighed, I thought he would say something like that.

"Come on, Theo. Let's go take you home." Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel's Gate

As the two of them walked through the portal, Finral waved back to his brother, who merely turned around and walked out.

Later that Night

Scene 5

Langris' Room

"Theo is so cute, isn't he?" Finral asked as his head popped out from the wall, due to spatial magic. Currently, Langris was trying to practice his magic by himself. His older brother wasn't helping him focus.

"No."

"I love his personality, don't you?"

"No."

"He can be surprising, right?"

"Yes-no!" Langris coughed before keeping his cool. "No."

"Oh, so you were listening to what I was saying! Oh, Langris!"

Langris glared at his brother, who sweat-dropped, "Y-you know, why did you let him go? Not that I'm complaining!"

Langris didn't answer. Finral decided to see if he was affect by the commoner like he was.

"At least give me a fist bump."

Out of reflex from doing it so much with Theo, Langris gave his older brother a fist bump, Finral gasped (with some fangirling).

"Theo taught you his ways. He lectured you on the 'fist bumps'! Wow, I never expected you would listen to a commoner, lil' brother!"

Feeling embarrassed once more, Langris shoved Finral's head back into the portal.

" Ow. oW. OW!" Finral cried out loud when he fell backwards.

Geez, he didn't have to do that.

"Which means, Langris totally likes Theo!" Finral started to cry and sniffling. "Oh, how he has grown! Finally, he likes someone."

Bonus:

Scene 6

Where all the people living in the House of Vaude had their clothes washed: A group of both men and women surrounded a single maid, listening in awe.

"And then, Master Langris stood up for a commoner! It was so heart-warming!"

One man grumbled, "Are sure it was Langris? He never acts so-emotionally."

"Of course, it was. Because right after he threatened to kill me if I told anyone."

"Ahhhh," Everyone said, but to themselves: "That's Langris for sure."

"W-Wait, does that mean you weren't suppose to tell us, right?"

The maid thought for a moment and shrugged. "No, but the commoner is going to visit Langris so we'll see them together, maybe. If any of us do then, he would just threaten you. I think that Master Langris just wants to hide it from Lord Vaude and Lady Vaude."

"Ahhhh."

"Makes sense."

"I can't wait to meet the commoner!"

"Langris has a real friend!"

"Yay for friendship!"

And that's how Theo and Langris met.

End of Flashback And End of Chapter:

A/n

So, what do ya think? Chapter 2 is already in progress, but you may still need to wait a while for an update. I have to write the Magic Knights Entrance Exam and that's a bit of a pain in the neck but I try to make it canon to the story as possible.

You may have noticed but Theo is going to be an adult by the time Asta and Yuno enter the scene. Next chapter is going to be the continuation of Chapter 1. So basically still kind of filler, but you get to meet another character who is pretty important in this story.

Anywho~ Have a good day/night!

Last Edit: 3/23/21, Changed Theo's age to 15
