The races of the world are classified following ranks and classes by smarter creatures, there are many factors that play a role in deciding where the race ends up on the ranking scale: Size, strength, smartness, abilities and natural magic prowess.
The system of classes is divided in humanoid, berserker, behemoth, leviathan, artificial, cosmic, paradoxical and divine.
Four factors play a role in deciding which class to place a race in, these are behavior, abilities, appearence and how they are created.
Humanoid: A race is Humanoid if they have a human like body able to do human movements, the other things that they need to be humanoid, is being smarter than an animal, some have way more physical and magical prowess than humans, almost going on par with leviathans.
Berserker: The berserker class races are characterized by their fierce behavior and beast like body.
Behemoth: Behemoths are a superior version of the berserker, being bigger and more strategic, they are able to use a variety of magic which includes fire, ice, earth, electric, shadow and light.
Leviathan: These are much bigger monsters than behemoths, their bodies can go from meters to kilometers and their exclusivly aquatic, altought some of them are able to move on land for a bit before having to head back into the water to breath.
Artificial: An artificial race is something that is made by a naturally existing one, along with the cosmic and divine, this class ignores the appearence rule in favor of the abilities and how they are created (You'll see what i mean in the next chapter).
Cosmic: The races of the cosmic class are those that were generated in the vacuum of space in one or another way, some of them are created after supernovas, others when a star dies and most rare of all, when a black hole stabilizes.
Paradoxical: A paradoxical race simply makes no sense, controlling the rules of quantum dynamics and metaphysical concepts, an example comes from the holder of the strongest paradoxical race there is who can control time.
Divine: The highest class of all, nothing is able to surpass them, it doesn't include the members of a race that may have achieved godhood because the single individual achieved it and not the entire race.
These are all the classes that arecounted in the world, but there is one extra variant that doesn't really count as a class, this is called Radiated, it gets applied to non humanoid races that for some reason gained a humanoid body, it isn't known how it happens, but it only afflicts the races from the Berserker, Behemoth and Leviathan class, their features translate in their humanoid form one way or another, if they don't have a defined torso, their features would most likely apply to their heads.
