A/N Post Captain America Civil War. There are small ships, not really mentioned.
Peter woke up groggily and disoriented. Why was he awake? It was Saturday, he didn't need to be awake early for school. He looked at his phone. The time on his phone said it was 1:30 AM. Makes sense. The sky outside his window was the color of a bruise, black and blue and purple. Hell, no one should be awake at this hour. So why was he?
Then his senses started going haywire. He looked around for danger in his quiet apartment but saw none. Then Tony called. The sound startled Peter, and he answered.
"Hey Tony." "Hey kid, listen, we got a problem. Come to the tower and I'll explain everything," He said. "Okay," Peter said, still groggy. He wrote a quick note to May that he went patrolling and if she needs to know where he is go to 's Tower. He also wrote down Tony's phone number just in case.
Peter grabbed the suit, put it on, and swung over as fast as he could. When he arrived, he saw that not only was Tony, Vision, Rhodey, and Nat there, So was the rest of the team. They had gone their separate ways 4 months ago after the fight, and Peter hadn't thought that Tony had any contact with them. Apparently, Peter was wrong.
Peter was taken aback, shocked to see everyone. Captain America, Steve Rogers, reached out his hand for Peter to shake. "Queens". "Brooklyn" "I don't think we were ever properly introduced, besides in battle." He said. "I'm Steve." "Peter." The rest of them all introduced themselves quickly, already all business. "So Rogers, mind telling us why you called at the ungodly hour of 1 am," said Tony. "So the gist is that there's some sort of crazy psychopath scientist who has been experimenting with my super-soldier serum on animals and wants to rule the world." "So just the usual mission," Tony said with sarcasm. Steve glared at him. "He's currently in Russia, trying to take Moscow. We have about 3 hours to get to him before he reaches the city."
A hologram of the woods where they would most likely be fighting showed up. They studied the terrain a bit, then went over a plan. Peter had to admit, it was nice to see Wanda again. He had missed her. They had formed a close friendship the moment they met, and it continued to get stronger. Peter considered Wanda the sister he never had and Wanda considered Peter her little brother.
"Alright Avengers," said Steve, "Suit up."
